2 Speak|strong="H1696" unto the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478", and say|strong="H0559" unto them, I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* your God|strong="H0430".
3 After the doings|strong="H4639" of the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714", wherein ye dwelt|strong="H3427", shall ye not do|strong="H6213": and after the doings|strong="H4639" of the land|strong="H0776" of Canaan|strong="H3667", whither I bring|strong="H0935" you, shall ye not do|strong="H6213": neither shall ye walk|strong="H3212" in their ordinances|strong="H2708".
4 Ye shall do|strong="H6213" my judgments|strong="H4941", and keep|strong="H8104" mine ordinances|strong="H2708", to walk|strong="H3212" therein: I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* your God|strong="H0430".
5 Ye shall therefore keep|strong="H8104" my statutes|strong="H2708", and my judgments|strong="H4941": which|strong="H0834" if a man|strong="H0120" do|strong="H6213", he shall live|strong="H2425" in them: I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
6 None of you shall approach|strong="H7126" to any|strong="H0376" that is near|strong="H7607" of kin|strong="H1320" to him, to uncover|strong="H1540" their nakedness|strong="H6172": I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
7 The nakedness|strong="H6172" of thy father|strong="H0001", or the nakedness|strong="H6172" of thy mother|strong="H0517", shalt thou not uncover|strong="H1540": she is thy mother|strong="H0517"; thou shalt not uncover|strong="H1540" her nakedness|strong="H6172".
8 The nakedness|strong="H6172" of thy father’s|strong="H0001" wife|strong="H0802" shalt thou not uncover|strong="H1540": it is thy father’s|strong="H0001" nakedness|strong="H6172".
9 The nakedness|strong="H6172" of thy sister|strong="H0269", the daughter|strong="H1323" of thy father|strong="H0001", or daughter|strong="H1323" of thy mother|strong="H0517", whether she be born|strong="H4138" at home|strong="H1004", or born|strong="H4138" abroad|strong="H2351", even their nakedness|strong="H6172" thou shalt not uncover|strong="H1540".
10 The nakedness|strong="H6172" of thy son’s|strong="H1121" daughter|strong="H1323", or of thy daughter’s|strong="H1323" daughter|strong="H1323", even their nakedness|strong="H6172" thou shalt not uncover|strong="H1540": for theirs|strong="H2007" is thine own nakedness|strong="H6172".
11 The nakedness|strong="H6172" of thy father’s|strong="H0001" wife’s|strong="H0802" daughter|strong="H1323", begotten|strong="H4138" of thy father|strong="H0001", she is thy sister|strong="H0269", thou shalt not uncover|strong="H1540" her nakedness|strong="H6172".
12 Thou shalt not uncover|strong="H1540" the nakedness|strong="H6172" of thy father’s|strong="H0001" sister|strong="H0269": she is thy father’s|strong="H0001" near kinswoman|strong="H7607".
13 Thou shalt not uncover|strong="H1540" the nakedness|strong="H6172" of thy mother’s|strong="H0517" sister|strong="H0269": for she is thy mother’s|strong="H0517" near kinswoman|strong="H7607".
14 Thou shalt not uncover|strong="H1540" the nakedness|strong="H6172" of thy father’s|strong="H0001" brother|strong="H0251", thou shalt not approach|strong="H7126" to his wife|strong="H0802": she is thine aunt|strong="H1733".
15 Thou shalt not uncover|strong="H1540" the nakedness|strong="H6172" of thy daughter in law|strong="H3618": she is thy son’s|strong="H1121" wife|strong="H0802"; thou shalt not uncover|strong="H1540" her nakedness|strong="H6172".
16 Thou shalt not uncover|strong="H1540" the nakedness|strong="H6172" of thy brother’s|strong="H0251" wife|strong="H0802": it is thy brother’s|strong="H0251" nakedness|strong="H6172".
17 Thou shalt not uncover|strong="H1540" the nakedness|strong="H6172" of a woman|strong="H0802" and her daughter|strong="H1323", neither shalt thou take|strong="H3947" her son’s|strong="H1121" daughter|strong="H1323", or her daughter’s|strong="H1323" daughter|strong="H1323", to uncover|strong="H1540" her nakedness|strong="H6172"; for they are her near kinswomen|strong="H7608": it is wickedness|strong="H2154".
18 Neither shalt thou take|strong="H3947" a wife|strong="H0802" to her sister|strong="H0269", to vex|strong="H6887" her, to uncover|strong="H1540" her nakedness|strong="H6172", beside the other in her life|strong="H2416" time.
19 Also thou shalt not approach|strong="H7126" unto a woman|strong="H0802" to uncover|strong="H1540" her nakedness|strong="H6172", as long as she is put apart|strong="H5079" for her uncleanness|strong="H2932".
20 Moreover thou shalt not|strong="H5414" lie|strong="H7903" carnally|strong="H2233" with thy neighbour’s|strong="H5997" wife|strong="H0802", to defile|strong="H2930" thyself with her.
21 And thou shalt not|strong="H5414" let any of thy seed|strong="H2233" pass|strong="H5674" through the fire to Molech|strong="H4432", neither shalt thou profane|strong="H2490" the name|strong="H8034" of thy God|strong="H0430": I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
22 Thou shalt not lie|strong="H7901" with mankind|strong="H2145", as with|strong="H4904" womankind|strong="H0802": it is abomination|strong="H8441".
23 Neither shalt thou|strong="H5414" lie|strong="H7903" with any beast|strong="H0929" to defile|strong="H2930" thyself therewith: neither shall any woman|strong="H0802" stand|strong="H5975" before|strong="H6440" a beast|strong="H0929" to lie down|strong="H7250" thereto: it is confusion|strong="H8397".
24 Defile|strong="H2930" not ye yourselves in any of these things|strong="H0428": for in all these the nations|strong="H1471" are defiled|strong="H2930" which I cast out|strong="H7971" before|strong="H6440" you:
25 And the land|strong="H0776" is defiled|strong="H2930": therefore I do visit|strong="H6485" the iniquity|strong="H5771" thereof upon it, and the land|strong="H0776" itself vomiteth out|strong="H6958" her inhabitants|strong="H3427".
26 Ye shall therefore keep|strong="H8104" my statutes|strong="H2708" and my judgments|strong="H4941", and shall not commit|strong="H6213" any of these abominations|strong="H8441"; neither any of your own nation|strong="H0249", nor any stranger|strong="H1616" that sojourneth|strong="H1481" among|strong="H8432" you:
27 (For all these|strong="H0411" abominations|strong="H8441" have the men|strong="H0582" of the land|strong="H0776" done|strong="H6213", which were before|strong="H6440" you, and the land|strong="H0776" is defiled|strong="H2930";)
28 That the land|strong="H0776" spue not you out|strong="H6958" also, when ye defile|strong="H2930" it, as it spued out|strong="H6958" the nations|strong="H1471" that were before|strong="H6440" you.
29 For whosoever shall commit|strong="H6213" any of these abominations|strong="H8441", even the souls|strong="H5315" that commit|strong="H6213" them shall be cut off|strong="H3772" from among|strong="H7130" their people|strong="H5971".
30 Therefore shall ye keep|strong="H8104" mine ordinance|strong="H4931", that ye commit|strong="H6213" not any one of these abominable|strong="H8441" customs|strong="H2708", which were committed|strong="H6213" before|strong="H6440" you, and that ye defile|strong="H2930" not yourselves therein: I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* your God|strong="H0430".
