1 Afterward he brought|strong="H3212" me to the gate|strong="H8179", even the gate|strong="H8179" that looketh|strong="H6437" toward|strong="H1870" the east|strong="H6921":
2 And, behold, the glory|strong="H3519" of the God|strong="H0430" of Israel|strong="H3478" came|strong="H0935" from the way|strong="H1870" of the east|strong="H6921": and his voice|strong="H6963" was like a noise|strong="H6963" of many|strong="H7227" waters|strong="H4325": and the earth|strong="H0776" shined|strong="H0215" with his glory|strong="H3519".
3 And it was according to the appearance|strong="H4758" of the vision|strong="H4758" which I saw|strong="H7200", even according to the vision|strong="H4758" that I saw|strong="H7200" when I came|strong="H0935" to destroy|strong="H7843" the city|strong="H5892": and the visions|strong="H4759" were like the vision|strong="H4758" that I saw|strong="H7200" by the river|strong="H5104" Chebar|strong="H3529"; and I fell|strong="H5307" upon my face|strong="H6440".
4 And the glory|strong="H3519" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* came|strong="H0935" into the house|strong="H1004" by the way|strong="H1870" of the gate|strong="H8179" whose prospect|strong="H6440" is toward|strong="H1870" the east|strong="H6921".
5 So the spirit|strong="H7307" took me up|strong="H5375", and brought|strong="H0935" me into the inner|strong="H6442" court|strong="H2691"; and, behold, the glory|strong="H3519" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* filled|strong="H4390" the house|strong="H1004".
6 And I heard|strong="H8085" him speaking|strong="H1696" unto me out of the house|strong="H1004"; and the man|strong="H0376" stood|strong="H5975" by me|strong="H0681".
7 And he said|strong="H0559" unto me, Son|strong="H1121" of man|strong="H0120", the place|strong="H4725" of my throne|strong="H3678", and the place|strong="H4725" of the soles|strong="H3709" of my feet|strong="H7272", where I will dwell|strong="H7931" in the midst|strong="H8432" of the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478" for ever|strong="H5769", and my holy|strong="H6944" name|strong="H8034", shall the house|strong="H1004" of Israel|strong="H3478" no more defile|strong="H2930", neither they, nor their kings|strong="H4428", by their whoredom|strong="H2184", nor by the carcases|strong="H6297" of their kings|strong="H4428" in their high places|strong="H1116".
8 In their setting|strong="H5414" of their threshold|strong="H5592" by my thresholds|strong="H5592", and their post|strong="H4201" by|strong="H0681" my posts|strong="H4201", and the wall|strong="H7023" between me and them, they have even defiled|strong="H2930" my holy|strong="H6944" name|strong="H8034" by their abominations|strong="H8441" that they have committed|strong="H6213": wherefore I have consumed|strong="H3615" them in mine anger|strong="H0639".
9 Now let them put away|strong="H7368" their whoredom|strong="H2184", and the carcases|strong="H6297" of their kings|strong="H4428", far|strong="H7368" from me, and I will dwell|strong="H7931" in the midst|strong="H8432" of them for ever|strong="H5769".
10 Thou son|strong="H1121" of man|strong="H0120", shew|strong="H5046" the house|strong="H1004" to the house|strong="H1004" of Israel|strong="H3478", that they may be ashamed|strong="H3637" of their iniquities|strong="H5771": and let them measure|strong="H4058" the pattern|strong="H8508".
11 And if they be ashamed|strong="H3637" of all that they have done|strong="H6213", shew|strong="H3045" them the form|strong="H6699" of the house|strong="H1004", and the fashion|strong="H8498" thereof, and the goings out|strong="H4161" thereof, and the comings|strong="H4126" in thereof, and all the forms|strong="H6699" thereof, and all the ordinances|strong="H2708" thereof, and all the forms|strong="H6699" thereof, and all the laws|strong="H8451" thereof: and write|strong="H3789" it in their sight|strong="H5869", that they may keep|strong="H8104" the whole form|strong="H6699" thereof, and all the ordinances|strong="H2708" thereof, and do|strong="H6213" them.
12 This is the law|strong="H8451" of the house|strong="H1004"; Upon the top|strong="H7218" of the mountain|strong="H2022" the whole limit|strong="H1366" thereof round about|strong="H5439" shall be most|strong="H6944" holy|strong="H6944". Behold, this is the law|strong="H8451" of the house|strong="H1004".
13 And these are the measures|strong="H4060" of the altar|strong="H4196" after the cubits|strong="H0520": The cubit|strong="H0520" is a cubit|strong="H0520" and an hand breadth|strong="H2948"; even the bottom|strong="H2436" shall be a cubit|strong="H0520", and the breadth|strong="H7341" a cubit|strong="H0520", and the border|strong="H1366" thereof by the edge|strong="H8193" thereof round about|strong="H5439" shall be a|strong="H0259" span|strong="H2239": and this shall be the higher place|strong="H1354" of the altar|strong="H4196".
