1 A palavra do Senhor veio a mim, dizendo:
2 Son|strong="H1121" of man|strong="H0120", prophesy|strong="H5012" and say|strong="H0559", Thus saith|strong="H0559" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*; Howl|strong="H3213" ye, Woe worth|strong="H1929" the day|strong="H3117"!
2 — Filho do homem, profetize e diga: Assim diz o Senhor Deus: “Gritem: Ah! Aquele dia!
3 For the day|strong="H3117" is near|strong="H7138", even the day|strong="H3117" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* is near|strong="H7138", a cloudy|strong="H6051" day|strong="H3117"; it shall be the time|strong="H6256" of the heathen|strong="H1471".
3 Porque está perto o dia, sim, está perto o Dia do Será um dia de nuvens, o tempo dos gentios.
4 And the sword|strong="H2719" shall come|strong="H0935" upon Egypt|strong="H4714", and great pain|strong="H2479" shall be in Ethiopia|strong="H3568", when the slain|strong="H2491" shall fall|strong="H5307" in Egypt|strong="H4714", and they shall take away|strong="H3947" her multitude|strong="H1995", and her foundations|strong="H3247" shall be broken down|strong="H2040".
4 A espada virá contra o Egito, e haverá grande angústia na Etiópia, quando caírem os feridos no Egito; o seu povo será levado para o cativeiro, e serão destruídos os seus fundamentos.
5 Ethiopia|strong="H3568", and Libya|strong="H6316", and Lydia|strong="H3865", and all the mingled|strong="H6153" people, and Chub|strong="H3552", and the men|strong="H1121" of the land|strong="H0776" that is in league|strong="H1285", shall fall|strong="H5307" with them by the sword|strong="H2719".
5 A Etiópia, Pute, Lude e toda a Arábia, os de Cube e os homens da terra da aliança cairão à espada juntamente com o Egito.”
6 Thus saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*; They also that uphold|strong="H5564" Egypt|strong="H4714" shall fall|strong="H5307"; and the pride|strong="H1347" of her power|strong="H5797" shall come down|strong="H3381": from the tower|strong="H4024" of Syene|strong="H5482" shall they fall|strong="H5307" in it by the sword|strong="H2719", saith|strong="H5002" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*.
6 Assim diz o Senhor : “Também cairão os que sustêm o Egito, e será humilhado o orgulho do seu poder. Desde Migdol até Sevene, cairão à espada”, diz o
7 And they shall be desolate|strong="H8074" in the midst|strong="H8432" of the countries|strong="H0776" that are desolate|strong="H8074", and her cities|strong="H5892" shall be in the midst|strong="H8432" of the cities|strong="H5892" that are wasted|strong="H2717".
7 “Serão desolados no meio de terras desertas, e as suas cidades estarão no meio das cidades devastadas.
8 And they shall know|strong="H3045" that I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, when I have set|strong="H5414" a fire|strong="H0784" in Egypt|strong="H4714", and when all her helpers|strong="H5826" shall be destroyed|strong="H7665".
8 Saberão que eu sou o Senhor , quando eu tiver posto fogo no Egito e forem destruídos todos os que lhe prestavam auxílio.”
9 In that day|strong="H3117" shall messengers|strong="H4397" go forth|strong="H3318" from me|strong="H6440" in ships|strong="H6716" to make the careless|strong="H0983" Ethiopians|strong="H3568" afraid|strong="H2729", and great pain|strong="H2479" shall come upon them, as in the day|strong="H3117" of Egypt|strong="H4714": for, lo, it cometh|strong="H0935".
9 — Naquele dia, enviarei mensageiros em navios, para amedrontarem o povo da Etiópia, que vive despreocupado, e haverá angústia entre eles no dia da ruína do Egito; pois eis que já vem.
