Levítico 22

King James (Authorized) Version (ENG-KJV2006)

And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* spake|strong="H1696" unto Moses|strong="H4872", saying|strong="H0559",

Speak|strong="H1696" unto Aaron|strong="H0175" and to his sons|strong="H1121", that they separate|strong="H5144" themselves from the holy things|strong="H6944" of the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478", and that they profane|strong="H2490" not my holy|strong="H6944" name|strong="H8034" in those things which they hallow|strong="H6942" unto me: I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.

Say|strong="H0559" unto them, Whosoever|strong="H0376" he be of all your seed|strong="H2233" among your generations|strong="H1755", that goeth|strong="H7126" unto the holy things|strong="H6944", which the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478" hallow|strong="H6942" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, having his uncleanness|strong="H2932" upon him, that soul|strong="H5315" shall be cut off|strong="H3772" from my presence|strong="H6440": I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.

What man soever|strong="H0376" of the seed|strong="H2233" of Aaron|strong="H0175" is a leper|strong="H6879", or hath a running issue|strong="H2100"; he shall not eat|strong="H0398" of the holy things|strong="H6944", until he be clean|strong="H2891". And whoso toucheth|strong="H5060" any thing that is unclean|strong="H2931" by the dead|strong="H5315", or a man|strong="H0376" whose seed|strong="H2233" goeth|strong="H3318" from him;

Or whosoever|strong="H0376" toucheth|strong="H5060" any creeping thing|strong="H8318", whereby he may be made unclean|strong="H2930", or a man|strong="H0120" of whom he may take uncleanness|strong="H2930", whatsoever uncleanness|strong="H2932" he hath;

The soul|strong="H5315" which hath touched|strong="H5060" any such shall be unclean|strong="H2930" until even|strong="H6153", and shall not eat|strong="H0398" of the holy things|strong="H6944", unless|strong="H0518" he wash|strong="H7364" his flesh|strong="H1320" with water|strong="H4325".

And when the sun|strong="H8121" is down|strong="H0935", he shall be clean|strong="H2891", and shall afterward|strong="H0310" eat|strong="H0398" of the holy things|strong="H6944"; because it is his food|strong="H3899".

That which dieth of itself|strong="H5038", or is torn|strong="H2966" with beasts, he shall not eat|strong="H0398" to defile|strong="H2930" himself therewith: I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.

They shall therefore keep|strong="H8104" mine ordinance|strong="H4931", lest they bear|strong="H5375" sin|strong="H2399" for it, and die|strong="H4191" therefore, if they profane|strong="H2490" it: I the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* do sanctify|strong="H6942" them.

There shall no stranger|strong="H2114" eat|strong="H0398" of the holy thing|strong="H6944": a sojourner|strong="H8453" of the priest|strong="H3548", or an hired servant|strong="H7916", shall not eat|strong="H0398" of the holy thing|strong="H6944".

But if the priest|strong="H3548" buy|strong="H7069" any soul|strong="H5315" with|strong="H7075" his money|strong="H3701", he shall eat|strong="H0398" of it, and he that is born|strong="H3211" in his house|strong="H1004": they shall eat|strong="H0398" of his meat|strong="H3899".

If the priest’s|strong="H3548" daughter|strong="H1323" also be married unto a stranger|strong="H0376", she may not eat|strong="H0398" of an offering|strong="H8641" of the holy things|strong="H6944".

But if the priest’s|strong="H3548" daughter|strong="H1323" be a widow|strong="H0490", or divorced|strong="H1644", and have no child|strong="H2233", and is returned|strong="H7725" unto her father’s|strong="H0001" house|strong="H1004", as in her youth|strong="H5271", she shall eat|strong="H0398" of her father’s|strong="H0001" meat|strong="H3899": but there shall no stranger|strong="H2114" eat|strong="H0398" thereof.

And if a man|strong="H0376" eat|strong="H0398" of the holy thing|strong="H6944" unwittingly|strong="H7684", then he shall put|strong="H3254" the fifth|strong="H2549" part thereof unto it, and shall give|strong="H5414" it unto the priest|strong="H3548" with the holy thing|strong="H6944".

