1 Moreover the word|strong="H1697" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* came unto Jeremiah|strong="H3414" the second|strong="H8145" time, while he was yet shut up|strong="H6113" in the court|strong="H2691" of the prison|strong="H4307", saying|strong="H0559",
1 Enquanto Jeremias estava preso no pátio da guarda, o S enhor lhe deu outra mensagem:
2 Thus saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* the maker|strong="H6213" thereof, the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* that formed|strong="H3335" it, to establish|strong="H3559" it; the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* is his name|strong="H8034";
2 “Assim diz o S enhor , o S enhor que fez a terra, que a formou e a estabeleceu; o S enhor é seu nome:
3 Call|strong="H7121" unto me, and I will answer|strong="H6030" thee, and shew|strong="H5046" thee great|strong="H1419" and mighty things|strong="H1219", which thou knowest|strong="H3045" not.
3 Pergunte-me e eu lhe contarei coisas maravilhosas, segredos que você não sabe, a respeito do que está por vir.
4 For thus saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, the God|strong="H0430" of Israel|strong="H3478", concerning the houses|strong="H1004" of this city|strong="H5892", and concerning the houses|strong="H1004" of the kings|strong="H4428" of Judah|strong="H3063", which are thrown down|strong="H5422" by the mounts|strong="H5550", and by the sword|strong="H2719";
4 Pois assim diz o S enhor , o Deus de Israel: Vocês derrubaram as casas desta cidade e até o palácio do rei a fim de obter material para fortalecer os muros contra as rampas de cerco e as espadas dos inimigos.
5 They come|strong="H0935" to fight|strong="H3898" with the Chaldeans|strong="H3778", but it is to fill|strong="H4390" them with the dead bodies|strong="H6297" of men|strong="H0120", whom I have slain|strong="H5221" in mine anger|strong="H0639" and in my fury|strong="H2534", and for all whose wickedness|strong="H7451" I have hid|strong="H5641" my face|strong="H6440" from this city|strong="H5892".
5 Esperam lutar contra os babilônios, mas os homens desta cidade já estão praticamente mortos, pois, em minha ira ardente, decidi destruí-los. Abandonei-os por causa de toda a sua maldade.
6 Behold, I will bring|strong="H5927" it health|strong="H0724" and cure|strong="H4832", and I will cure|strong="H7495" them, and will reveal|strong="H1540" unto them the abundance|strong="H6283" of peace|strong="H7965" and truth|strong="H0571".
6 “Virá o dia, porém, em que curarei as feridas de Jerusalém e lhe darei prosperidade e paz verdadeira.
7 And I will cause the captivity|strong="H7622" of Judah|strong="H3063" and the captivity|strong="H7622" of Israel|strong="H3478" to return|strong="H7725", and will build|strong="H1129" them, as at the first|strong="H7223".
7 Restaurarei o povo de Judá e de Israel à sua terra e reconstruirei suas cidades.
8 And I will cleanse|strong="H2891" them from all their iniquity|strong="H5771", whereby they have sinned|strong="H2398" against me; and I will pardon|strong="H5545" all their iniquities|strong="H5771", whereby they have sinned|strong="H2398", and whereby they have transgressed|strong="H6586" against me.
8 Eu as purificarei de suas maldades contra mim e perdoarei todos os seus pecados de rebeldia.
9 And it shall be to me a name|strong="H8034" of joy|strong="H8342", a praise|strong="H8416" and an honour|strong="H8597" before all the nations|strong="H1471" of the earth|strong="H0776", which shall hear|strong="H8085" all the good|strong="H2896" that I do|strong="H6213" unto them: and they shall fear|strong="H6342" and tremble|strong="H7264" for all the goodness|strong="H2896" and for all the prosperity|strong="H7965" that I procure|strong="H6213" unto it.
9 Então esta cidade me trará louvor, glória e honra diante de todas as nações da terra! Os povos do mundo verão todo o bem que faço por meu povo e tremerão de espanto diante da paz e da prosperidade que lhes dou.
