8 Thy wickedness|strong="H7562" may hurt a man|strong="H0376" as thou art; and thy righteousness|strong="H6666" may profit the son|strong="H1121" of man|strong="H0120".

14 “Jó, você diz que não pode ver a Deus; mas espere com paciência, pois a sua causa está com ele.
15 But now, because it is not so, he hath visited|strong="H6485" in his anger|strong="H0639"; yet he knoweth|strong="H3045" it not in great|strong="H3966" extremity|strong="H6580":
15 Você pensa que Deus não castiga, que ele não presta muita atenção no pecado.
16 Therefore doth Job|strong="H0347" open|strong="H6475" his mouth|strong="H6310" in vain|strong="H1892"; he multiplieth|strong="H3527" words|strong="H4405" without|strong="H1097" knowledge|strong="H1847".
16 Não adianta nada continuar o seu discurso; você fala muito, porém não sabe o que está dizendo.”
