1 For the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* will have mercy|strong="H7355" on Jacob|strong="H3290", and will yet choose|strong="H0977" Israel|strong="H3478", and set|strong="H3240" them in their own land|strong="H0127": and the strangers|strong="H1616" shall be joined|strong="H3867" with them, and they shall cleave|strong="H5596" to the house|strong="H1004" of Jacob|strong="H3290".
1 Porque o Senhor se compadecerá de Jacó e voltará a escolher Israel, estabelecendo-os na sua própria terra. A eles se juntarão os estrangeiros, e estes farão parte da casa de Jacó.
2 And the people|strong="H5971" shall take|strong="H3947" them, and bring|strong="H0935" them to their place|strong="H4725": and the house|strong="H1004" of Israel|strong="H3478" shall possess|strong="H5157" them in the land|strong="H0127" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* for servants|strong="H5650" and handmaids|strong="H8198": and they shall take them captives|strong="H7617", whose captives|strong="H7617" they were; and they shall rule|strong="H7287" over their oppressors|strong="H5065".
2 Os povos os pegarão e os levarão aos lugares deles, e a casa de Israel terá esses povos por servos e servas, na terra do Senhor . Os israelitas terão como prisioneiros aqueles que os tinham aprisionado e dominarão os seus opressores.
3 And it shall come to pass in the day|strong="H3117" that the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall give thee rest|strong="H5117" from thy sorrow|strong="H6090", and from thy fear|strong="H7267", and from the hard|strong="H7186" bondage|strong="H5656" wherein thou wast made to serve|strong="H5647",
3 Povo de Israel, no dia em que Deus vier a dar-lhe descanso do sofrimento, das angústias e da dura servidão que lhe foi imposta,
4 That thou shalt take up|strong="H5375" this proverb|strong="H4912" against the king|strong="H4428" of Babylon|strong="H0894", and say|strong="H0559", How hath the oppressor|strong="H5065" ceased|strong="H7673"! the golden city|strong="H4062" ceased|strong="H7673"!
4 você proferirá esta sátira contra o rei da Babilônia: Como cessou o opressor! Como acabou a tirania!
5 The \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* hath broken|strong="H7665" the staff|strong="H4294" of the wicked|strong="H7563", and the sceptre|strong="H7626" of the rulers|strong="H4910".
5 O Senhor quebrou o bastão dos ímpios e o cetro dos dominadores,
6 He who smote|strong="H5221" the people|strong="H5971" in wrath|strong="H5678" with a continual|strong="H1115" stroke|strong="H4347", he that ruled|strong="H7287" the nations|strong="H1471" in anger|strong="H0639", is persecuted|strong="H4783", and none|strong="H1097" hindereth|strong="H2820".
6 que feriam os povos com furor, com golpes incessantes, e com ira dominavam as nações, com perseguição irreprimível.
7 The whole earth|strong="H0776" is at rest|strong="H5117", and is quiet|strong="H8252": they break forth|strong="H6476" into singing|strong="H7440".
7 Agora toda a terra descansa e está sossegada. Todos dão gritos de alegria.
8 Yea, the fir trees|strong="H1265" rejoice|strong="H8055" at thee, and the cedars|strong="H0730" of Lebanon|strong="H3844", saying, Since thou art laid down|strong="H7901", no feller|strong="H3772" is come up|strong="H5927" against us.
8 Até os ciprestes se alegram por causa de você, e os cedros do Líbano exclamam: “Desde que você caiu, ninguém mais vem para nos cortar.”
9 Hell|strong="H7585" from beneath is moved|strong="H7264" for thee to meet|strong="H7125" thee at thy coming|strong="H0935": it stirreth up|strong="H5782" the dead|strong="H7496" for thee, even all the chief ones|strong="H6260" of the earth|strong="H0776"; it hath raised up|strong="H6965" from their thrones|strong="H3678" all the kings|strong="H4428" of the nations|strong="H1471".
9 Lá embaixo, o mundo dos mortos se agita por causa de você, para sair ao seu encontro quando você chegar. Por sua causa, ele desperta as sombras e todos os príncipes da terra, e faz levantar dos seus tronos todos os reis das nações.
10 All they shall speak|strong="H6030" and say|strong="H0559" unto thee, Art thou also become weak|strong="H2470" as we? art thou become like|strong="H4911" unto us?
10 Todos estes começam a falar e se dirigem a você, dizendo: “Então também você enfraqueceu como nós? E você se tornou como um de nós?
11 Thy pomp|strong="H1347" is brought down|strong="H3381" to the grave|strong="H7585", and the noise|strong="H1998" of thy viols|strong="H5035": the worm|strong="H7415" is spread|strong="H3331" under thee, and the worms|strong="H8438" cover|strong="H4374" thee.