10 Thus saith|strong="H0559" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*; I will also make the multitude|strong="H1995" of Egypt|strong="H4714" to cease|strong="H7673" by the hand|strong="H3027" of Nebuchadrezzar|strong="H5019" king|strong="H4428" of Babylon|strong="H0894".
10 Assim diz o Senhor Deus: “Farei cessar a pompa do Egito, por meio de Nabucodonosor, rei da Babilônia.
11 He and his people|strong="H5971" with him, the terrible|strong="H6184" of the nations|strong="H1471", shall be brought|strong="H0935" to destroy|strong="H7843" the land|strong="H0776": and they shall draw|strong="H7324" their swords|strong="H2719" against Egypt|strong="H4714", and fill|strong="H4390" the land|strong="H0776" with the slain|strong="H2491".
11 Ele e o seu povo com ele, os mais terríveis das nações, serão levados para destruírem a terra; atacarão o Egito com suas espadas na mão e encherão a terra de mortos.
12 And I will make|strong="H5414" the rivers|strong="H2975" dry|strong="H2724", and sell|strong="H4376" the land|strong="H0776" into the hand|strong="H3027" of the wicked|strong="H7451": and I will make the land|strong="H0776" waste|strong="H8074", and all that is therein|strong="H4393", by the hand|strong="H3027" of strangers|strong="H2114": I the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* have spoken|strong="H1696" it.
12 Secarei os rios e venderei a terra, entregando-a nas mãos dos maus. Por meio de estrangeiros, farei desolada a terra e a sua plenitude. Eu, o

13 Assim diz o Senhor Deus: “Também destruirei os ídolos e eliminarei as imagens de Mênfis. Não haverá mais príncipe na terra do Egito, onde implantarei o terror.
14 And I will make Pathros|strong="H6624" desolate|strong="H8074", and will set|strong="H5414" fire|strong="H0784" in Zoan|strong="H6814", and will execute|strong="H6213" judgments|strong="H8201" in No|strong="H4996".
14 Farei de Patros uma desolação, porei fogo em Zoã e executarei juízo em Tebas.
15 And I will pour|strong="H8210" my fury|strong="H2534" upon Sin|strong="H5512", the strength|strong="H4581" of Egypt|strong="H4714"; and I will cut off|strong="H3772" the multitude|strong="H1995" of No|strong="H4996".
15 Derramarei o meu furor sobre Sim, fortaleza do Egito, e exterminarei a multidão de Tebas.
16 And I will set|strong="H5414" fire|strong="H0784" in Egypt|strong="H4714": Sin|strong="H5512" shall have great|strong="H2342" pain|strong="H2342", and No|strong="H4996" shall be rent asunder|strong="H1234", and Noph|strong="H5297" shall have distresses|strong="H6862" daily|strong="H3119".
16 Atearei fogo no Egito. A cidade de Sim terá grande angústia, Tebas será destruída, e Mênfis terá adversários em pleno dia.
17 The young men|strong="H0970" of Aven|strong="H0206" and of Pi-beseth|strong="H6364" shall fall|strong="H5307" by the sword|strong="H2719": and these cities shall go|strong="H3212" into captivity|strong="H7628".
17 Os jovens de Áven e de Pi-Besete cairão à espada, e estas cidades irão para o cativeiro.
18 At Tehaphnehes|strong="H8471" also the day|strong="H3117" shall be darkened|strong="H2821", when I shall break|strong="H7665" there the yokes|strong="H4133" of Egypt|strong="H4714": and the pomp|strong="H1347" of her strength|strong="H5797" shall cease|strong="H7673" in her|strong="H1931": as for her, a cloud|strong="H6051" shall cover|strong="H3680" her, and her daughters|strong="H1323" shall go|strong="H3212" into captivity|strong="H7628".
18 Em Tafnes, o dia se escurecerá, quando eu quebrar ali os jugos do Egito e nela cessar o orgulho do seu poder; uma nuvem a cobrirá, e as suas filhas irão para o cativeiro.
