1 The burden|strong="H4853" of the desert|strong="H4057" of the sea|strong="H3220". As whirlwinds|strong="H5492" in the south|strong="H5045" pass|strong="H2498" through; so it cometh|strong="H0935" from the desert|strong="H4057", from a terrible|strong="H3372" land|strong="H0776".
1 Peso do deserto do mar. Como os tufões de vento do sul, que tudo assolam, ele virá do deserto, de uma terra horrível.
2 A grievous|strong="H7186" vision|strong="H2380" is declared|strong="H5046" unto me; the treacherous dealer|strong="H0898" dealeth treacherously|strong="H0898", and the spoiler|strong="H7703" spoileth|strong="H7703". Go up|strong="H5927", O Elam|strong="H5867": besiege|strong="H6696", O Media|strong="H4074"; all the sighing|strong="H0585" thereof have I made to cease|strong="H7673".
2 Dura visão me foi anunciada: o pérfido trata perfidamente, e o destruidor anda destruindo. Sobe, ó Elão, sitia, ó Média, que já fiz cessar todo o seu gemido.
3 Therefore are my loins|strong="H4975" filled|strong="H4390" with pain|strong="H2479": pangs|strong="H6735" have taken hold|strong="H0270" upon me, as the pangs|strong="H6735" of a woman that travaileth|strong="H3205": I was bowed down|strong="H5753" at the hearing|strong="H8085" of it; I was dismayed|strong="H0926" at the seeing|strong="H7200" of it.
3 Por isso os meus lombos estão cheios de angústia; dores se apoderam de mim como as dores daquela que dá à luz; fiquei abatido quando ouvi, e desanimado vendo isso.
4 My heart|strong="H3824" panted|strong="H8582", fearfulness|strong="H6427" affrighted|strong="H1204" me: the night|strong="H5399" of my pleasure|strong="H2837" hath he turned|strong="H7760" into fear|strong="H2731" unto me.
4 O meu coração se agita, o horror apavora-me; a noite que desejava, se me tornou em temor.
5 Prepare|strong="H6186" the table|strong="H7979", watch|strong="H6822" in the watchtower|strong="H6844", eat|strong="H0398", drink|strong="H8354": arise|strong="H6965", ye princes|strong="H8269", and anoint|strong="H4886" the shield|strong="H4043".
5 Põem-se a mesa, estão de atalaia, comem, bebem; levantai-vos, príncipes, e untai o escudo.
6 For thus hath the Lord|strong="H0136" said|strong="H0559" unto me, Go|strong="H3212", set|strong="H5975" a watchman|strong="H6822", let him declare|strong="H5046" what he seeth|strong="H7200".
6 Porque assim me disse o Senhor: Vai, põe uma sentinela, e ela que diga o que vir.
7 And he saw|strong="H7200" a chariot|strong="H7393" with a couple|strong="H6776" of horsemen|strong="H6571", a chariot|strong="H7393" of asses|strong="H2543", and a chariot|strong="H7393" of camels|strong="H1581"; and he hearkened|strong="H7181" diligently|strong="H7182" with much|strong="H7227" heed|strong="H7182":
7 E quando vir um carro com um par de cavaleiros, um carro com jumentos, e um carro com camelos, ela que observe atentamente com grande cuidado.
8 And he cried|strong="H7121", A lion|strong="H0738": My lord|strong="H0136", I stand|strong="H5975" continually|strong="H8548" upon the watchtower|strong="H4707" in the daytime|strong="H3119", and I am set|strong="H5324" in my ward|strong="H4931" whole nights|strong="H3915":
8 E clamou: Um leão, meu Senhor! Sobre a torre de vigia estou em pé continuamente de dia, e de guarda me ponho noites inteiras.
9 And, behold, here cometh|strong="H0935" a chariot|strong="H7393" of men|strong="H0376", with a couple|strong="H6776" of horsemen|strong="H6571". And he answered|strong="H6030" and said|strong="H0559", Babylon|strong="H0894" is fallen|strong="H5307", is fallen|strong="H5307"; and all the graven images|strong="H6456" of her gods|strong="H0430" he hath broken|strong="H7665" unto the ground|strong="H0776".
9 E eis agora vem um carro com homens, e um par de cavaleiros. Então respondeu e disse: Caída é babilônia, caída é! E todas as imagens de escultura dos seus deuses quebraram-se no chão.
10 O my threshing|strong="H4098", and the corn|strong="H1121" of my floor|strong="H1637": that which I have heard|strong="H8085" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635", the God|strong="H0430" of Israel|strong="H3478", have I declared|strong="H5046" unto you.
10 Ah, malhada minha, e trigo da minha eira! O que ouvi do Senhor dos Exércitos, Deus de Israel, isso vos anunciei.
11 The burden|strong="H4853" of Dumah|strong="H1746". He calleth|strong="H7121" to me out of Seir|strong="H8165", Watchman|strong="H8104", what of the night|strong="H3915"? Watchman|strong="H8104", what of the night|strong="H3915"?
11 Peso de Dumá. Gritam-me de Seir: Guarda, que houve de noite? Guarda, que houve de noite?
12 The watchman|strong="H8104" said|strong="H0559", The morning|strong="H1242" cometh|strong="H0857", and also the night|strong="H3915": if ye will enquire|strong="H1158", enquire|strong="H1158" ye: return|strong="H7725", come|strong="H0857".
12 E disse o guarda: Vem a manhã, e também a noite; se quereis perguntar, perguntai; voltai, vinde.
13 The burden|strong="H4853" upon Arabia|strong="H6152". In the forest|strong="H3293" in Arabia|strong="H6152" shall ye lodge|strong="H3885", O ye travelling companies|strong="H0736" of Dedanim|strong="H1720".
13 Peso contra Arábia. Nos bosques da Arábia passareis a noite, ó viandantes de Dedanim.
14 The inhabitants|strong="H3427" of the land|strong="H0776" of Tema|strong="H8485" brought|strong="H0857" water|strong="H4325" to him|strong="H7125" that was thirsty|strong="H6771", they prevented|strong="H6923" with their bread|strong="H3899" him that fled|strong="H5074".
14 Saí com água ao encontro dos sedentos; moradores da terra de Tema, saí com pão ao encontro dos fugitivos.
15 For they fled|strong="H5074" from|strong="H6440" the swords|strong="H2719", from|strong="H6440" the drawn|strong="H5203" sword|strong="H2719", and from|strong="H6440" the bent|strong="H1869" bow|strong="H7198", and from|strong="H6440" the grievousness|strong="H3514" of war|strong="H4421".
15 Porque fogem de diante das espadas, de diante da espada desembainhada, e de diante do arco armado, e de diante do peso da guerra.
16 For thus hath the Lord|strong="H0136" said|strong="H0559" unto me, Within a year|strong="H8141", according to the years|strong="H8141" of an hireling|strong="H7916", and all the glory|strong="H3519" of Kedar|strong="H6938" shall fail|strong="H3615":
16 Porque assim me disse o Senhor: Dentro de um ano, como os anos de jornaleiro, desaparecerá toda a glória de Quedar.
17 And the residue|strong="H7605" of the number|strong="H4557" of archers|strong="H7198", the mighty men|strong="H1368" of the children|strong="H1121" of Kedar|strong="H6938", shall be diminished|strong="H4591": for the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* God|strong="H0430" of Israel|strong="H3478" hath spoken|strong="H1696" it.
17 E os restantes do número dos flecheiros, os poderosos dos filhos de Quedar, serão diminuídos, porque assim disse o Senhor Deus de Israel.