11 A sua soberba foi jogada no abismo, junto com o som das suas harpas. A sua cama é de larvas e os vermes são a sua coberta.”
12 How art thou fallen|strong="H5307" from heaven|strong="H8064", O Lucifer|strong="H1966", son|strong="H1121" of the morning|strong="H7837"! how art thou cut down|strong="H1438" to the ground|strong="H0776", which didst weaken|strong="H2522" the nations|strong="H1471"!
12 Veja como você caiu do céu, ó estrela da manhã, filho da alva! Veja como você foi lançado por terra, você que debilitava as nações!
13 For thou hast said|strong="H0559" in thine heart|strong="H3824", I will ascend|strong="H5927" into heaven|strong="H8064", I will exalt|strong="H7311" my throne|strong="H3678" above|strong="H4605" the stars|strong="H3556" of God|strong="H0410": I will sit|strong="H3427" also upon the mount|strong="H2022" of the congregation|strong="H4150", in the sides|strong="H3411" of the north|strong="H6828":
13 Você pensava assim: “Subirei ao céu, exaltarei o meu trono acima das estrelas e me assentarei no monte da congregação, nas extremidades do Norte.
14 I will ascend|strong="H5927" above the heights|strong="H1116" of the clouds|strong="H5645"; I will be like|strong="H1819" the most High|strong="H5945".
14 Subirei acima das mais altas nuvens e serei semelhante ao Altíssimo.”
15 Yet thou shalt be brought down|strong="H3381" to hell|strong="H7585", to the sides|strong="H3411" of the pit|strong="H0953".
15 Mas você descerá ao mundo dos mortos, no mais profundo do abismo.
16 They that see|strong="H7200" thee shall narrowly look|strong="H7688" upon thee, and consider|strong="H0995" thee, saying, Is this the man|strong="H0376" that made the earth|strong="H0776" to tremble|strong="H7264", that did shake|strong="H7493" kingdoms|strong="H4467";
16 Os que virem você olharão atentamente e perguntarão: “É este o homem que fazia a terra tremer e que abalava os reinos?
17 That made|strong="H7760" the world|strong="H8398" as a wilderness|strong="H4057", and destroyed|strong="H2040" the cities|strong="H5892" thereof; that opened|strong="H6605" not the house|strong="H1004" of his prisoners|strong="H0615"?
17 Que transformava o mundo num deserto e arrasava as suas cidades? Que não deixava os seus prisioneiros voltarem para casa?”
18 All the kings|strong="H4428" of the nations|strong="H1471", even all of them, lie|strong="H7901" in glory|strong="H3519", every one|strong="H0376" in his own house|strong="H1004".
18 Todos os reis das nações, sim, todos jazem com honra, cada um em seu túmulo.
19 But thou art cast out|strong="H7993" of thy grave|strong="H6913" like an abominable|strong="H8581" branch|strong="H5342", and as the raiment|strong="H3830" of those that are slain|strong="H2026", thrust through|strong="H2944" with a sword|strong="H2719", that go down|strong="H3381" to the stones|strong="H0068" of the pit|strong="H0953"; as a carcase|strong="H6297" trodden under feet|strong="H0947".
19 Mas você é lançado fora da sua sepultura, como um renovo abominável, coberto de mortos traspassados à espada e que descem à cova de pedras, como um cadáver pisoteado.
20 Thou shalt not be joined|strong="H3161" with them in burial|strong="H6900", because thou hast destroyed|strong="H7843" thy land|strong="H0776", and slain|strong="H2026" thy people|strong="H5971": the seed|strong="H2233" of evildoers|strong="H7489" shall never|strong="H5769" be renowned|strong="H7121".
20 Você não se reunirá com eles na sepultura, porque você destruiu a sua própria terra e matou o seu próprio povo. A descendência dos malfeitores jamais será nomeada.
21 Prepare|strong="H3559" slaughter|strong="H4293" for his children|strong="H1121" for the iniquity|strong="H5771" of their fathers|strong="H0001"; that they do not|strong="H1077" rise|strong="H6965", nor possess|strong="H3423" the land|strong="H0776", nor fill|strong="H4390" the face|strong="H6440" of the world|strong="H8398" with cities|strong="H6145".
21 Preparem a matança dos filhos dele por causa da maldade de seus pais, para que esses não se levantem, tomem posse da terra, e encham o mundo de cidades.
