Reis 7

King James (Authorized) Version (ENG-KJV2006)

But Solomon|strong="H8010" was building|strong="H1129" his own house|strong="H1004" thirteen|strong="H7969" years|strong="H8141", and he finished|strong="H3615" all his house|strong="H1004".

He built|strong="H1129" also the house|strong="H1004" of the forest|strong="H3293" of Lebanon|strong="H3844"; the length|strong="H0753" thereof was an hundred|strong="H3967" cubits|strong="H0520", and the breadth|strong="H7341" thereof fifty|strong="H2572" cubits|strong="H0520", and the height|strong="H6967" thereof thirty|strong="H7970" cubits|strong="H0520", upon four|strong="H0702" rows|strong="H2905" of cedar|strong="H0730" pillars|strong="H5982", with cedar|strong="H0730" beams|strong="H3773" upon the pillars|strong="H5982".

And it was covered|strong="H5603" with cedar|strong="H0730" above|strong="H4605" upon the beams|strong="H6763", that lay on forty|strong="H0705" five|strong="H2568" pillars|strong="H5982", fifteen|strong="H6240" in a row|strong="H2905".

And there were windows|strong="H8261" in three|strong="H7969" rows|strong="H2905", and light|strong="H4237" was against light|strong="H4237" in three|strong="H7969" ranks|strong="H6471".

And all the doors|strong="H6607" and posts|strong="H4201" were square|strong="H7251", with the windows|strong="H8260": and light|strong="H4237" was against|strong="H4136" light|strong="H4237" in three|strong="H7969" ranks|strong="H6471".

And he made|strong="H6213" a porch|strong="H0197" of pillars|strong="H5982"; the length|strong="H0753" thereof was fifty|strong="H2572" cubits|strong="H0520", and the breadth|strong="H7341" thereof thirty|strong="H7970" cubits|strong="H0520": and the porch|strong="H0197" was before|strong="H6440" them: and the other pillars|strong="H5982" and the thick beam|strong="H5646" were before them.

Then he made|strong="H6213" a porch|strong="H0197" for the throne|strong="H3678" where he might judge|strong="H8199", even the porch|strong="H0197" of judgment|strong="H4941": and it was covered|strong="H5603" with cedar|strong="H0730" from one side of the floor|strong="H7172" to the other|strong="H7172".

And his house|strong="H1004" where he dwelt|strong="H3427" had another|strong="H0312" court|strong="H2691" within|strong="H1004" the porch|strong="H0197", which was of the like work|strong="H4639". Solomon|strong="H8010" made|strong="H6213" also an house|strong="H1004" for Pharaoh’s|strong="H6547" daughter|strong="H1323", whom he had taken|strong="H3947" to wife, like unto this porch|strong="H0197".

All these were of costly|strong="H3368" stones|strong="H0068", according to the measures|strong="H4060" of hewed stones|strong="H1496", sawed|strong="H1641" with saws|strong="H4050", within|strong="H1004" and without|strong="H2351", even from the foundation|strong="H4527" unto the coping|strong="H2947", and so on the outside|strong="H2351" toward the great|strong="H1419" court|strong="H2691".

And the foundation|strong="H3245" was of costly|strong="H3368" stones|strong="H0068", even great|strong="H1419" stones|strong="H0068", stones|strong="H0068" of ten|strong="H6235" cubits|strong="H0520", and stones|strong="H0068" of eight|strong="H8083" cubits|strong="H0520".

And above|strong="H4605" were costly|strong="H3368" stones|strong="H0068", after the measures|strong="H4060" of hewed stones|strong="H1496", and cedars|strong="H0730".

And the great|strong="H1419" court|strong="H2691" round about|strong="H5439" was with three|strong="H7969" rows|strong="H2905" of hewed stones|strong="H1496", and a row|strong="H2905" of cedar|strong="H0730" beams|strong="H3773", both for the inner|strong="H6442" court|strong="H2691" of the house|strong="H1004" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, and for the porch|strong="H0197" of the house|strong="H1004".

And king|strong="H4428" Solomon|strong="H8010" sent|strong="H7971" and fetched|strong="H3947" Hiram|strong="H2438" out of Tyre|strong="H6865".

He was a widow’s|strong="H0802" son|strong="H1121" of the tribe|strong="H4294" of Naphtali|strong="H5321", and his father|strong="H0001" was a man|strong="H0376" of Tyre|strong="H6876", a worker|strong="H2790" in brass|strong="H5178": and he was filled|strong="H4390" with wisdom|strong="H2451", and understanding|strong="H8394", and cunning|strong="H1847" to work|strong="H6213" all works|strong="H4399" in brass|strong="H5178". And he came|strong="H0935" to king|strong="H4428" Solomon|strong="H8010", and wrought|strong="H6213" all his work|strong="H4399".

