And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* spake|strong="H1696" unto Moses|strong="H4872", saying|strong="H0559",
Speak|strong="H1696" unto the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478", that they turn|strong="H7725" and encamp|strong="H2583" before|strong="H6440" Pi-hahiroth|strong="H6367", between Migdol|strong="H4024" and the sea|strong="H3220", over against|strong="H6440" Baal-zephon|strong="H1189": before|strong="H5226" it shall ye encamp|strong="H2583" by the sea|strong="H3220".
For Pharaoh|strong="H6547" will say|strong="H0559" of the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478", They are entangled|strong="H0943" in the land|strong="H0776", the wilderness|strong="H4057" hath shut them in|strong="H5462".
And I will harden|strong="H2388" Pharaoh’s|strong="H6547" heart|strong="H3820", that he shall follow|strong="H7291" after|strong="H0310" them; and I will be honoured|strong="H3513" upon Pharaoh|strong="H6547", and upon all his host|strong="H2428"; that the Egyptians|strong="H4714" may know|strong="H3045" that I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*. And they did|strong="H6213" so.
And it was told|strong="H5046" the king|strong="H4428" of Egypt|strong="H4714" that the people|strong="H5971" fled|strong="H1272": and the heart|strong="H3824" of Pharaoh|strong="H6547" and of his servants|strong="H5650" was turned|strong="H2015" against the people|strong="H5971", and they said|strong="H0559", Why have we done|strong="H6213" this, that we have let Israel|strong="H3478" go|strong="H7971" from serving|strong="H5647" us?
And he made ready|strong="H0631" his chariot|strong="H7393", and took|strong="H3947" his people|strong="H5971" with him:
And he took|strong="H3947" six|strong="H8337" hundred|strong="H3967" chosen|strong="H0977" chariots|strong="H7393", and all the chariots|strong="H7393" of Egypt|strong="H4714", and captains|strong="H7991" over every one of them.
And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* hardened|strong="H2388" the heart|strong="H3820" of Pharaoh|strong="H6547" king|strong="H4428" of Egypt|strong="H4714", and he pursued|strong="H7291" after|strong="H0310" the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478": and the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478" went out|strong="H3318" with an high|strong="H7311" hand|strong="H3027".
But the Egyptians|strong="H4714" pursued|strong="H7291" after|strong="H0310" them, all the horses|strong="H5483" and chariots|strong="H7393" of Pharaoh|strong="H6547", and his horsemen|strong="H6571", and his army|strong="H2428", and overtook|strong="H5381" them encamping|strong="H2583" by the sea|strong="H3220", beside Pi-hahiroth|strong="H6367", before|strong="H6440" Baal-zephon|strong="H1189".
And when Pharaoh|strong="H6547" drew nigh|strong="H7126", the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478" lifted up|strong="H5375" their eyes|strong="H5869", and, behold, the Egyptians|strong="H4714" marched|strong="H5265" after|strong="H0310" them; and they were sore|strong="H3966" afraid|strong="H3372": and the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478" cried out|strong="H6817" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
And they said|strong="H0559" unto Moses|strong="H4872", Because there were no graves|strong="H6913" in Egypt|strong="H4714", hast thou taken us away|strong="H3947" to die|strong="H4191" in the wilderness|strong="H4057"? wherefore|strong="H2063" hast thou dealt|strong="H6213" thus with us, to carry us forth|strong="H3318" out of Egypt|strong="H4714"?
Is not this the word|strong="H1697" that we did tell|strong="H1696" thee in Egypt|strong="H4714", saying|strong="H0559", Let us alone|strong="H2308", that we may serve|strong="H5647" the Egyptians|strong="H4714"? For it had been better|strong="H2896" for us to serve|strong="H5647" the Egyptians|strong="H4714", than that we should die|strong="H4191" in the wilderness|strong="H4057".
And Moses|strong="H4872" said|strong="H0559" unto the people|strong="H5971", Fear|strong="H3372" ye not, stand still|strong="H3320", and see|strong="H7200" the salvation|strong="H3444" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, which he will shew|strong="H6213" to you to day|strong="H3117": for the Egyptians|strong="H4714" whom ye have seen|strong="H7200" to day|strong="H3117", ye shall see|strong="H7200" them again|strong="H3254" no more for|strong="H5704" ever|strong="H5769".
The \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall fight|strong="H3898" for you, and ye shall hold your peace|strong="H2790".
And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* said|strong="H0559" unto Moses|strong="H4872", Wherefore criest|strong="H6817" thou unto me? speak|strong="H1696" unto the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478", that they go forward|strong="H5265":
But lift thou up|strong="H7311" thy rod|strong="H4294", and stretch out|strong="H5186" thine hand|strong="H3027" over the sea|strong="H3220", and divide|strong="H1234" it: and the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478" shall go|strong="H0935" on dry|strong="H3004" ground through the midst|strong="H8432" of the sea|strong="H3220".
And I, behold, I will harden|strong="H2388" the hearts|strong="H3820" of the Egyptians|strong="H4714", and they shall follow|strong="H0935" them|strong="H0310": and I will get me honour|strong="H3513" upon Pharaoh|strong="H6547", and upon all his host|strong="H2428", upon his chariots|strong="H7393", and upon his horsemen|strong="H6571".