10 Thus saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*; Again there shall be heard|strong="H8085" in this place|strong="H4725", which ye say|strong="H0559" shall be desolate|strong="H2720" without man|strong="H0120" and without beast|strong="H0929", even in the cities|strong="H5892" of Judah|strong="H3063", and in the streets|strong="H2351" of Jerusalem|strong="H3389", that are desolate|strong="H8074", without man|strong="H0120", and without inhabitant|strong="H3427", and without beast|strong="H0929",
10 “Assim diz o S enhor : Vocês disseram: ‘Esta é uma terra desolada, onde não há mais pessoas nem animais’. Contudo, nas ruas vazias de Jerusalém e das outras cidades de Judá serão ouvidos novamente
11 The voice|strong="H6963" of joy|strong="H8342", and the voice|strong="H6963" of gladness|strong="H8057", the voice|strong="H6963" of the bridegroom|strong="H2860", and the voice|strong="H6963" of the bride|strong="H3618", the voice|strong="H6963" of them that shall say|strong="H0559", Praise|strong="H3034" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635": for the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* is good|strong="H2896"; for his mercy|strong="H2617" endureth for ever|strong="H5769": and of them that shall bring|strong="H0935" the sacrifice of praise|strong="H8426" into the house|strong="H1004" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*. For I will cause to return|strong="H7725" the captivity|strong="H7622" of the land|strong="H0776", as at the first|strong="H7223", saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
11 os sons de alegria e de riso. As vozes felizes de noivos e de noivas voltarão a ser ouvidas, e também os cânticos alegres dos que trazem ofertas de gratidão ao S enhor . Cantarão: ‘Deem graças ao S porque o S seu amor dura para sempre!’. Pois eu restaurarei a situação desta terra ao que era no passado, diz o S
12 Thus saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635"; Again in this place|strong="H4725", which is desolate|strong="H2720" without man|strong="H0120" and without beast|strong="H0929", and in all the cities|strong="H5892" thereof, shall be an habitation|strong="H5116" of shepherds|strong="H7462" causing their flocks|strong="H6629" to lie down|strong="H7257".
12 “Assim diz o S enhor dos Exércitos: Embora hoje esta terra esteja desolada e não tenha pessoas nem animais, um dia voltará a ter pastos para os quais os pastores levarão seus rebanhos.
13 In the cities|strong="H5892" of the mountains|strong="H2022", in the cities|strong="H5892" of the vale|strong="H8219", and in the cities|strong="H5892" of the south|strong="H5045", and in the land|strong="H0776" of Benjamin|strong="H1144", and in the places about|strong="H5439" Jerusalem|strong="H3389", and in the cities|strong="H5892" of Judah|strong="H3063", shall the flocks|strong="H6629" pass again|strong="H5674" under the hands|strong="H3027" of him that telleth|strong="H4487" them, saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
13 Os pastores voltarão a contar seus rebanhos nas cidades da região montanhosa, nas colinas de Judá, no Neguebe, na terra de Benjamim, nos arredores de Jerusalém e em todas as cidades de Judá. Eu, o S enhor , falei!
14 Behold, the days|strong="H3117" come|strong="H0935", saith|strong="H5002" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, that I will perform|strong="H6965" that good|strong="H2896" thing|strong="H1697" which I have promised|strong="H1696" unto the house|strong="H1004" of Israel|strong="H3478" and to the house|strong="H1004" of Judah|strong="H3063".
14 “Virá o dia, diz o S enhor , em que farei por Israel e por Judá todo o bem que lhes prometi.
15 In those days|strong="H3117", and at that time|strong="H6256", will I cause the Branch|strong="H6780" of righteousness|strong="H6666" to grow up|strong="H6779" unto David|strong="H1732"; and he shall execute|strong="H6213" judgment|strong="H4941" and righteousness|strong="H6666" in the land|strong="H0776".
15 “Naquele dia e naquele tempo, levantarei um Renovo, um descendente justo da linhagem do rei Davi. Ele fará o que é justo e certo em toda a terra.
16 In those days|strong="H3117" shall Judah|strong="H3063" be saved|strong="H3467", and Jerusalem|strong="H3389" shall dwell|strong="H7931" safely|strong="H0983": and this is the name wherewith she shall be called|strong="H7121", The LORD our righteousness|strong="H3072".