For he cast|strong="H6696" two|strong="H8147" pillars|strong="H5982" of brass|strong="H5178", of eighteen|strong="H8083" cubits|strong="H0520" high|strong="H6967" apiece|strong="H5982": and a line|strong="H2339" of twelve|strong="H8147" cubits|strong="H0520" did compass|strong="H5437" either|strong="H8145" of them about|strong="H5437".

And he made|strong="H6213" two|strong="H8147" chapiters|strong="H3805" of molten|strong="H3332" brass|strong="H5178", to set|strong="H5414" upon the tops|strong="H7218" of the pillars|strong="H5982": the height|strong="H6967" of the one|strong="H0259" chapiter|strong="H3805" was five|strong="H2568" cubits|strong="H0520", and the height|strong="H6967" of the other|strong="H8145" chapiter|strong="H3805" was five|strong="H2568" cubits|strong="H0520":

And nets|strong="H7638" of checker|strong="H7639" work|strong="H4639", and wreaths|strong="H1434" of chain|strong="H8333" work|strong="H4639", for the chapiters|strong="H3805" which were upon the top|strong="H7218" of the pillars|strong="H5982"; seven|strong="H7651" for the one|strong="H0259" chapiter|strong="H3805", and seven|strong="H7651" for the other|strong="H8145" chapiter|strong="H3805".

And he made|strong="H6213" the pillars|strong="H5982", and two|strong="H8147" rows|strong="H2905" round about|strong="H5439" upon the one|strong="H0259" network|strong="H7639", to cover|strong="H3680" the chapiters|strong="H3805" that were upon the top|strong="H7218", with pomegranates|strong="H7416": and so did|strong="H6213" he for the other|strong="H8145" chapiter|strong="H3805".

And the chapiters|strong="H3805" that were upon the top|strong="H7218" of the pillars|strong="H5982" were of lily|strong="H7799" work|strong="H4639" in the porch|strong="H0197", four|strong="H0702" cubits|strong="H0520".

And the chapiters|strong="H3805" upon the two|strong="H8147" pillars|strong="H5982" had pomegranates also above|strong="H4605", over against|strong="H5980" the belly|strong="H0990" which was by|strong="H5676" the network|strong="H7639": and the pomegranates|strong="H7416" were two hundred|strong="H3967" in rows|strong="H2905" round about|strong="H5439" upon the other|strong="H8145" chapiter|strong="H3805".

And he set up|strong="H6965" the pillars|strong="H5982" in the porch|strong="H0197" of the temple|strong="H1964": and he set up|strong="H6965" the right|strong="H3233" pillar|strong="H5982", and called|strong="H7121" the name|strong="H8034" thereof Jachin|strong="H3199": and he set up|strong="H6965" the left|strong="H8042" pillar|strong="H5982", and called|strong="H7121" the name|strong="H8034" thereof Boaz|strong="H1162".

And upon the top|strong="H7218" of the pillars|strong="H5982" was lily|strong="H7799" work|strong="H4639": so was the work|strong="H4399" of the pillars|strong="H5982" finished|strong="H8552".

And he made|strong="H6213" a molten|strong="H3332" sea|strong="H3220", ten|strong="H6235" cubits|strong="H0520" from the one brim|strong="H8193" to the other|strong="H8193": it was round|strong="H5696" all about|strong="H5439", and his height|strong="H6967" was five|strong="H2568" cubits|strong="H0520": and a line|strong="H6957" of thirty|strong="H7970" cubits|strong="H0520" did compass|strong="H5437" it round about|strong="H5439".

And under the brim|strong="H8193" of it round about|strong="H5439" there were knops|strong="H6497" compassing|strong="H5437" it, ten|strong="H6235" in a cubit|strong="H0520", compassing|strong="H5362" the sea|strong="H3220" round about|strong="H5439": the knops|strong="H6497" were cast|strong="H3333" in two|strong="H8147" rows|strong="H2905", when it was cast|strong="H3332".

It stood|strong="H5975" upon twelve|strong="H8147" oxen|strong="H1241", three|strong="H7969" looking|strong="H6437" toward the north|strong="H6828", and three|strong="H7969" looking|strong="H6437" toward the west|strong="H3220", and three|strong="H7969" looking|strong="H6437" toward the south|strong="H5045", and three|strong="H7969" looking|strong="H6437" toward the east|strong="H4217": and the sea|strong="H3220" was set above|strong="H4605" upon them, and all their hinder parts|strong="H0268" were inward|strong="H1004".

