1 Then sang|strong="H7891" Moses|strong="H4872" and the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478" this song|strong="H7892" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, and spake|strong="H0559", saying|strong="H0559", I will sing|strong="H7891" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, for he hath triumphed|strong="H1342" gloriously|strong="H1342": the horse|strong="H5483" and his rider|strong="H7392" hath he thrown|strong="H7411" into the sea|strong="H3220".
2 The \+w LORD|strong="H3050"\+w* is my strength|strong="H5797" and song|strong="H2176", and he is become my salvation|strong="H3444": he|strong="H2088" is my God|strong="H0410", and I will prepare him an habitation|strong="H5115"; my father’s|strong="H0001" God|strong="H0430", and I will exalt|strong="H7311" him.
3 The \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* is a man|strong="H0376" of war|strong="H4421": the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* is his name|strong="H8034".
4 Pharaoh’s|strong="H6547" chariots|strong="H4818" and his host|strong="H2428" hath he cast|strong="H3384" into the sea|strong="H3220": his chosen|strong="H4005" captains|strong="H7991" also are drowned|strong="H2883" in the Red|strong="H5488" sea|strong="H3220".
5 The depths|strong="H8415" have covered|strong="H3680" them: they sank|strong="H3381" into the bottom|strong="H4688" as|strong="H3644" a stone|strong="H0068".
6 Thy right hand|strong="H3225", O \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, is become glorious|strong="H0142" in power|strong="H3581": thy right hand|strong="H3225", O \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, hath dashed in pieces|strong="H7492" the enemy|strong="H0341".
7 And in the greatness|strong="H7230" of thine excellency|strong="H1347" thou hast overthrown|strong="H2040" them that rose up against|strong="H6965" thee: thou sentest forth|strong="H7971" thy wrath|strong="H2740", which consumed|strong="H0398" them as stubble|strong="H7179".
8 And with the blast|strong="H7307" of thy nostrils|strong="H0639" the waters|strong="H4325" were gathered together|strong="H6192", the floods|strong="H5140" stood upright|strong="H5324" as an heap|strong="H5067", and the depths|strong="H8415" were congealed|strong="H7087" in the heart|strong="H3820" of the sea|strong="H3220".
9 The enemy|strong="H0341" said|strong="H0559", I will pursue|strong="H7291", I will overtake|strong="H5381", I will divide|strong="H2505" the spoil|strong="H7998"; my lust|strong="H5315" shall be satisfied|strong="H4390" upon them; I will draw|strong="H7324" my sword|strong="H2719", my hand|strong="H3027" shall destroy|strong="H3423" them.
10 Thou didst blow|strong="H5398" with thy wind|strong="H7307", the sea|strong="H3220" covered|strong="H3680" them: they sank|strong="H6749" as lead|strong="H5777" in the mighty|strong="H0117" waters|strong="H4325".
11 Who is like unto thee, O \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, among the gods|strong="H0410"? who is like thee, glorious|strong="H0142" in holiness|strong="H6944", fearful|strong="H3372" in praises|strong="H8416", doing|strong="H6213" wonders|strong="H6382"?
12 Thou stretchedst out|strong="H5186" thy right hand|strong="H3225", the earth|strong="H0776" swallowed|strong="H1104" them.
13 Thou in thy mercy|strong="H2617" hast led forth|strong="H5148" the people|strong="H5971" \+w which|strong="H2098"\+w* thou hast redeemed|strong="H1350": thou hast guided|strong="H5095" them in thy strength|strong="H5797" unto thy holy|strong="H6944" habitation|strong="H5116".
14 The people|strong="H5971" shall hear|strong="H8085", and be afraid|strong="H7264": sorrow|strong="H2427" shall take hold|strong="H0270" on the inhabitants|strong="H3427" of Palestina|strong="H6429".
15 Then|strong="H0227" the dukes|strong="H0441" of Edom|strong="H0123" shall be amazed|strong="H0926"; the mighty men|strong="H0352" of Moab|strong="H4124", trembling|strong="H7461" shall take hold|strong="H0270" upon them; all the inhabitants|strong="H3427" of Canaan|strong="H3667" shall melt away|strong="H4127".
