Isaías 11

King James (Authorized) Version (ENG-KJV2006)

And there shall come forth|strong="H3318" a rod|strong="H2415" out of the stem|strong="H1503" of Jesse|strong="H3448", and a Branch|strong="H5342" shall grow|strong="H6509" out of his roots|strong="H8328":

And the spirit|strong="H7307" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall rest|strong="H5117" upon him, the spirit|strong="H7307" of wisdom|strong="H2451" and understanding|strong="H0998", the spirit|strong="H7307" of counsel|strong="H6098" and might|strong="H1369", the spirit|strong="H7307" of knowledge|strong="H1847" and of the fear|strong="H3374" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*;

And shall make him of quick understanding|strong="H7306" in the fear|strong="H3374" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*: and he shall not judge|strong="H8199" after the sight|strong="H4758" of his eyes|strong="H5869", neither reprove|strong="H3198" after the hearing|strong="H4926" of his ears|strong="H0241":

But with righteousness|strong="H6664" shall he judge|strong="H8199" the poor|strong="H1800", and reprove|strong="H3198" with equity|strong="H4334" for the meek|strong="H6035" of the earth|strong="H0776": and he shall smite|strong="H5221" the earth|strong="H0776" with the rod|strong="H7626" of his mouth|strong="H6310", and with the breath|strong="H7307" of his lips|strong="H8193" shall he slay|strong="H4191" the wicked|strong="H7563".

And righteousness|strong="H6664" shall be the girdle|strong="H0232" of his loins|strong="H4975", and faithfulness|strong="H0530" the girdle|strong="H0232" of his reins|strong="H2504".

The wolf|strong="H2061" also shall dwell|strong="H1481" with the lamb|strong="H3532", and the leopard|strong="H5246" shall lie down|strong="H7257" with the kid|strong="H1423"; and the calf|strong="H5695" and the young lion|strong="H3715" and the fatling|strong="H4806" together|strong="H3162"; and a little|strong="H6996" child|strong="H5288" shall lead|strong="H5090" them.

And the cow|strong="H6510" and the bear|strong="H1677" shall feed|strong="H7462"; their young ones|strong="H3206" shall lie down|strong="H7257" together|strong="H3162": and the lion|strong="H0738" shall eat|strong="H0398" straw|strong="H8401" like the ox|strong="H1241".

And the sucking child|strong="H3243" shall play|strong="H8173" on the hole|strong="H2352" of the asp|strong="H6620", and the weaned child|strong="H1580" shall put|strong="H1911" his hand|strong="H3027" on the cockatrice’|strong="H6848" den|strong="H3975".

They shall not hurt|strong="H7489" nor destroy|strong="H7843" in all my holy|strong="H6944" mountain|strong="H2022": for the earth|strong="H0776" shall be full|strong="H4390" of the knowledge|strong="H1844" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, as the waters|strong="H4325" cover|strong="H3680" the sea|strong="H3220".

And in that day|strong="H3117" there shall be a root|strong="H8328" of Jesse|strong="H3448", which shall stand|strong="H5975" for an ensign|strong="H5251" of the people|strong="H5971"; to it shall the Gentiles|strong="H1471" seek|strong="H1875": and his rest|strong="H4496" shall be glorious|strong="H3519".

And it shall come to pass in that day|strong="H3117", that the Lord|strong="H0136" shall set|strong="H3254" his hand|strong="H3027" again|strong="H3254" the second time|strong="H8145" to recover|strong="H7069" the remnant|strong="H7605" of his people|strong="H5971", which shall be left|strong="H7604", from Assyria|strong="H0804", and from Egypt|strong="H4714", and from Pathros|strong="H6624", and from Cush|strong="H3568", and from Elam|strong="H5867", and from Shinar|strong="H8152", and from Hamath|strong="H2574", and from the islands|strong="H0339" of the sea|strong="H3220".

And he shall set up|strong="H5375" an ensign|strong="H5251" for the nations|strong="H1471", and shall assemble|strong="H0622" the outcasts|strong="H1760" of Israel|strong="H3478", and gather together|strong="H6908" the dispersed|strong="H5310" of Judah|strong="H3063" from the four|strong="H0702" corners|strong="H3671" of the earth|strong="H0776".

The envy|strong="H7068" also of Ephraim|strong="H0669" shall depart|strong="H5493", and the adversaries|strong="H6887" of Judah|strong="H3063" shall be cut off|strong="H3772": Ephraim|strong="H0669" shall not envy|strong="H7065" Judah|strong="H3063", and Judah|strong="H3063" shall not vex|strong="H6887" Ephraim|strong="H0669".

But they shall fly|strong="H5774" upon the shoulders|strong="H3802" of the Philistines|strong="H6430" toward the west|strong="H3220"; they shall spoil|strong="H0962" them|strong="H1121" of the east|strong="H6924" together|strong="H3162": they shall lay|strong="H4916" their hand|strong="H3027" upon Edom|strong="H0123" and Moab|strong="H4124"; and the children|strong="H1121" of Ammon|strong="H5983" shall obey|strong="H4928" them.

And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall utterly destroy|strong="H2763" the tongue|strong="H3956" of the Egyptian|strong="H4714" sea|strong="H3220"; and with his mighty|strong="H5868" wind|strong="H7307" shall he shake|strong="H5130" his hand|strong="H3027" over the river|strong="H5104", and shall smite|strong="H5221" it in the seven|strong="H7651" streams|strong="H5158", and make men go over|strong="H1869" dryshod|strong="H5275".

And there shall be an highway|strong="H4546" for the remnant|strong="H7605" of his people|strong="H5971", which|strong="H0834" shall be left|strong="H7604", from Assyria|strong="H0804"; like as it was to Israel|strong="H3478" in the day|strong="H3117" that he came up|strong="H5927" out of the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714".