And it was an hand breadth|strong="H2947" thick|strong="H5672", and the brim|strong="H8193" thereof was wrought|strong="H4639" like the brim|strong="H8193" of a cup|strong="H3563", with flowers|strong="H6525" of lilies|strong="H7799": it contained|strong="H3557" two thousand|strong="H0505" baths|strong="H1324".

And he made|strong="H6213" ten|strong="H6235" bases|strong="H4350" of brass|strong="H5178"; four|strong="H0702" cubits|strong="H0520" was the length|strong="H0753" of one|strong="H0259" base|strong="H4350", and four|strong="H0702" cubits|strong="H0520" the breadth|strong="H7341" thereof, and three|strong="H7969" cubits|strong="H0520" the height|strong="H6967" of it.

And the work|strong="H4639" of the bases|strong="H4350" was on this manner: they had borders|strong="H4526", and the borders|strong="H4526" were between the ledges|strong="H7948":

And on the borders|strong="H4526" that were between the ledges|strong="H7948" were lions|strong="H0738", oxen|strong="H1241", and cherubims|strong="H3742": and upon the ledges|strong="H7948" there was a base|strong="H3653" above|strong="H4605": and beneath the lions|strong="H0738" and oxen|strong="H1241" were certain additions|strong="H3914" made of thin|strong="H4174" work|strong="H4639".

And every|strong="H0259" base|strong="H4350" had four|strong="H0702" brasen|strong="H5178" wheels|strong="H0212", and plates|strong="H5633" of brass|strong="H5178": and the four|strong="H0702" corners|strong="H6471" thereof had undersetters|strong="H3802": under the laver|strong="H3595" were undersetters|strong="H3802" molten|strong="H3332", at the side|strong="H5676" of every|strong="H0376" addition|strong="H3914".

And the mouth|strong="H6310" of it within|strong="H1004" the chapiter|strong="H3805" and above|strong="H4605" was a cubit|strong="H0520": but the mouth|strong="H6310" thereof was round|strong="H5696" after the work|strong="H4639" of the base|strong="H3653", a cubit|strong="H0520" and an half|strong="H2677": and also upon the mouth|strong="H6310" of it were gravings|strong="H4734" with their borders|strong="H4526", foursquare|strong="H7251", not round|strong="H5696".

And under|strong="H8478" the borders|strong="H4526" were four|strong="H0702" wheels|strong="H0212"; and the axletrees|strong="H3027" of the wheels|strong="H0212" were joined to the base|strong="H4350": and the height|strong="H6967" of a|strong="H0259" wheel|strong="H0212" was a cubit|strong="H0520" and half|strong="H2677" a cubit|strong="H0520".

And the work|strong="H4639" of the wheels|strong="H0212" was like the work|strong="H4639" of a chariot|strong="H4818" wheel|strong="H0212": their axletrees|strong="H3027", and their naves|strong="H1354", and their felloes|strong="H2839", and their spokes|strong="H2840", were all molten|strong="H3332".

And there were four|strong="H0702" undersetters|strong="H3802" to the four|strong="H0702" corners|strong="H6438" of one|strong="H0259" base|strong="H4350": and the undersetters|strong="H3802" were of the very base|strong="H4350" itself.

And in the top|strong="H7218" of the base|strong="H4350" was there a round|strong="H5696" compass|strong="H5439" of half|strong="H2677" a cubit|strong="H0520" high|strong="H6967": and on the top|strong="H7218" of the base|strong="H4350" the ledges|strong="H3027" thereof and the borders|strong="H4526" thereof were of the same.

For on the plates|strong="H3871" of the ledges|strong="H3027" thereof, and on the borders|strong="H4526" thereof, he graved|strong="H6605" cherubims|strong="H3742", lions|strong="H0738", and palm trees|strong="H8561", according to the proportion|strong="H4626" of every one|strong="H0376", and additions|strong="H3914" round about|strong="H5439".

After this manner he made|strong="H6213" the ten|strong="H6235" bases|strong="H4350": all of them had one|strong="H0259" casting|strong="H4165", one|strong="H0259" measure|strong="H4060", and one|strong="H0259" size|strong="H7095".

Then made|strong="H6213" he ten|strong="H6235" lavers|strong="H3595" of brass|strong="H5178": one|strong="H0259" laver|strong="H3595" contained|strong="H3557" forty|strong="H0705" baths|strong="H1324": and every|strong="H0259" laver|strong="H3595" was four|strong="H0702" cubits|strong="H0520": and upon every one|strong="H0259" of the ten|strong="H6235" bases|strong="H4350" one|strong="H0259" laver|strong="H3595".