22 For I will rise up|strong="H6965" against them, saith|strong="H5002" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635", and cut off|strong="H3772" from Babylon|strong="H0894" the name|strong="H8034", and remnant|strong="H7605", and son|strong="H5209", and nephew|strong="H5220", saith|strong="H5002" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
22 — Eu me levantarei contra eles, diz o Senhor dos Exércitos. Acabarei com o nome e os sobreviventes da Babilônia, com os seus descendentes e a sua posteridade, diz o Senhor .
23 I will also make|strong="H7760" it a possession|strong="H4180" for the bittern|strong="H7090", and pools|strong="H0098" of water|strong="H4325": and I will sweep|strong="H2894" it with the besom|strong="H4292" of destruction|strong="H8045", saith|strong="H5002" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635".
23 Farei dela a habitação de ouriços e um lugar de pântanos. Vou varrê-la com a vassoura da destruição, diz o Senhor dos Exércitos.
24 The \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635" hath sworn|strong="H7650", saying|strong="H0559", Surely as I have thought|strong="H1819", so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed|strong="H3289", so shall it stand|strong="H6965":
24 O Senhor dos Exércitos jurou, dizendo: “Como pensei, assim será, e, como determinei, assim acontecerá.
25 That I will break|strong="H7665" the Assyrian|strong="H0804" in my land|strong="H0776", and upon my mountains|strong="H2022" tread him under foot|strong="H0947": then shall his yoke|strong="H5923" depart|strong="H5493" from off them, and his burden|strong="H5448" depart|strong="H5493" from off their shoulders|strong="H7926".
25 Esmagarei a Assíria na minha terra e nas minhas montanhas a pisarei, para que o seu jugo se afaste de Israel, e a sua carga se desvie dos ombros dele.
26 This is the purpose|strong="H6098" that is purposed|strong="H3289" upon the whole earth|strong="H0776": and this is the hand|strong="H3027" that is stretched out|strong="H5186" upon all the nations|strong="H1471".
26 Este é o plano que foi elaborado para toda a terra; e esta é a mão que está estendida sobre todas as nações.”
27 For the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* of hosts|strong="H6635" hath purposed|strong="H3289", and who shall disannul|strong="H6565" it? and his hand|strong="H3027" is stretched out|strong="H5186", and who shall turn it back|strong="H7725"?
27 Pois, se o Senhor dos Exércitos o determinou, quem poderá invalidá-lo? Se a mão dele está estendida, quem a fará voltar atrás?
28 In the year|strong="H8141" that king|strong="H4428" Ahaz|strong="H0271" died|strong="H4194" was this burden|strong="H4853".
28 No ano em que o rei Acaz morreu, foi pronunciada esta sentença:
29 Rejoice|strong="H8055" not thou, whole Palestina|strong="H6429", because the rod|strong="H7626" of him that smote|strong="H5221" thee is broken|strong="H7665": for out of the serpent’s|strong="H5175" root|strong="H8328" shall come forth|strong="H3318" a cockatrice|strong="H6848", and his fruit|strong="H6529" shall be a fiery|strong="H8314" flying|strong="H5774" serpent|strong="H8314".
29 “Não se alegrem, todos vocês da Filístia, por estar quebrada a vara que os feria. Porque da raiz da cobra sairá uma víbora, e o seu fruto será uma serpente voadora.
30 And the firstborn|strong="H1060" of the poor|strong="H1800" shall feed|strong="H7462", and the needy|strong="H0034" shall lie down|strong="H7257" in safety|strong="H0983": and I will kill|strong="H4191" thy root|strong="H8328" with famine|strong="H7458", and he shall slay|strong="H2026" thy remnant|strong="H7611".
30 Os primogênitos dos pobres serão apascentados, e os necessitados se deitarão em segurança. Porém farei morrer de fome a sua raiz, ó Filístia, e os seus sobreviventes serão mortos.
31 Howl|strong="H3213", O gate|strong="H8179"; cry|strong="H2199", O city|strong="H5892"; thou, whole Palestina|strong="H6429", art dissolved|strong="H4127": for there shall come|strong="H0935" from the north|strong="H6828" a smoke|strong="H6227", and none shall be alone|strong="H0909" in his appointed times|strong="H4151".
31 Uive, ó portão! Grite, ó cidade! Todos vocês da Filístia, tremam de medo! Porque do Norte vem fumaça, e ninguém há que se afaste das suas fileiras.”
32 What shall one then answer|strong="H6030" the messengers|strong="H4397" of the nation|strong="H1471"? That the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* hath founded|strong="H3245" Zion|strong="H6726", and the poor|strong="H6041" of his people|strong="H5971" shall trust|strong="H2620" in it.
32 Que resposta se dará, então, aos mensageiros daquele povo? “O e nela os aflitos do seu povo encontram refúgio.”