And the Egyptians|strong="H4714" shall know|strong="H3045" that I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, when I have gotten me honour|strong="H3513" upon Pharaoh|strong="H6547", upon his chariots|strong="H7393", and upon his horsemen|strong="H6571".
And the angel|strong="H4397" of God|strong="H0430", which went|strong="H1980" before|strong="H6440" the camp|strong="H4264" of Israel|strong="H3478", removed|strong="H5265" and went|strong="H3212" behind|strong="H0310" them; and the pillar|strong="H5982" of the cloud|strong="H6051" went|strong="H5265" from before their face|strong="H6440", and stood|strong="H5975" behind|strong="H0310" them:
And it came|strong="H0935" between the camp|strong="H4264" of the Egyptians|strong="H4714" and the camp|strong="H4264" of Israel|strong="H3478"; and it was a cloud|strong="H6051" and darkness|strong="H2822" to them, but it gave light|strong="H0215" by night|strong="H3915" to these: so that the one came not near|strong="H7126" the other|strong="H2088" all the night|strong="H3915".
And Moses|strong="H4872" stretched out|strong="H5186" his hand|strong="H3027" over the sea|strong="H3220"; and the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* caused the sea|strong="H3220" to go|strong="H3212" back by a strong|strong="H5794" east|strong="H6921" wind|strong="H7307" all that night|strong="H3915", and made|strong="H7760" the sea|strong="H3220" dry|strong="H2724" land, and the waters|strong="H4325" were divided|strong="H1234".
And the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478" went|strong="H0935" into the midst|strong="H8432" of the sea|strong="H3220" upon the dry|strong="H3004" ground: and the waters|strong="H4325" were a wall|strong="H2346" unto them on their right hand|strong="H3225", and on their left|strong="H8040".
And the Egyptians|strong="H4714" pursued|strong="H7291", and went in|strong="H0935" after|strong="H0310" them to the midst|strong="H8432" of the sea|strong="H3220", even all Pharaoh’s|strong="H6547" horses|strong="H5483", his chariots|strong="H7393", and his horsemen|strong="H6571".
And it came to pass, that in the morning|strong="H1242" watch|strong="H0821" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* looked|strong="H8259" unto the host|strong="H4264" of the Egyptians|strong="H4714" through the pillar|strong="H5982" of fire|strong="H0784" and of the cloud|strong="H6051", and troubled|strong="H2000" the host|strong="H4264" of the Egyptians|strong="H4714",
And took off|strong="H5493" their chariot|strong="H4818" wheels|strong="H0212", that they drave|strong="H5090" them heavily|strong="H3517": so that the Egyptians|strong="H4714" said|strong="H0559", Let us flee|strong="H5127" from the face|strong="H6440" of Israel|strong="H3478"; for the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* fighteth|strong="H3898" for them against the Egyptians|strong="H4714".
And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* said|strong="H0559" unto Moses|strong="H4872", Stretch out|strong="H5186" thine hand|strong="H3027" over the sea|strong="H3220", that the waters|strong="H4325" may come again|strong="H7725" upon the Egyptians|strong="H4714", upon their chariots|strong="H7393", and upon their horsemen|strong="H6571".
And Moses|strong="H4872" stretched forth|strong="H5186" his hand|strong="H3027" over the sea|strong="H3220", and the sea|strong="H3220" returned|strong="H7725" to his strength|strong="H0386" when the morning|strong="H1242" appeared|strong="H6437"; and the Egyptians|strong="H4714" fled|strong="H5127" against|strong="H7125" it; and the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* overthrew|strong="H5287" the Egyptians|strong="H4714" in the midst|strong="H8432" of the sea|strong="H3220".
And the waters|strong="H4325" returned|strong="H7725", and covered|strong="H3680" the chariots|strong="H7393", and the horsemen|strong="H6571", and all the host|strong="H2428" of Pharaoh|strong="H6547" that came|strong="H0935" into the sea|strong="H3220" after|strong="H0310" them; there remained|strong="H7604" not so much as|strong="H5704" one|strong="H0259" of them.
But the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478" walked|strong="H1980" upon dry|strong="H3004" land in the midst|strong="H8432" of the sea|strong="H3220"; and the waters|strong="H4325" were a wall|strong="H2346" unto them on their right hand|strong="H3225", and on their left|strong="H8040".
Thus the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* saved|strong="H3467" Israel|strong="H3478" that day|strong="H3117" out of the hand|strong="H3027" of the Egyptians|strong="H4714"; and Israel|strong="H3478" saw|strong="H7200" the Egyptians|strong="H4714" dead|strong="H4191" upon the sea|strong="H3220" shore|strong="H8193".
And Israel|strong="H3478" saw|strong="H7200" that great|strong="H1419" work|strong="H3027" which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* did|strong="H6213" upon the Egyptians|strong="H4714": and the people|strong="H5971" feared|strong="H3372" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, and believed|strong="H0539" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, and his servant|strong="H5650" Moses|strong="H4872".
