1 And it came to pass in the twelfth|strong="H8147" year|strong="H8141", in the twelfth month|strong="H2320", in the first|strong="H0259" day of the month|strong="H2320", that the word|strong="H1697" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* came unto me, saying|strong="H0559",
2 Son|strong="H1121" of man|strong="H0120", take up|strong="H5375" a lamentation|strong="H7015" for Pharaoh|strong="H6547" king|strong="H4428" of Egypt|strong="H4714", and say|strong="H0559" unto him, Thou art like|strong="H1819" a young lion|strong="H3715" of the nations|strong="H1471", and thou art as a whale|strong="H8577" in the seas|strong="H3220": and thou camest forth|strong="H1518" with thy rivers|strong="H5104", and troubledst|strong="H1804" the waters|strong="H4325" with thy feet|strong="H7272", and fouledst|strong="H7515" their rivers|strong="H5104".
3 Thus saith|strong="H0559" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*; I will therefore spread out|strong="H6566" my net|strong="H7568" over thee with a company|strong="H6951" of many|strong="H7227" people|strong="H5971"; and they shall bring thee up|strong="H5927" in my net|strong="H2764".
4 Then will I leave|strong="H5203" thee upon the land|strong="H0776", I will cast thee forth|strong="H2904" upon the open|strong="H6440" field|strong="H7704", and will cause all the fowls|strong="H5775" of the heaven|strong="H8064" to remain|strong="H7931" upon thee, and I will fill|strong="H7646" the beasts|strong="H2416" of the whole earth|strong="H0776" with thee.
5 And I will lay|strong="H5414" thy flesh|strong="H1320" upon the mountains|strong="H2022", and fill|strong="H4390" the valleys|strong="H1516" with thy height|strong="H7419".
6 I will also water|strong="H8248" with thy blood|strong="H1818" the land|strong="H0776" wherein thou swimmest|strong="H6824", even to the mountains|strong="H2022"; and the rivers|strong="H0650" shall be full|strong="H4390" of thee.
7 And when I shall put thee out|strong="H3518", I will cover|strong="H3680" the heaven|strong="H8064", and make|strong="H6937" the stars|strong="H3556" thereof dark|strong="H6937"; I will cover|strong="H3680" the sun|strong="H8121" with a cloud|strong="H6051", and the moon|strong="H3394" shall not give|strong="H0215" her light|strong="H0216".
8 All the bright|strong="H3974" lights|strong="H0216" of heaven|strong="H8064" will I make dark|strong="H6937" over thee, and set|strong="H5414" darkness|strong="H2822" upon thy land|strong="H0776", saith|strong="H5002" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*.
9 I will also vex|strong="H3707" the hearts|strong="H3820" of many|strong="H7227" people|strong="H5971", when I shall bring|strong="H0935" thy destruction|strong="H7667" among the nations|strong="H1471", into the countries|strong="H0776" which thou hast not known|strong="H3045".
10 Yea, I will make many|strong="H7227" people|strong="H5971" amazed|strong="H8074" at thee, and their kings|strong="H4428" shall be horribly|strong="H8178" afraid|strong="H8175" for thee, when I shall brandish|strong="H5774" my sword|strong="H2719" before them|strong="H6440"; and they shall tremble|strong="H2729" at every moment|strong="H7281", every man|strong="H0376" for his own life|strong="H5315", in the day|strong="H3117" of thy fall|strong="H4658".
11 For thus saith|strong="H0559" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*; The sword|strong="H2719" of the king|strong="H4428" of Babylon|strong="H0894" shall come|strong="H0935" upon thee.
12 By the swords|strong="H2719" of the mighty|strong="H1368" will I cause thy multitude|strong="H1995" to fall|strong="H5307", the terrible|strong="H6184" of the nations|strong="H1471", all of them: and they shall spoil|strong="H7703" the pomp|strong="H1347" of Egypt|strong="H4714", and all the multitude|strong="H1995" thereof shall be destroyed|strong="H8045".
13 I will destroy|strong="H0006" also all the beasts|strong="H0929" thereof from|strong="H5921" beside the great|strong="H7227" waters|strong="H4325"; neither shall the foot|strong="H7272" of man|strong="H0120" trouble|strong="H1804" them any more, nor the hoofs|strong="H6541" of beasts|strong="H0929" trouble|strong="H1804" them.
14 Then will I make their waters|strong="H4325" deep|strong="H8257", and cause their rivers|strong="H5104" to run|strong="H3212" like oil|strong="H8081", saith|strong="H5002" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*.
15 When I shall make|strong="H5414" the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714" desolate|strong="H8077", and the country|strong="H0776" shall be destitute|strong="H8074" of that whereof it was full|strong="H4393", when I shall smite|strong="H5221" all them that dwell|strong="H3427" therein, then shall they know|strong="H3045" that I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
16 This is the lamentation|strong="H7015" wherewith they shall lament|strong="H6969" her: the daughters|strong="H1323" of the nations|strong="H1471" shall lament|strong="H6969" her: they shall lament|strong="H6969" for her, even for Egypt|strong="H4714", and for all her multitude|strong="H1995", saith|strong="H5002" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*.
17 It came to pass also in the twelfth|strong="H8147" year|strong="H8141", in the fifteenth|strong="H2568" day of the month|strong="H2320", that the word|strong="H1697" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* came unto me, saying|strong="H0559",
18 Son|strong="H1121" of man|strong="H0120", wail|strong="H5091" for the multitude|strong="H1995" of Egypt|strong="H4714", and cast them down|strong="H3381", even her, and the daughters|strong="H1323" of the famous|strong="H0117" nations|strong="H1471", unto the nether parts|strong="H8482" of the earth|strong="H0776", with them that go down|strong="H3381" into the pit|strong="H0953".
