2 Crônicas 9

King James (Authorized) Version (ENG-KJV2006)

1 And when the queen|strong="H4436" of Sheba|strong="H7614" heard|strong="H8085" of the fame|strong="H8088" of Solomon|strong="H8010", she came|strong="H0935" to prove|strong="H5254" Solomon|strong="H8010" with hard questions|strong="H2420" at Jerusalem|strong="H3389", with a very|strong="H3966" great|strong="H3515" company|strong="H2428", and camels|strong="H1581" that bare|strong="H5375" spices|strong="H1314", and gold|strong="H2091" in abundance|strong="H7230", and precious|strong="H3368" stones|strong="H0068": and when she was come|strong="H0935" to Solomon|strong="H8010", she communed|strong="H1696" with him of all that was in her heart|strong="H3824".

2 And Solomon|strong="H8010" told|strong="H5046" her all her questions|strong="H1697": and there was nothing hid|strong="H5956" from Solomon|strong="H8010" which he told|strong="H5046" her not.

3 And when the queen|strong="H4436" of Sheba|strong="H7614" had seen|strong="H7200" the wisdom|strong="H2451" of Solomon|strong="H8010", and the house|strong="H1004" that he had built|strong="H1129",

4 And the meat|strong="H3978" of his table|strong="H7979", and the sitting|strong="H4186" of his servants|strong="H5650", and the attendance|strong="H4612" of his ministers|strong="H8334", and their apparel|strong="H4403"; his cupbearers|strong="H8248" also, and their apparel|strong="H4403"; and his ascent|strong="H5944" by which he went up|strong="H5927" into the house|strong="H1004" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*; there was no more spirit|strong="H7307" in her.

5 And she said|strong="H0559" to the king|strong="H4428", It was a true|strong="H0571" report|strong="H1697" which I heard|strong="H8085" in mine own land|strong="H0776" of thine acts|strong="H1697", and of thy wisdom|strong="H2451":

6 Howbeit I believed|strong="H0539" not their words|strong="H1697", until I came|strong="H0935", and mine eyes|strong="H5869" had seen|strong="H7200" it: and, behold, the one half|strong="H2677" of the greatness|strong="H4768" of thy wisdom|strong="H2451" was not told|strong="H5046" me: for thou exceedest|strong="H3254" the fame|strong="H8052" that I heard|strong="H8085".

7 Happy|strong="H0835" are thy men|strong="H0582", and happy|strong="H0835" are these thy servants|strong="H5650", which stand|strong="H5975" continually|strong="H8548" before|strong="H6440" thee, and hear|strong="H8085" thy wisdom|strong="H2451".

8 Blessed|strong="H1288" be the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430", which delighted|strong="H2654" in thee to set|strong="H5414" thee on his throne|strong="H3678", to be king|strong="H4428" for the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* thy God|strong="H0430": because thy God|strong="H0430" loved|strong="H0160" Israel|strong="H3478", to establish|strong="H5975" them for ever|strong="H5769", therefore made|strong="H5414" he thee king|strong="H4428" over them, to do|strong="H6213" judgment|strong="H4941" and justice|strong="H6666".

9 And she gave|strong="H5414" the king|strong="H4428" an hundred|strong="H3967" and twenty|strong="H6242" talents|strong="H3603" of gold|strong="H2091", and of spices|strong="H1314" great|strong="H3966" abundance|strong="H7230", and precious|strong="H3368" stones|strong="H0068": neither was there any such spice|strong="H1314" as the queen|strong="H4436" of Sheba|strong="H7614" gave|strong="H5414" king|strong="H4428" Solomon|strong="H8010".

10 And the servants|strong="H5650" also of Huram|strong="H2361", and the servants|strong="H5650" of Solomon|strong="H8010", which brought|strong="H0935" gold|strong="H2091" from Ophir|strong="H0211", brought|strong="H0935" algum|strong="H0418" trees|strong="H6086" and precious|strong="H3368" stones|strong="H0068".

11 And the king|strong="H4428" made|strong="H6213" of the algum|strong="H0418" trees|strong="H6086" terraces|strong="H4546" to the house|strong="H1004" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, and to the king’s|strong="H4428" palace|strong="H1004", and harps|strong="H3658" and psalteries|strong="H5035" for singers|strong="H7891": and there were none such|strong="H1992" seen|strong="H7200" before|strong="H6440" in the land|strong="H0776" of Judah|strong="H3063".

12 And king|strong="H4428" Solomon|strong="H8010" gave|strong="H5414" to the queen|strong="H4436" of Sheba|strong="H7614" all her desire|strong="H2656", whatsoever she asked|strong="H7592", beside that which she had brought|strong="H0935" unto the king|strong="H4428". So she turned|strong="H2015", and went away|strong="H3212" to her own land|strong="H0776", she and her servants|strong="H5650".

13 Now the weight|strong="H4948" of gold|strong="H2091" that came|strong="H0935" to Solomon|strong="H8010" in one|strong="H0259" year|strong="H8141" was six|strong="H8337" hundred|strong="H3967" and threescore|strong="H8346" and six|strong="H8337" talents|strong="H3603" of gold|strong="H2091";

14 Beside that which chapmen|strong="H0582" and merchants|strong="H5503" brought|strong="H0935". And all the kings|strong="H4428" of Arabia|strong="H6152" and governors|strong="H6346" of the country|strong="H0776" brought|strong="H0935" gold|strong="H2091" and silver|strong="H3701" to Solomon|strong="H8010".

15 And king|strong="H4428" Solomon|strong="H8010" made|strong="H6213" two hundred|strong="H3967" targets|strong="H6793" of beaten|strong="H7820" gold|strong="H2091": six|strong="H8337" hundred|strong="H3967" shekels of beaten|strong="H7820" gold|strong="H2091" went|strong="H5927" to one|strong="H0259" target|strong="H6793".

