Woe|strong="H1945" to thee that spoilest|strong="H7703", and thou wast not spoiled|strong="H7703"; and dealest treacherously|strong="H0898", and they dealt not treacherously|strong="H0898" with thee! when thou shalt cease|strong="H8552" to spoil|strong="H7703", thou shalt be spoiled|strong="H7703"; and when thou shalt make an end|strong="H5239" to deal treacherously|strong="H0898", they shall deal treacherously|strong="H0898" with thee.
O \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, be gracious|strong="H2603" unto us; we have waited|strong="H6960" for thee: be thou their arm|strong="H2220" every morning|strong="H1242", our salvation|strong="H3444" also in the time|strong="H6256" of trouble|strong="H6869".
At the noise|strong="H6963" of the tumult|strong="H1995" the people|strong="H5971" fled|strong="H5074"; at the lifting up|strong="H7427" of thyself the nations|strong="H1471" were scattered|strong="H5310".
And your spoil|strong="H7998" shall be gathered|strong="H0622" like the gathering|strong="H0625" of the caterpiller|strong="H2625": as the running to and fro|strong="H4944" of locusts|strong="H1357" shall he run|strong="H8264" upon them.
The \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* is exalted|strong="H7682"; for he dwelleth|strong="H7931" on high|strong="H4791": he hath filled|strong="H4390" Zion|strong="H6726" with judgment|strong="H4941" and righteousness|strong="H6666".
And wisdom|strong="H2451" and knowledge|strong="H1847" shall be the stability|strong="H0530" of thy times|strong="H6256", and strength|strong="H2633" of salvation|strong="H3444": the fear|strong="H3374" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* is his treasure|strong="H0214".
Behold, their valiant ones|strong="H0691" shall cry|strong="H6817" without|strong="H2351": the ambassadors|strong="H4397" of peace|strong="H7965" shall weep|strong="H1058" bitterly|strong="H4751".
The highways|strong="H4546" lie waste|strong="H8074", the wayfaring man|strong="H5674" ceaseth|strong="H7673": he hath broken|strong="H6565" the covenant|strong="H1285", he hath despised|strong="H3988" the cities|strong="H5892", he regardeth|strong="H2803" no man|strong="H0582".
The earth|strong="H0776" mourneth|strong="H0056" and languisheth|strong="H0535": Lebanon|strong="H3844" is ashamed|strong="H2659" and hewn down|strong="H7060": Sharon|strong="H8289" is like a wilderness|strong="H6160"; and Bashan|strong="H1316" and Carmel|strong="H3760" shake off|strong="H5287" their fruits.
Now will I rise|strong="H6965", saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*; now will I be exalted|strong="H7426"; now will I lift up|strong="H5375" myself.
Ye shall conceive|strong="H2029" chaff|strong="H2842", ye shall bring forth|strong="H3205" stubble|strong="H7179": your breath|strong="H7307", as fire|strong="H0784", shall devour|strong="H0398" you.
And the people|strong="H5971" shall be as the burnings|strong="H4955" of lime|strong="H7875": as thorns|strong="H6975" cut up|strong="H3683" shall they be burned|strong="H3341" in the fire|strong="H0784".
Hear|strong="H8085", ye that are far off|strong="H7350", what I have done|strong="H6213"; and, ye that are near|strong="H7138", acknowledge|strong="H3045" my might|strong="H1369".
The sinners|strong="H2400" in Zion|strong="H6726" are afraid|strong="H6342"; fearfulness|strong="H7461" hath surprised|strong="H0270" the hypocrites|strong="H2611". Who among us shall dwell|strong="H1481" with the devouring|strong="H0398" fire|strong="H0784"? who among us shall dwell|strong="H1481" with everlasting|strong="H5769" burnings|strong="H4168"?
He that walketh|strong="H1980" righteously|strong="H6666", and speaketh|strong="H1696" uprightly|strong="H4339"; he that despiseth|strong="H3988" the gain|strong="H1215" of oppressions|strong="H4642", that shaketh|strong="H5287" his hands|strong="H3709" from holding|strong="H8551" of bribes|strong="H7810", that stoppeth|strong="H0331" his ears|strong="H0241" from hearing|strong="H8085" of blood|strong="H1818", and shutteth|strong="H6105" his eyes|strong="H5869" from seeing|strong="H7200" evil|strong="H7451";
He shall dwell|strong="H7931" on high|strong="H4791": his place of defence|strong="H4869" shall be the munitions|strong="H4679" of rocks|strong="H5553": bread|strong="H3899" shall be given|strong="H5414" him; his waters|strong="H4325" shall be sure|strong="H0539".
Thine eyes|strong="H5869" shall see|strong="H2372" the king|strong="H4428" in his beauty|strong="H3308": they shall behold|strong="H7200" the land|strong="H0776" that is very far off|strong="H4801".
Thine heart|strong="H3820" shall meditate|strong="H1897" terror|strong="H0367". Where is the scribe|strong="H5608"? where is the receiver|strong="H8254"? where is he that counted|strong="H5608" the towers|strong="H4026"?
Thou shalt not see|strong="H7200" a fierce|strong="H3267" people|strong="H5971", a people|strong="H5971" of a deeper|strong="H6012" speech|strong="H8193" than thou canst perceive|strong="H8085"; of a stammering|strong="H3932" tongue|strong="H3956", that thou canst not understand|strong="H0998".
Look|strong="H2372" upon Zion|strong="H6726", the city|strong="H7151" of our solemnities|strong="H4150": thine eyes|strong="H5869" shall see|strong="H7200" Jerusalem|strong="H3389" a quiet|strong="H7600" habitation|strong="H5116", a tabernacle|strong="H0168" that shall not be taken down|strong="H6813"; not one of the stakes|strong="H3489" thereof shall ever|strong="H5331" be removed|strong="H5265", neither shall any of the cords|strong="H2256" thereof be broken|strong="H5423".
But there the glorious|strong="H0117" \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* will be unto us a place|strong="H4725" of broad|strong="H7342" rivers|strong="H5104" and streams|strong="H2975"; wherein shall go|strong="H3212" no|strong="H1077" galley|strong="H0590" with oars|strong="H7885", neither shall gallant|strong="H0117" ship|strong="H6716" pass|strong="H5674" thereby.
For the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* is our judge|strong="H8199", the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* is our lawgiver|strong="H2710", the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* is our king|strong="H4428"; he will save|strong="H3467" us.
Thy tacklings|strong="H2256" are loosed|strong="H5203"; they could not well|strong="H3653" strengthen|strong="H2388" their mast|strong="H8650", they could not spread|strong="H6566" the sail|strong="H5251": then is the prey|strong="H5706" of a great|strong="H4766" spoil|strong="H7998" divided|strong="H2505"; the lame|strong="H6455" take|strong="H0962" the prey|strong="H0957".
And the inhabitant|strong="H7934" shall not say|strong="H0559", I am sick|strong="H2470": the people|strong="H5971" that dwell|strong="H3427" therein shall be forgiven|strong="H5375" their iniquity|strong="H5771".