19 Thus will I execute|strong="H6213" judgments|strong="H8201" in Egypt|strong="H4714": and they shall know|strong="H3045" that I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
19 Assim, executarei juízo no Egito, e saberão que eu sou o
20 And it came to pass in the eleventh|strong="H0259" year|strong="H8141", in the first|strong="H7223" month, in the seventh|strong="H7651" day of the month|strong="H2320", that the word|strong="H1697" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* came unto me, saying|strong="H0559",
20 No décimo primeiro ano, no primeiro mês, aos sete dias do mês, a palavra do Senhor veio a mim, dizendo:
21 Son|strong="H1121" of man|strong="H0120", I have broken|strong="H7665" the arm|strong="H2220" of Pharaoh|strong="H6547" king|strong="H4428" of Egypt|strong="H4714"; and, lo, it shall not be bound up|strong="H2280" to be healed|strong="H7499", to put|strong="H7760" a roller|strong="H2848" to bind|strong="H2280" it, to make it strong|strong="H2388" to hold|strong="H8610" the sword|strong="H2719".
21 — Filho do homem, eu quebrei o braço de Faraó, rei do Egito, e eis que não foi atado para que seja tratado com remédios, nem posto numa tala para tornar-se forte o bastante para empunhar a espada.
22 Therefore thus saith|strong="H0559" the Lord|strong="H0136" \+w GOD|strong="H3069"\+w*; Behold, I am against Pharaoh|strong="H6547" king|strong="H4428" of Egypt|strong="H4714", and will break|strong="H7665" his arms|strong="H2220", the strong|strong="H2389", and that which was broken|strong="H7665"; and I will cause the sword|strong="H2719" to fall|strong="H5307" out of his hand|strong="H3027".
22 Portanto, assim diz o Senhor Deus: Eis que eu estou contra Faraó, rei do Egito. Quebrarei os seus braços, tanto o forte como o que já está quebrado, e farei com que a espada caia da sua mão.
23 And I will scatter|strong="H6327" the Egyptians|strong="H4714" among the nations|strong="H1471", and will disperse|strong="H2219" them through the countries|strong="H0776".
23 Dispersarei os egípcios entre as nações e os espalharei por outras terras.
24 And I will strengthen|strong="H2388" the arms|strong="H2220" of the king|strong="H4428" of Babylon|strong="H0894", and put|strong="H5414" my sword|strong="H2719" in his hand|strong="H3027": but I will break|strong="H7665" Pharaoh’s|strong="H6547" arms|strong="H2220", and he shall groan|strong="H5008" before|strong="H6440" him with the groanings|strong="H5009" of a deadly wounded|strong="H2491" man.
24 Fortalecerei os braços do rei da Babilônia e porei a minha espada na mão dele. Porém quebrarei os braços de Faraó, que, diante dele, gemerá como geme quem foi mortalmente ferido.
25 But I will strengthen|strong="H2388" the arms|strong="H2220" of the king|strong="H4428" of Babylon|strong="H0894", and the arms|strong="H2220" of Pharaoh|strong="H6547" shall fall down|strong="H5307"; and they shall know|strong="H3045" that I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, when I shall put|strong="H5414" my sword|strong="H2719" into the hand|strong="H3027" of the king|strong="H4428" of Babylon|strong="H0894", and he shall stretch it out|strong="H5186" upon the land|strong="H0776" of Egypt|strong="H4714".
25 Levantarei os braços do rei da Babilônia, mas os braços de Faraó cairão. Saberão que eu sou o Senhor , quando eu puser a minha espada na mão do rei da Babilônia e ele a estender contra a terra do Egito.
26 And I will scatter|strong="H6327" the Egyptians|strong="H4714" among the nations|strong="H1471", and disperse|strong="H2219" them among the countries|strong="H0776"; and they shall know|strong="H3045" that I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
26 Dispersarei os egípcios entre as nações e os espalharei por outras terras. Assim eles saberão que eu sou o Senhor .