19 Whom dost thou pass in beauty|strong="H5276"? go down|strong="H3381", and be thou laid|strong="H7901" with the uncircumcised|strong="H6189".
20 They shall fall|strong="H5307" in the midst|strong="H8432" of them that are slain|strong="H2491" by the sword|strong="H2719": she is delivered|strong="H5414" to the sword|strong="H2719": draw|strong="H4900" her and all her multitudes|strong="H1995".
21 The strong|strong="H0410" among the mighty|strong="H1368" shall speak|strong="H1696" to him out of the midst|strong="H8432" of hell|strong="H7585" with them that help|strong="H5826" him: they are gone down|strong="H3381", they lie|strong="H7901" uncircumcised|strong="H6189", slain|strong="H2491" by the sword|strong="H2719".
22 Asshur|strong="H0804" is there and all her company|strong="H6951": his graves|strong="H6913" are about|strong="H5439" him: all of them slain|strong="H2491", fallen|strong="H5307" by the sword|strong="H2719":
23 Whose graves|strong="H6913" are set|strong="H5414" in the sides|strong="H3411" of the pit|strong="H0953", and her company|strong="H6951" is round about|strong="H5439" her grave|strong="H6900": all of them slain|strong="H2491", fallen|strong="H5307" by the sword|strong="H2719", which caused|strong="H5414" terror|strong="H2851" in the land|strong="H0776" of the living|strong="H2416".
24 There is Elam|strong="H5867" and all her multitude|strong="H1995" round about|strong="H5439" her grave|strong="H6900", all of them slain|strong="H2491", fallen|strong="H5307" by the sword|strong="H2719", which are gone down|strong="H3381" uncircumcised|strong="H6189" into the nether parts|strong="H8482" of the earth|strong="H0776", which caused|strong="H5414" their terror|strong="H2851" in the land|strong="H0776" of the living|strong="H2416"; yet have they borne|strong="H5375" their shame|strong="H3639" with them that go down|strong="H3381" to the pit|strong="H0953".
25 They have set|strong="H5414" her a bed|strong="H4904" in the midst|strong="H8432" of the slain|strong="H2491" with all her multitude|strong="H1995": her graves|strong="H6913" are round about|strong="H5439" him: all of them uncircumcised|strong="H6189", slain|strong="H2491" by the sword|strong="H2719": though their terror|strong="H2851" was caused|strong="H5414" in the land|strong="H0776" of the living|strong="H2416", yet have they borne|strong="H5375" their shame|strong="H3639" with them that go down|strong="H3381" to the pit|strong="H0953": he is put|strong="H5414" in the midst|strong="H8432" of them that be slain|strong="H2491".
26 There is Meshech|strong="H4902", Tubal|strong="H8422", and all her multitude|strong="H1995": her graves|strong="H6913" are round about|strong="H5439" him: all of them uncircumcised|strong="H6189", slain|strong="H2490" by the sword|strong="H2719", though they caused|strong="H5414" their terror|strong="H2851" in the land|strong="H0776" of the living|strong="H2416".
27 And they shall not lie|strong="H7901" with the mighty|strong="H1368" that are fallen|strong="H5307" of the uncircumcised|strong="H6189", which are gone down|strong="H3381" to hell|strong="H7585" with their weapons|strong="H3627" of war|strong="H4421": and they have laid|strong="H5414" their swords|strong="H2719" under their heads|strong="H7218", but their iniquities|strong="H5771" shall be upon their bones|strong="H6106", though they were the terror|strong="H2851" of the mighty|strong="H1368" in the land|strong="H0776" of the living|strong="H2416".
28 Yea, thou shalt be broken|strong="H7665" in the midst|strong="H8432" of the uncircumcised|strong="H6189", and shalt lie|strong="H7901" with them that are slain|strong="H2491" with the sword|strong="H2719".
29 There is Edom|strong="H0123", her kings|strong="H4428", and all her princes|strong="H5387", which with their might|strong="H1369" are laid|strong="H5414" by them that were slain|strong="H2491" by the sword|strong="H2719": they shall lie|strong="H7901" with the uncircumcised|strong="H6189", and with them that go down|strong="H3381" to the pit|strong="H0953".
30 There be the princes|strong="H5257" of the north|strong="H6828", all of them, and all the Zidonians|strong="H6722", which are gone down|strong="H3381" with the slain|strong="H2491"; with their terror|strong="H2851" they are ashamed|strong="H0954" of their might|strong="H1369"; and they lie|strong="H7901" uncircumcised|strong="H6189" with them that be slain|strong="H2491" by the sword|strong="H2719", and bear|strong="H5375" their shame|strong="H3639" with them that go down|strong="H3381" to the pit|strong="H0953".
31 Pharaoh|strong="H6547" shall see|strong="H7200" them, and shall be comforted|strong="H5162" over all his multitude|strong="H1995", even Pharaoh|strong="H6547" and all his army|strong="H2428" slain|strong="H2491" by the sword|strong="H2719", saith|strong="H5002" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*.
32 For I have caused|strong="H5414" my terror|strong="H2851" in the land|strong="H0776" of the living|strong="H2416": and he shall be laid|strong="H7901" in the midst|strong="H8432" of the uncircumcised|strong="H6189" with them that are slain|strong="H2491" with the sword|strong="H2719", even Pharaoh|strong="H6547" and all his multitude|strong="H1995", saith|strong="H5002" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*.