And they shall not profane|strong="H2490" the holy things|strong="H6944" of the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478", which they offer|strong="H7311" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*;

Or suffer them to bear|strong="H5375" the iniquity|strong="H5771" of trespass|strong="H0819", when they eat|strong="H0398" their holy things|strong="H6944": for I the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* do sanctify|strong="H6942" them.

And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* spake|strong="H1696" unto Moses|strong="H4872", saying|strong="H0559",

Speak|strong="H1696" unto Aaron|strong="H0175", and to his sons|strong="H1121", and unto all the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478", and say|strong="H0559" unto them, Whatsoever|strong="H0376" he be of the house|strong="H1004" of Israel|strong="H3478", or of the strangers|strong="H1616" in Israel|strong="H3478", that will offer|strong="H7126" his oblation|strong="H7133" for all his vows|strong="H5088", and for all his freewill offerings|strong="H5071", which they will offer|strong="H7126" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* for a burnt offering|strong="H5930";

Ye shall offer at your own will|strong="H7522" a male|strong="H2145" without blemish|strong="H8549", of the beeves|strong="H1241", of the sheep|strong="H3775", or of the goats|strong="H5795".

But whatsoever hath a blemish|strong="H3971", that shall ye not offer|strong="H7126": for it shall not be acceptable|strong="H7522" for you.

And whosoever|strong="H0376" offereth|strong="H7126" a sacrifice|strong="H2077" of peace offerings|strong="H8002" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* to accomplish|strong="H6381" his vow|strong="H5088", or a freewill offering|strong="H5071" in beeves|strong="H1241" or sheep|strong="H6629", it shall be perfect|strong="H8549" to be accepted|strong="H7522"; there shall be no blemish|strong="H3971" therein.

Blind|strong="H5788", or broken|strong="H7665", or maimed|strong="H2782", or having a wen|strong="H2990", or scurvy|strong="H1618", or scabbed|strong="H3217", ye shall not offer|strong="H7126" these unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, nor make|strong="H5414" an offering by fire|strong="H0801" of them upon the altar|strong="H4196" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.

Either a bullock|strong="H7794" or a lamb|strong="H7716" that hath any thing superfluous|strong="H8311" or lacking in his parts|strong="H7038", that mayest thou offer|strong="H6213" for a freewill offering|strong="H5071"; but for a vow|strong="H5088" it shall not be accepted|strong="H7521".

Ye shall not offer|strong="H7126" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* that which is bruised|strong="H4600", or crushed|strong="H3807", or broken|strong="H5423", or cut|strong="H3772"; neither shall ye make|strong="H6213" any offering thereof in your land|strong="H0776".

Neither from a stranger’s|strong="H5236" hand|strong="H3027" shall ye offer|strong="H7126" the bread|strong="H3899" of your God|strong="H0430" of any of these; because their corruption|strong="H4893" is in them, and blemishes|strong="H3971" be in them: they shall not be accepted|strong="H7521" for you.

And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* spake|strong="H1696" unto Moses|strong="H4872", saying|strong="H0559",

When a bullock|strong="H7794", or a sheep|strong="H3775", or a goat|strong="H5795", is brought forth|strong="H3205", then it shall be seven|strong="H7651" days|strong="H3117" under the dam|strong="H0517"; and from the eighth|strong="H8066" day|strong="H3117" and thenceforth|strong="H1973" it shall be accepted|strong="H7521" for an offering|strong="H7133" made by fire|strong="H0801" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.

And whether it be cow|strong="H7794" or ewe|strong="H7716", ye shall not kill|strong="H7819" it and her young|strong="H1121" both in one|strong="H0259" day|strong="H3117".

And when ye will offer|strong="H2076" a sacrifice|strong="H2077" of thanksgiving|strong="H8426" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, offer|strong="H2076" it at your own will|strong="H7522".

On the same day|strong="H3117" it shall be eaten up|strong="H0398"; ye shall leave|strong="H3498" none of it until the morrow|strong="H1242": I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.

Therefore shall ye keep|strong="H8104" my commandments|strong="H4687", and do|strong="H6213" them: I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.

Neither shall ye profane|strong="H2490" my holy|strong="H6944" name|strong="H8034"; but I will be hallowed|strong="H6942" among|strong="H8432" the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478": I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* which hallow|strong="H6942" you,

That brought you out|strong="H3318" of the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714", to be your God|strong="H0430": I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
