Manasseh|strong="H4519" was twelve|strong="H8147" years|strong="H8141" old|strong="H1121" when he began to reign|strong="H4427", and reigned|strong="H4427" fifty|strong="H2572" and five|strong="H2568" years|strong="H8141" in Jerusalem|strong="H3389". And his mother’s|strong="H0517" name|strong="H8034" was Hephzi-bah|strong="H2657".
And he did|strong="H6213" that which was evil|strong="H7451" in the sight|strong="H5869" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, after the abominations|strong="H8441" of the heathen|strong="H1471", whom the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* cast out|strong="H3423" before|strong="H6440" the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478".
For he built up|strong="H1129" again|strong="H7725" the high places|strong="H1116" which Hezekiah|strong="H2396" his father|strong="H0001" had destroyed|strong="H0006"; and he reared up|strong="H6965" altars|strong="H4196" for Baal|strong="H1168", and made|strong="H6213" a grove|strong="H0842", as did|strong="H6213" Ahab|strong="H0256" king|strong="H4428" of Israel|strong="H3478"; and worshipped|strong="H7812" all the host|strong="H6635" of heaven|strong="H8064", and served|strong="H5647" them.
And he built|strong="H1129" altars|strong="H4196" in the house|strong="H1004" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, of which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* said|strong="H0559", In Jerusalem|strong="H3389" will I put|strong="H7760" my name|strong="H8034".
And he built|strong="H1129" altars|strong="H4196" for all the host|strong="H6635" of heaven|strong="H8064" in the two|strong="H8147" courts|strong="H2691" of the house|strong="H1004" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
And he made his son|strong="H1121" pass|strong="H5674" through the fire|strong="H0784", and observed times|strong="H6049", and used enchantments|strong="H5172", and dealt|strong="H6213" with familiar spirits|strong="H0178" and wizards|strong="H3049": he wrought|strong="H6213" much|strong="H7235" wickedness|strong="H7451" in the sight|strong="H5869" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, to provoke him to anger|strong="H3707".
And he set|strong="H7760" a graven image|strong="H6459" of the grove|strong="H0842" that he had made|strong="H6213" in the house|strong="H1004", of which the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* said|strong="H0559" to David|strong="H1732", and to Solomon|strong="H8010" his son|strong="H1121", In this house|strong="H1004", and in Jerusalem|strong="H3389", which I have chosen|strong="H0977" out of all tribes|strong="H7626" of Israel|strong="H3478", will I put|strong="H7760" my name|strong="H8034" for ever|strong="H5769":
Neither will I make the feet|strong="H7272" of Israel|strong="H3478" move|strong="H5110" any more|strong="H3254" out of the land|strong="H0127" which I gave|strong="H5414" their fathers|strong="H0001"; only if they will observe|strong="H8104" to do|strong="H6213" according to all that I have commanded|strong="H6680" them, and according to all the law|strong="H8451" that my servant|strong="H5650" Moses|strong="H4872" commanded|strong="H6680" them.
But they hearkened|strong="H8085" not: and Manasseh|strong="H4519" seduced|strong="H8582" them to do|strong="H6213" more evil|strong="H7451" than did the nations|strong="H1471" whom the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* destroyed|strong="H8045" before|strong="H6440" the children|strong="H1121" of Israel|strong="H3478".
And the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* spake|strong="H1696" by|strong="H3027" his servants|strong="H5650" the prophets|strong="H5030", saying|strong="H0559",
Because Manasseh|strong="H4519" king|strong="H4428" of Judah|strong="H3063" hath done|strong="H6213" these abominations|strong="H8441", and hath done wickedly|strong="H7489" above all that the Amorites|strong="H0567" did|strong="H6213", which were before|strong="H6440" him, and hath made Judah|strong="H3063" also to sin|strong="H2398" with his idols|strong="H1544":
Therefore thus saith|strong="H0559" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* God|strong="H0430" of Israel|strong="H3478", Behold, I am bringing|strong="H0935" such evil|strong="H7451" upon Jerusalem|strong="H3389" and Judah|strong="H3063", that whosoever heareth|strong="H8085" of it, both|strong="H8147" his ears|strong="H0241" shall tingle|strong="H6750".