And he put|strong="H5414" five|strong="H2568" bases|strong="H4350" on the right|strong="H3225" side|strong="H3802" of the house|strong="H1004", and five|strong="H2568" on the left|strong="H8040" side|strong="H3802" of the house|strong="H1004": and he set|strong="H5414" the sea|strong="H3220" on the right|strong="H3233" side|strong="H3802" of the house|strong="H1004" eastward|strong="H6924" over against|strong="H4136" the south|strong="H5045".

And Hiram|strong="H2438" made|strong="H6213" the lavers|strong="H3595", and the shovels|strong="H3257", and the basons|strong="H4219". So Hiram|strong="H2438" made|strong="H3615" an end of doing|strong="H6213" all the work|strong="H4399" that he made|strong="H6213" king|strong="H4428" Solomon|strong="H8010" for the house|strong="H1004" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*:

The two|strong="H8147" pillars|strong="H5982", and the two bowls|strong="H1543" of the chapiters|strong="H3805" that were on the top|strong="H7218" of the two|strong="H8147" pillars|strong="H5982"; and the two|strong="H8147" networks|strong="H7639", to cover|strong="H3680" the two|strong="H8147" bowls|strong="H1543" of the chapiters|strong="H3805" which were upon the top|strong="H7218" of the pillars|strong="H5982";

And four|strong="H0702" hundred|strong="H3967" pomegranates|strong="H7416" for the two|strong="H8147" networks|strong="H7639", even two|strong="H8147" rows|strong="H2905" of pomegranates|strong="H7416" for one|strong="H0259" network|strong="H7639", to cover|strong="H3680" the two|strong="H8147" bowls|strong="H1543" of the chapiters|strong="H3805" that were upon|strong="H6440" the pillars|strong="H5982";

And the ten|strong="H6235" bases|strong="H4350", and ten|strong="H6235" lavers|strong="H3595" on the bases|strong="H4350";

And one|strong="H0259" sea|strong="H3220", and twelve|strong="H8147" oxen|strong="H1241" under the sea|strong="H3220";

And the pots|strong="H5518", and the shovels|strong="H3257", and the basons|strong="H4219": and all these vessels|strong="H3627", which Hiram|strong="H2438" made|strong="H6213" to king|strong="H4428" Solomon|strong="H8010" for the house|strong="H1004" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, were of bright|strong="H4178" brass|strong="H5178".

In the plain|strong="H3603" of Jordan|strong="H3383" did the king|strong="H4428" cast|strong="H3332" them, in the clay|strong="H4568" ground|strong="H0127" between Succoth|strong="H5523" and Zarthan|strong="H6891".

And Solomon|strong="H8010" left|strong="H3240" all the vessels|strong="H3627" unweighed, because they were exceeding|strong="H3966" many|strong="H7230": neither was the weight|strong="H4948" of the brass|strong="H5178" found out|strong="H2713".

And Solomon|strong="H8010" made|strong="H6213" all the vessels|strong="H3627" that pertained unto the house|strong="H1004" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*: the altar|strong="H4196" of gold|strong="H2091", and the table|strong="H7979" of gold|strong="H2091", whereupon the shewbread|strong="H3899" was,

And the candlesticks|strong="H4501" of pure|strong="H5462" gold|strong="H2091", five|strong="H2568" on the right|strong="H3225" side, and five|strong="H2568" on the left|strong="H8040", before|strong="H6440" the oracle|strong="H1687", with the flowers|strong="H6525", and the lamps|strong="H5216", and the tongs|strong="H4457" of gold|strong="H2091",

And the bowls|strong="H5592", and the snuffers|strong="H4212", and the basons|strong="H4219", and the spoons|strong="H3709", and the censers|strong="H4289" of pure|strong="H5462" gold|strong="H2091"; and the hinges|strong="H6596" of gold|strong="H2091", both for the doors|strong="H1817" of the inner|strong="H6442" house|strong="H1004", the most|strong="H6944" holy|strong="H6944" place, and for the doors|strong="H1817" of the house|strong="H1004", to wit, of the temple|strong="H1964".

So was ended|strong="H7999" all the work|strong="H4399" that king|strong="H4428" Solomon|strong="H8010" made|strong="H6213" for the house|strong="H1004" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*. And Solomon|strong="H8010" brought in|strong="H0935" the things which David|strong="H1732" his father|strong="H0001" had dedicated|strong="H6944"; even the silver|strong="H3701", and the gold|strong="H2091", and the vessels|strong="H3627", did he put|strong="H5414" among the treasures|strong="H0214" of the house|strong="H1004" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
