2 And they spake|strong="H1696" unto them at Shiloh|strong="H7887" in the land|strong="H0776" of Canaan|strong="H3667", saying|strong="H0559", The \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* commanded|strong="H6680" by the hand|strong="H3027" of Moses|strong="H4872" to give|strong="H5414" us cities|strong="H5892" to dwell in|strong="H3427", with the suburbs|strong="H4054" thereof for our cattle|strong="H0929".
3 And the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478" gave|strong="H5414" unto the Levites|strong="H3881" out of their inheritance|strong="H5159", at the commandment|strong="H6310" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, these cities|strong="H5892" and their suburbs|strong="H4054".
4 And the lot|strong="H1486" came out|strong="H3318" for the families|strong="H4940" of the Kohathites|strong="H6956": and the children|strong="H1121" of Aaron|strong="H0175" the priest|strong="H3548", which were of the Levites|strong="H3881", had by lot|strong="H1486" out of the tribe|strong="H4294" of Judah|strong="H3063", and out of the tribe|strong="H4294" of Simeon|strong="H8099", and out of the tribe|strong="H4294" of Benjamin|strong="H1144", thirteen|strong="H7969" cities|strong="H5892".
5 And the rest|strong="H3498" of the children|strong="H1121" of Kohath|strong="H6955" had by lot|strong="H1486" out of the families|strong="H4940" of the tribe|strong="H4294" of Ephraim|strong="H0669", and out of the tribe|strong="H4294" of Dan|strong="H1835", and out of the half|strong="H2677" tribe|strong="H4294" of Manasseh|strong="H4519", ten|strong="H6235" cities|strong="H5892".
6 And the children|strong="H1121" of Gershon|strong="H1648" had by lot|strong="H1486" out of the families|strong="H4940" of the tribe|strong="H4294" of Issachar|strong="H3485", and out of the tribe|strong="H4294" of Asher|strong="H0836", and out of the tribe|strong="H4294" of Naphtali|strong="H5321", and out of the half|strong="H2677" tribe|strong="H4294" of Manasseh|strong="H4519" in Bashan|strong="H1316", thirteen|strong="H7969" cities|strong="H5892".
7 The children|strong="H1121" of Merari|strong="H4847" by their families|strong="H4940" had out of the tribe|strong="H4294" of Reuben|strong="H7205", and out of the tribe|strong="H4294" of Gad|strong="H1410", and out of the tribe|strong="H4294" of Zebulun|strong="H2074", twelve|strong="H8147" cities|strong="H5892".
8 And the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478" gave|strong="H5414" by lot|strong="H1486" unto the Levites|strong="H3881" these cities|strong="H5892" with their suburbs|strong="H4054", as the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* commanded|strong="H6680" by the hand|strong="H3027" of Moses|strong="H4872".
9 And they gave|strong="H5414" out of the tribe|strong="H4294" of the children|strong="H1121" of Judah|strong="H3063", and out of the tribe|strong="H4294" of the children|strong="H1121" of Simeon|strong="H8095", these cities|strong="H5892" which are here mentioned|strong="H7121" by name|strong="H8034",
10 Which the children|strong="H1121" of Aaron|strong="H0175", being of the families|strong="H4940" of the Kohathites|strong="H6956", who were of the children|strong="H1121" of Levi|strong="H3878", had: for theirs was the first|strong="H7223" lot|strong="H1486".
11 And they gave|strong="H5414" them the city|strong="H7151" of Arba|strong="H0704" the father|strong="H0001" of Anak|strong="H6061", which city is Hebron|strong="H2275", in the hill|strong="H2022" country of Judah|strong="H3063", with the suburbs|strong="H4054" thereof round about|strong="H5439" it.
12 But the fields|strong="H7704" of the city|strong="H5892", and the villages|strong="H2691" thereof, gave|strong="H5414" they to Caleb|strong="H3612" the son|strong="H1121" of Jephunneh|strong="H3312" for his possession|strong="H0272".
13 Thus they gave|strong="H5414" to the children|strong="H1121" of Aaron|strong="H0175" the priest|strong="H3548" Hebron|strong="H2275" with her suburbs|strong="H4054", to be a city|strong="H5892" of refuge|strong="H4733" for the slayer|strong="H7523"; and Libnah|strong="H3841" with her suburbs|strong="H4054",
14 And Jattir|strong="H3492" with her suburbs|strong="H4054", and Eshtemoa|strong="H0851" with her suburbs|strong="H4054",
15 And Holon|strong="H2473" with her suburbs|strong="H4054", and Debir|strong="H1688" with her suburbs|strong="H4054",

17 And out of the tribe|strong="H4294" of Benjamin|strong="H1144", Gibeon|strong="H1391" with her suburbs|strong="H4054", Geba|strong="H1387" with her suburbs|strong="H4054",
18 Anathoth|strong="H6068" with her suburbs|strong="H4054", and Almon|strong="H5960" with her suburbs|strong="H4054"; four|strong="H0702" cities|strong="H5892".
19 All the cities|strong="H5892" of the children|strong="H1121" of Aaron|strong="H0175", the priests|strong="H3548", were thirteen|strong="H7969" cities|strong="H5892" with their suburbs|strong="H4054".
20 And the families|strong="H4940" of the children|strong="H1121" of Kohath|strong="H6955", the Levites|strong="H3881" which remained|strong="H3498" of the children|strong="H1121" of Kohath|strong="H6955", even they had the cities|strong="H5892" of their lot|strong="H1486" out of the tribe|strong="H4294" of Ephraim|strong="H0669".
21 For they gave|strong="H5414" them Shechem|strong="H7927" with her suburbs|strong="H4054" in mount|strong="H2022" Ephraim|strong="H0669", to be a city|strong="H5892" of refuge|strong="H4733" for the slayer|strong="H7523"; and Gezer|strong="H1507" with her suburbs|strong="H4054",
22 And Kibzaim|strong="H6911" with her suburbs|strong="H4054", and Beth-horon|strong="H1032" with her suburbs|strong="H4054"; four|strong="H0702" cities|strong="H5892".

40 So all the cities|strong="H5892" for the children|strong="H1121" of Merari|strong="H4847" by their families|strong="H4940", which were remaining|strong="H3498" of the families|strong="H4940" of the Levites|strong="H3881", were by their lot|strong="H1486" twelve|strong="H8147" cities|strong="H5892".
41 All the cities|strong="H5892" of the Levites|strong="H3881" within|strong="H8432" the possession|strong="H0272" of the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478" were forty|strong="H0705" and eight|strong="H8083" cities|strong="H5892" with their suburbs|strong="H4054".
42 These cities|strong="H5892" were every one|strong="H5892" with their suburbs|strong="H4054" round about|strong="H5439" them: thus were all these cities|strong="H5892".
43 And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* gave|strong="H5414" unto Israel|strong="H3478" all the land|strong="H0776" which he sware|strong="H7650" to give|strong="H5414" unto their fathers|strong="H0001"; and they possessed|strong="H3423" it, and dwelt|strong="H3427" therein.
44 And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* gave them rest|strong="H5117" round about|strong="H5439", according to all that he sware|strong="H7650" unto their fathers|strong="H0001": and there stood|strong="H5975" not a man|strong="H0376" of all their enemies|strong="H0341" before|strong="H6440" them; the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* delivered|strong="H5414" all their enemies|strong="H0341" into their hand|strong="H3027".
45 There failed|strong="H5307" not ought|strong="H1697" of any good|strong="H2896" thing|strong="H1697" which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* had spoken|strong="H1696" unto the house|strong="H1004" of Israel|strong="H3478"; all came to pass|strong="H0935".