16 Nesse dia, Judá será salvo, e Jerusalém viverá em segurança. E este será seu nome: ‘O S
17 For thus saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*; David|strong="H1732" shall never|strong="H3808" want|strong="H3772" a man|strong="H0376" to sit|strong="H3427" upon the throne|strong="H3678" of the house|strong="H1004" of Israel|strong="H3478";
17 Porque assim diz o S enhor : Sempre haverá um descendente de Davi no trono de Israel.
18 Neither shall the priests|strong="H3548" the Levites|strong="H3881" want|strong="H3772" a man|strong="H0376" before|strong="H6440" me to offer|strong="H5927" burnt offerings|strong="H5930", and to kindle|strong="H6999" meat offerings|strong="H4503", and to do|strong="H6213" sacrifice|strong="H2077" continually|strong="H3117".
18 E sempre haverá sacerdotes levitas para me oferecer holocaustos, ofertas de cereais e sacrifícios”.
19 And the word|strong="H1697" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* came unto Jeremiah|strong="H3414", saying|strong="H0559",
19 Então Jeremias recebeu esta mensagem do S enhor :
20 Thus saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*; If ye can break|strong="H6565" my covenant|strong="H1285" of the day|strong="H3117", and my covenant|strong="H1285" of the night|strong="H3915", and that there should not be day|strong="H3119" and night|strong="H3915" in their season|strong="H6256";
20 “Assim diz o S enhor : Se alguém conseguisse anular minha aliança com o dia e com a noite, de modo que um não viesse depois do outro,
21 Then may also my covenant|strong="H1285" be broken|strong="H6565" with David|strong="H1732" my servant|strong="H5650", that he should not have a son|strong="H1121" to reign|strong="H4427" upon his throne|strong="H3678"; and with the Levites|strong="H3881" the priests|strong="H3548", my ministers|strong="H8334".
21 então se anularia minha aliança com meu servo Davi. Só então deixaria de haver um descendente para reinar em seu trono. O mesmo se aplica à minha aliança com os sacerdotes levitas que me servem.
22 As the host|strong="H6635" of heaven|strong="H8064" cannot be numbered|strong="H5608", neither the sand|strong="H2344" of the sea|strong="H3220" measured|strong="H4058": so will I multiply|strong="H7235" the seed|strong="H2233" of David|strong="H1732" my servant|strong="H5650", and the Levites|strong="H3881" that minister|strong="H8334" unto me.
22 Como não se pode contar as estrelas no céu nem medir a areia na beira do mar, assim também tornarei incontáveis os descendentes de meu servo Davi e os levitas que me servem”.
23 Moreover the word|strong="H1697" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* came to Jeremiah|strong="H3414", saying|strong="H0559",
23 O S enhor deu outra mensagem a Jeremias:
24 Considerest|strong="H7200" thou not what this people|strong="H5971" have spoken|strong="H1696", saying|strong="H0559", The two|strong="H8147" families|strong="H4940" which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* hath chosen|strong="H0977", he hath even cast them off|strong="H3988"? thus they have despised|strong="H5006" my people|strong="H5971", that they should be no more a nation|strong="H1471" before|strong="H6440" them.
24 “Você observou o que o povo anda dizendo? ‘O S enhor escolheu Judá e Israel e depois os abandonou!’ Desprezam meu povo e dizem que não deve ser considerada nação.
25 Thus saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*; If my covenant|strong="H1285" be not with day|strong="H3119" and night|strong="H3915", and if I have not appointed|strong="H7760" the ordinances|strong="H2708" of heaven|strong="H8064" and earth|strong="H0776";
25 Mas assim diz o S enhor : Como não anularei minhas leis que governam o dia e a noite, o céu e a terra, assim também não rejeitarei meu povo.
26 Then|strong="H1571" will I cast away|strong="H3988" the seed|strong="H2233" of Jacob|strong="H3290", and David|strong="H1732" my servant|strong="H5650", so that I will not take|strong="H3947" any of his seed|strong="H2233" to be rulers|strong="H4910" over the seed|strong="H2233" of Abraham|strong="H0085", Isaac|strong="H3446", and Jacob|strong="H3290": for I will cause their captivity|strong="H7622" to return|strong="H7725", and have mercy|strong="H7355" on them.
26 Jamais abandonarei os descendentes de Jacó e de meu servo Davi, nem mudarei o plano de que os descendentes de Davi governem os descendentes de Abraão, Isaque e Jacó. Pelo contrário, eu os restaurarei à sua terra e terei compaixão deles”.