And I will stretch|strong="H5186" over Jerusalem|strong="H3389" the line|strong="H6957" of Samaria|strong="H8111", and the plummet|strong="H4949" of the house|strong="H1004" of Ahab|strong="H0256": and I will wipe|strong="H4229" Jerusalem|strong="H3389" as a man wipeth|strong="H4229" a dish|strong="H6747", wiping|strong="H4229" it, and turning|strong="H2015" it upside down|strong="H6440".
And I will forsake|strong="H5203" the remnant|strong="H7611" of mine inheritance|strong="H5159", and deliver|strong="H5414" them into the hand|strong="H3027" of their enemies|strong="H0341"; and they shall become a prey|strong="H0957" and a spoil|strong="H4933" to all their enemies|strong="H0341";
Because they have done|strong="H6213" that which was evil|strong="H7451" in my sight|strong="H5869", and have provoked|strong="H4480" me to anger|strong="H3707", since the day|strong="H3117" their fathers|strong="H0001" came forth|strong="H3318" out of Egypt|strong="H4714", even unto this day|strong="H3117".
Moreover Manasseh|strong="H4519" shed|strong="H8210" innocent|strong="H5355" blood|strong="H1818" very|strong="H3966" much|strong="H7235", till he had filled|strong="H4390" Jerusalem|strong="H3389" from one end|strong="H6310" to another|strong="H6310"; beside his sin|strong="H2403" wherewith he made Judah|strong="H3063" to sin|strong="H2398", in doing|strong="H6213" that which was evil|strong="H7451" in the sight|strong="H5869" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
Now the rest|strong="H3499" of the acts|strong="H1697" of Manasseh|strong="H4519", and all that he did|strong="H6213", and his sin|strong="H2403" that he sinned|strong="H2398", are they not written|strong="H3789" in the book|strong="H5612" of the chronicles|strong="H1697" of the kings|strong="H4428" of Judah|strong="H3063"?
And Manasseh|strong="H4519" slept|strong="H7901" with his fathers|strong="H0001", and was buried|strong="H6912" in the garden|strong="H1588" of his own house|strong="H1004", in the garden|strong="H1588" of Uzza|strong="H5798": and Amon|strong="H0526" his son|strong="H1121" reigned|strong="H4427" in his stead.
Amon|strong="H0526" was twenty|strong="H6242" and two|strong="H8147" years|strong="H8141" old|strong="H1121" when he began to reign|strong="H4427", and he reigned|strong="H4427" two|strong="H8147" years|strong="H8141" in Jerusalem|strong="H3389". And his mother’s|strong="H0517" name|strong="H8034" was Meshullemeth|strong="H4922", the daughter|strong="H1323" of Haruz|strong="H2743" of Jotbah|strong="H3192".
And he did|strong="H6213" that which was evil|strong="H7451" in the sight|strong="H5869" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, as his father|strong="H0001" Manasseh|strong="H4519" did|strong="H6213".
And he walked|strong="H3212" in all the way|strong="H1870" that his father|strong="H0001" walked in|strong="H1980", and served|strong="H5647" the idols|strong="H1544" that his father|strong="H0001" served|strong="H5647", and worshipped|strong="H7812" them:
And he forsook|strong="H5800" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* God|strong="H0430" of his fathers|strong="H0001", and walked|strong="H1980" not in the way|strong="H1870" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
And the servants|strong="H5650" of Amon|strong="H0526" conspired|strong="H7194" against him, and slew|strong="H4191" the king|strong="H4428" in his own house|strong="H1004".
And the people|strong="H5971" of the land|strong="H0776" slew|strong="H5221" all them that had conspired|strong="H7194" against king|strong="H4428" Amon|strong="H0526"; and the people|strong="H5971" of the land|strong="H0776" made Josiah|strong="H2977" his son|strong="H1121" king|strong="H4427" in his stead.
Now the rest|strong="H3499" of the acts|strong="H1697" of Amon|strong="H0526" which he did|strong="H6213", are they not written|strong="H3789" in the book|strong="H5612" of the chronicles|strong="H1697" of the kings|strong="H4428" of Judah|strong="H3063"?
And he was buried|strong="H6912" in his sepulchre|strong="H6900" in the garden|strong="H1588" of Uzza|strong="H5798": and Josiah|strong="H2977" his son|strong="H1121" reigned|strong="H4427" in his stead.
