Remember|strong="H2142", O \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, what is come upon us: consider|strong="H5027", and behold|strong="H7200" our reproach|strong="H2781".
Our inheritance|strong="H5159" is turned|strong="H2015" to strangers|strong="H2114", our houses|strong="H1004" to aliens|strong="H5237".
We are orphans|strong="H3490" and fatherless|strong="H0369", our mothers|strong="H0517" are as widows|strong="H0490".
We have drunken|strong="H8354" our water|strong="H4325" for money|strong="H3701"; our wood|strong="H6086" is sold|strong="H0935" unto us.
Our necks|strong="H6677" are under persecution|strong="H7291": we labour|strong="H3021", and have no rest|strong="H5117".
We have given|strong="H5414" the hand|strong="H3027" to the Egyptians|strong="H4714", and to the Assyrians|strong="H0804", to be satisfied|strong="H7646" with bread|strong="H3899".
Our fathers|strong="H0001" have sinned|strong="H2398", and are not|strong="H0369"; and we have borne|strong="H5445" their iniquities|strong="H5771".
Servants|strong="H5650" have ruled|strong="H4910" over us: there is none that doth deliver|strong="H6561" us out of their hand|strong="H3027".
We gat|strong="H0935" our bread|strong="H3899" with the peril of our lives|strong="H5315" because|strong="H6440" of the sword|strong="H2719" of the wilderness|strong="H4057".
Our skin|strong="H5785" was black|strong="H3648" like an oven|strong="H8574" because|strong="H6440" of the terrible|strong="H2152" famine|strong="H7458".
They ravished|strong="H6031" the women|strong="H0802" in Zion|strong="H6726", and the maids|strong="H1330" in the cities|strong="H5892" of Judah|strong="H3063".
Princes|strong="H8269" are hanged up|strong="H8518" by their hand|strong="H3027": the faces|strong="H6440" of elders|strong="H2205" were not honoured|strong="H1921".
They took|strong="H5375" the young men|strong="H0970" to grind|strong="H2911", and the children|strong="H5288" fell|strong="H3782" under the wood|strong="H6086".
The elders|strong="H2205" have ceased|strong="H7673" from the gate|strong="H8179", the young men|strong="H0970" from their musick|strong="H5058".
The joy|strong="H4885" of our heart|strong="H3820" is ceased|strong="H7673"; our dance|strong="H4234" is turned|strong="H2015" into mourning|strong="H0060".
The crown|strong="H5850" is fallen|strong="H5307" from our head|strong="H7218": woe|strong="H0188" unto us, that we have sinned|strong="H2398"!
For this our heart|strong="H3820" is faint|strong="H1739"; for these things our eyes|strong="H5869" are dim|strong="H2821".
Because of the mountain|strong="H2022" of Zion|strong="H6726", which is desolate|strong="H8074", the foxes|strong="H7776" walk|strong="H1980" upon it.
Thou, O \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, remainest|strong="H3427" for ever|strong="H5769"; thy throne|strong="H3678" from generation|strong="H1755" to generation|strong="H1755".
Wherefore dost thou forget|strong="H7911" us for ever|strong="H5331", and forsake|strong="H5800" us so long|strong="H0753" time|strong="H3117"?
Turn|strong="H7725" thou us unto thee, O \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, and we shall be turned|strong="H7725"; renew|strong="H2318" our days|strong="H3117" as of old|strong="H6924".
But thou hast utterly|strong="H3988" rejected|strong="H3988" us; thou art very|strong="H3966" wroth|strong="H7107" against us.