16 Fear|strong="H0367" and dread|strong="H6343" shall fall|strong="H5307" upon them; by the greatness|strong="H1419" of thine arm|strong="H2220" they shall be as still|strong="H1826" as a stone|strong="H0068"; till thy people|strong="H5971" pass over|strong="H5674", O \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, till the people|strong="H5971" pass over|strong="H5674", \+w which|strong="H2098"\+w* thou hast purchased|strong="H7069".
17 Thou shalt bring|strong="H0935" them in, and plant|strong="H5193" them in the mountain|strong="H2022" of thine inheritance|strong="H5159", in the place|strong="H4349", O \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, which thou hast made|strong="H6466" for thee to dwell in|strong="H3427", in the Sanctuary|strong="H4720", O Lord|strong="H0136", which thy hands|strong="H3027" have established|strong="H3559".
18 The \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shall reign|strong="H4427" for ever|strong="H5769" and ever|strong="H5703".
19 For the horse|strong="H5483" of Pharaoh|strong="H6547" went in|strong="H0935" with his chariots|strong="H7393" and with his horsemen|strong="H6571" into the sea|strong="H3220", and the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* brought again|strong="H7725" the waters|strong="H4325" of the sea|strong="H3220" upon them; but the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478" went|strong="H1980" on dry|strong="H3004" land in the midst|strong="H8432" of the sea|strong="H3220".
20 And Miriam|strong="H4813" the prophetess|strong="H5031", the sister|strong="H0269" of Aaron|strong="H0175", took|strong="H3947" a timbrel|strong="H8596" in her hand|strong="H3027"; and all the women|strong="H0802" went out|strong="H3318" after|strong="H0310" her with timbrels|strong="H8596" and with dances|strong="H4246".
21 And Miriam|strong="H4813" answered|strong="H6030" them, Sing|strong="H7891" ye to the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, for he hath triumphed|strong="H1342" gloriously|strong="H1342"; the horse|strong="H5483" and his rider|strong="H7392" hath he thrown|strong="H7411" into the sea|strong="H3220".
22 So Moses|strong="H4872" brought|strong="H5265" Israel|strong="H3478" from the Red|strong="H5488" sea|strong="H3220", and they went out|strong="H3318" into the wilderness|strong="H4057" of Shur|strong="H7793"; and they went|strong="H3212" three|strong="H7969" days|strong="H3117" in the wilderness|strong="H4057", and found|strong="H4672" no water|strong="H4325".
23 And when they came|strong="H0935" to Marah|strong="H4785", they could|strong="H3201" not drink|strong="H8354" of the waters|strong="H4325" of Marah|strong="H4785", for they were bitter|strong="H4751": therefore the name|strong="H8034" of it was called|strong="H7121" Marah|strong="H4785".
24 And the people|strong="H5971" murmured|strong="H3885" against Moses|strong="H4872", saying|strong="H0559", What shall we drink|strong="H8354"?
25 And he cried|strong="H6817" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*; and the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* shewed|strong="H3384" him a tree|strong="H6086", which when he had cast|strong="H7993" into the waters|strong="H4325", the waters|strong="H4325" were made sweet|strong="H4985": there he made|strong="H7760" for them a statute|strong="H2706" and an ordinance|strong="H4941", and there he proved|strong="H5254" them,
26 And said|strong="H0559", If thou wilt diligently|strong="H8085" hearken|strong="H8085" to the voice|strong="H6963" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430", and wilt do|strong="H6213" that which is right|strong="H3477" in his sight|strong="H5869", and wilt give ear|strong="H0238" to his commandments|strong="H4687", and keep|strong="H8104" all his statutes|strong="H2706", I will put|strong="H7760" none of these diseases|strong="H4245" upon thee, which I have brought|strong="H7760" upon the Egyptians|strong="H4714": for I am the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* that healeth|strong="H7495" thee.
27 And they came|strong="H0935" to Elim|strong="H0362", where were twelve|strong="H8147" wells|strong="H5869" of water|strong="H4325", and threescore and ten|strong="H7657" palm trees|strong="H8558": and they encamped|strong="H2583" there by the waters|strong="H4325".