16 And three|strong="H7969" hundred|strong="H3967" shields|strong="H4043" made he of beaten|strong="H7820" gold|strong="H2091": three|strong="H7969" hundred|strong="H3967" shekels of gold|strong="H2091" went|strong="H5927" to one|strong="H0259" shield|strong="H4043". And the king|strong="H4428" put|strong="H5414" them in the house|strong="H1004" of the forest|strong="H3293" of Lebanon|strong="H3844".

17 Moreover the king|strong="H4428" made|strong="H6213" a great|strong="H1419" throne|strong="H3678" of ivory|strong="H8127", and overlaid|strong="H6823" it with pure|strong="H2889" gold|strong="H2091".

18 And there were six|strong="H8337" steps|strong="H4609" to the throne|strong="H3678", with a footstool|strong="H3534" of gold|strong="H2091", which were fastened|strong="H0270" to the throne|strong="H3678", and stays|strong="H3027" on each side of the sitting|strong="H3427" place|strong="H4725", and two|strong="H8147" lions|strong="H0738" standing|strong="H5975" by|strong="H0681" the stays|strong="H3027":

19 And twelve|strong="H8147" lions|strong="H0738" stood|strong="H5975" there on the one side and on the other upon the six|strong="H8337" steps|strong="H4609". There was not the like made|strong="H6213" in any kingdom|strong="H4467".

20 And all the drinking|strong="H4945" vessels|strong="H3627" of king|strong="H4428" Solomon|strong="H8010" were of gold|strong="H2091", and all the vessels|strong="H3627" of the house|strong="H1004" of the forest|strong="H3293" of Lebanon|strong="H3844" were of pure|strong="H5462" gold|strong="H2091": none were of silver|strong="H3701"; it was not any|strong="H3972" thing accounted|strong="H2803" of in the days|strong="H3117" of Solomon|strong="H8010".

21 For the king’s|strong="H4428" ships|strong="H0591" went|strong="H1980" to Tarshish|strong="H8659" with the servants|strong="H5650" of Huram|strong="H2361": every three|strong="H7969" years|strong="H8141" once|strong="H0259" came|strong="H0935" the ships|strong="H0591" of Tarshish|strong="H8659" bringing|strong="H5375" gold|strong="H2091", and silver|strong="H3701", ivory|strong="H8143", and apes|strong="H6971", and peacocks|strong="H8500".

22 And king|strong="H4428" Solomon|strong="H8010" passed|strong="H1431" all the kings|strong="H4428" of the earth|strong="H0776" in riches|strong="H6239" and wisdom|strong="H2451".

23 And all the kings|strong="H4428" of the earth|strong="H0776" sought|strong="H1245" the presence|strong="H6440" of Solomon|strong="H8010", to hear|strong="H8085" his wisdom|strong="H2451", that God|strong="H0430" had put|strong="H5414" in his heart|strong="H3820".

24 And they brought|strong="H0935" every man|strong="H0376" his present|strong="H4503", vessels|strong="H3627" of silver|strong="H3701", and vessels|strong="H3627" of gold|strong="H2091", and raiment|strong="H8008", harness|strong="H5402", and spices|strong="H1314", horses|strong="H5483", and mules|strong="H6505", a rate|strong="H1697" year|strong="H8141" by year|strong="H8141".

25 And Solomon|strong="H8010" had four|strong="H0702" thousand|strong="H0505" stalls|strong="H0723" for horses|strong="H5483" and chariots|strong="H4818", and twelve|strong="H8147" thousand|strong="H0505" horsemen|strong="H6571"; whom he bestowed|strong="H3240" in the chariot|strong="H7393" cities|strong="H5892", and with the king|strong="H4428" at Jerusalem|strong="H3389".

26 And he reigned|strong="H4910" over all the kings|strong="H4428" from the river|strong="H5104" even unto the land|strong="H0776" of the Philistines|strong="H6430", and to the border|strong="H1366" of Egypt|strong="H4714".

27 And the king|strong="H4428" made|strong="H5414" silver|strong="H3701" in Jerusalem|strong="H3389" as stones|strong="H0068", and cedar trees|strong="H0730" made|strong="H5414" he as the sycomore trees|strong="H8256" that are in the low plains|strong="H8219" in abundance|strong="H7230".

28 And they brought|strong="H3318" unto Solomon|strong="H8010" horses|strong="H5483" out of Egypt|strong="H4714", and out of all lands|strong="H0776".

29 Now the rest|strong="H7605" of the acts|strong="H1697" of Solomon|strong="H8010", first|strong="H7223" and last|strong="H0314", are they not written|strong="H3789" in the book|strong="H1697" of Nathan|strong="H5416" the prophet|strong="H5030", and in the prophecy|strong="H5016" of Ahijah|strong="H0281" the Shilonite|strong="H7888", and in the visions|strong="H2378" of Iddo|strong="H3260" the seer|strong="H2374" against Jeroboam|strong="H3379" the son|strong="H1121" of Nebat|strong="H5028"?

30 And Solomon|strong="H8010" reigned|strong="H4427" in Jerusalem|strong="H3389" over all Israel|strong="H3478" forty|strong="H0705" years|strong="H8141".

31 And Solomon|strong="H8010" slept|strong="H7901" with his fathers|strong="H0001", and he was buried|strong="H6912" in the city|strong="H5892" of David|strong="H1732" his father|strong="H0001": and Rehoboam|strong="H7346" his son|strong="H1121" reigned|strong="H4427" in his stead.