14 And from the bottom|strong="H2436" upon the ground|strong="H0776" even to the lower|strong="H8481" settle|strong="H5835" shall be two|strong="H8147" cubits|strong="H0520", and the breadth|strong="H7341" one|strong="H0259" cubit|strong="H0520"; and from the lesser|strong="H6996" settle|strong="H5835" even to the greater|strong="H1419" settle|strong="H5835" shall be four|strong="H0702" cubits|strong="H0520", and the breadth|strong="H7341" one cubit|strong="H0520".
15 So the altar|strong="H0741" shall be four|strong="H0702" cubits|strong="H0520"; and from the altar|strong="H0741" and upward|strong="H4605" shall be four|strong="H0702" horns|strong="H7161".
16 And the altar|strong="H0741" shall be twelve|strong="H8147" cubits long|strong="H0753", twelve|strong="H8147" broad|strong="H7341", square|strong="H7251" in the four|strong="H0702" squares|strong="H7253" thereof.
17 And the settle|strong="H5835" shall be fourteen|strong="H0702" cubits long|strong="H0753" and fourteen|strong="H0702" broad|strong="H7341" in the four|strong="H0702" squares|strong="H7253" thereof; and the border|strong="H1366" about|strong="H5439" it shall be half|strong="H2677" a cubit|strong="H0520"; and the bottom|strong="H2436" thereof shall be a cubit|strong="H0520" about|strong="H5439"; and his stairs|strong="H4609" shall look|strong="H6437" toward the east|strong="H6921".
18 And he said|strong="H0559" unto me, Son|strong="H1121" of man|strong="H0120", thus saith|strong="H0559" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*; These are the ordinances|strong="H2708" of the altar|strong="H4196" in the day|strong="H3117" when they shall make|strong="H6213" it, to offer|strong="H5927" burnt offerings|strong="H5930" thereon, and to sprinkle|strong="H2236" blood|strong="H1818" thereon.
19 And thou shalt give|strong="H5414" to the priests|strong="H3548" the Levites|strong="H3881" that be of the seed|strong="H2233" of Zadok|strong="H6659", which approach|strong="H7138" unto me, to minister|strong="H8334" unto me, saith|strong="H5002" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*, a young|strong="H1121" bullock|strong="H6499" for a sin offering|strong="H2403".
20 And thou shalt take|strong="H3947" of the blood|strong="H1818" thereof, and put|strong="H5414" it on the four|strong="H0702" horns|strong="H7161" of it, and on the four|strong="H0702" corners|strong="H6438" of the settle|strong="H5835", and upon the border|strong="H1366" round about|strong="H5439": thus shalt thou cleanse|strong="H2398" and purge|strong="H3722" it.
21 Thou shalt take|strong="H3947" the bullock|strong="H6499" also of the sin offering|strong="H2403", and he shall burn|strong="H8313" it in the appointed place|strong="H4662" of the house|strong="H1004", without|strong="H2351" the sanctuary|strong="H4720".
22 And on the second|strong="H8145" day|strong="H3117" thou shalt offer|strong="H7126" a kid|strong="H8163" of the goats|strong="H5795" without blemish|strong="H8549" for a sin offering|strong="H2403"; and they shall cleanse|strong="H2398" the altar|strong="H4196", as they did cleanse|strong="H2398" it with the bullock|strong="H6499".
23 When thou hast made an end|strong="H3615" of cleansing|strong="H2398" it, thou shalt offer|strong="H7126" a young|strong="H1121" bullock|strong="H6499" without blemish|strong="H8549", and a ram|strong="H0352" out of the flock|strong="H6629" without blemish|strong="H8549".
24 And thou shalt offer|strong="H7126" them before|strong="H6440" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, and the priests|strong="H3548" shall cast|strong="H7993" salt|strong="H4417" upon them, and they shall offer them up|strong="H5927" for a burnt offering|strong="H5930" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
25 Seven|strong="H7651" days|strong="H3117" shalt thou prepare|strong="H6213" every day|strong="H3117" a goat|strong="H8163" for a sin offering|strong="H2403": they shall also prepare|strong="H6213" a young|strong="H1121" bullock|strong="H6499", and a ram|strong="H0352" out of the flock|strong="H6629", without blemish|strong="H8549".
26 Seven|strong="H7651" days|strong="H3117" shall they purge|strong="H3722" the altar|strong="H4196" and purify|strong="H2891" it; and they shall consecrate themselves|strong="H4390".
27 And when these days|strong="H3117" are expired|strong="H3615", it shall be, that upon the eighth|strong="H8066" day|strong="H3117", and so forward|strong="H1973", the priests|strong="H3548" shall make|strong="H6213" your burnt offerings|strong="H5930" upon the altar|strong="H4196", and your peace offerings|strong="H8002"; and I will accept|strong="H7521" you, saith|strong="H5002" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*.
