1 Moreover Job|strong="H0347" continued|strong="H3254" his parable|strong="H4912", and said|strong="H0559",
1 E prosseguindo Jó em seu discurso, disse:
2 As God|strong="H0410" liveth|strong="H2416", who hath taken away|strong="H5493" my judgment|strong="H4941"; and the Almighty|strong="H7706", who hath vexed|strong="H4843" my soul|strong="H5315";
2 Vive Deus, que desviou a minha causa, e o Todo-Poderoso, que amargurou a minha alma.
3 All the while|strong="H5750" my breath|strong="H5397" is in me, and the spirit|strong="H7307" of God|strong="H0433" is in my nostrils|strong="H0639";
3 Que, enquanto em mim houver alento, e o sopro de Deus nas minhas narinas,
4 My lips|strong="H8193" shall not speak|strong="H1696" wickedness|strong="H5766", nor my tongue|strong="H3956" utter|strong="H1897" deceit|strong="H7423".
4 Não falarão os meus lábios iniqüidade, nem a minha língua pronunciará engano.
5 God forbid|strong="H2486" that I should justify|strong="H6663" you: till I die|strong="H1478" I will not remove|strong="H5493" mine integrity|strong="H8538" from me.
5 Longe de mim que eu vos justifique; até que eu expire, nunca apartarei de mim a minha integridade.
6 My righteousness|strong="H6666" I hold|strong="H2388" fast, and will not let it go|strong="H7503": my heart|strong="H3824" shall not reproach|strong="H2778" me so long as I live|strong="H3117".
6 À minha justiça me apegarei e não a largarei; não me reprovará o meu coração em toda a minha vida.
7 Let mine enemy|strong="H0341" be as the wicked|strong="H7563", and he that riseth up|strong="H6965" against me as the unrighteous|strong="H5767".
7 Seja como o ímpio o meu inimigo, e como o perverso o que se levantar contra mim.
8 For what is the hope|strong="H8615" of the hypocrite|strong="H2611", though he hath gained|strong="H1214", when God|strong="H0433" taketh away|strong="H7953" his soul|strong="H5315"?
8 Porque qual será a esperança do hipócrita, havendo sido avaro, quando Deus lhe arrancar a sua alma?
9 Will God|strong="H0410" hear|strong="H8085" his cry|strong="H6818" when trouble|strong="H6869" cometh|strong="H0935" upon him?
9 Porventura Deus ouvirá o seu clamor, sobrevindo-lhe a tribulação?
10 Will he delight|strong="H6026" himself in the Almighty|strong="H7706"? will he always|strong="H6256" call|strong="H7121" upon God|strong="H0433"?
10 Deleitar-se-á no TodoPoderoso, ou invocará a Deus em todo o tempo?
11 I will teach|strong="H3384" you by the hand|strong="H3027" of God|strong="H0410": that which is with the Almighty|strong="H7706" will I not conceal|strong="H3582".
11 Ensinar-vos-ei acerca da mão de Deus, e não vos encobrirei o que está com o Todo-Poderoso.
12 Behold, all ye yourselves have seen|strong="H2372" it; why then are ye thus altogether|strong="H1892" vain|strong="H1891"?
12 Eis que todos vós já o vistes; por que, pois, vos desvaneceis na vossa vaidade?
13 This is the portion|strong="H2506" of a wicked|strong="H7563" man|strong="H0120" with God|strong="H0410", and the heritage|strong="H5159" of oppressors|strong="H6184", which they shall receive|strong="H3947" of the Almighty|strong="H7706".
13 Esta, pois, é a porção do homem ímpio da parte de Deus, e a herança, que os tiranos receberão do Todo-Poderoso.
14 If his children|strong="H1121" be multiplied|strong="H7235", it is for|strong="H3926" the sword|strong="H2719": and his offspring|strong="H6631" shall not be satisfied|strong="H7646" with bread|strong="H3899".
14 Se os seus filhos se multiplicarem, será para a espada, e a sua prole não se fartará de pão.
15 Those that remain|strong="H8300" of him shall be buried|strong="H6912" in death|strong="H4194": and his widows|strong="H0490" shall not weep|strong="H1058".
15 Os que ficarem dele na morte serão enterrados, e as suas viúvas não chorarão.
16 Though he heap up|strong="H6651" silver|strong="H3701" as the dust|strong="H6083", and prepare|strong="H3559" raiment|strong="H4403" as the clay|strong="H2563";
16 Se amontoar prata como pó, e aparelhar roupas como lodo,
17 He may prepare|strong="H3559" it, but the just|strong="H6662" shall put it on|strong="H3847", and the innocent|strong="H5355" shall divide|strong="H2505" the silver|strong="H3701".
17 Ele as aparelhará, porém o justo as vestirá, e o inocente repartirá a prata.
18 He buildeth|strong="H1129" his house|strong="H1004" as a moth|strong="H6211", and as a booth|strong="H5521" that the keeper|strong="H5341" maketh|strong="H6213".
18 E edificará a sua casa como a traça, e como o guarda que faz a cabana.
19 The rich|strong="H6223" man shall lie down|strong="H7901", but he shall not be gathered|strong="H0622": he openeth|strong="H6491" his eyes|strong="H5869", and he is not.
19 Rico se deita, e não será recolhido; abre os seus olhos, e nada terá.
20 Terrors|strong="H1091" take hold|strong="H5381" on him as waters|strong="H4325", a tempest|strong="H5492" stealeth him away|strong="H1589" in the night|strong="H3915".
20 Pavores se apoderam dele como águas; de noite o arrebata a tempestade.
21 The east|strong="H6921" wind carrieth him away|strong="H5375", and he departeth|strong="H3212": and as a storm hurleth|strong="H8175" him out of his place|strong="H4725".
21 O vento oriental leva-o, e ele se vai, e varre-o com ímpeto do seu lugar.
22 For God shall cast|strong="H7993" upon him, and not spare|strong="H2550": he would fain|strong="H1272" flee|strong="H1272" out of his hand|strong="H3027".
22 E Deus lançará isto sobre ele, e não lhe poupará; irá fugindo da sua mão.
23 Men shall clap|strong="H5606" their hands|strong="H3709" at him, and shall hiss|strong="H8319" him out of his place|strong="H4725".
23 Cada um baterá palmas contra ele e assobiará tirando-o do seu lugar.
