3 Elihoreph|strong="H0456" and Ahiah|strong="H0281", the sons|strong="H1121" of Shisha|strong="H7894", scribes|strong="H5608"; Jehoshaphat|strong="H3092" the son|strong="H1121" of Ahilud|strong="H0286", the recorder|strong="H2142".
4 And Benaiah|strong="H1141" the son|strong="H1121" of Jehoiada|strong="H3077" was over the host|strong="H6635": and Zadok|strong="H6659" and Abiathar|strong="H0054" were the priests|strong="H3548":
5 And Azariah|strong="H5838" the son|strong="H1121" of Nathan|strong="H5416" was over the officers|strong="H5324": and Zabud|strong="H2071" the son|strong="H1121" of Nathan|strong="H5416" was principal officer|strong="H3548", and the king’s|strong="H4428" friend|strong="H7463":

7 And Solomon|strong="H8010" had twelve|strong="H8147" officers|strong="H5324" over all Israel|strong="H3478", which provided victuals|strong="H3557" for the king|strong="H4428" and his household|strong="H1004": each man|strong="H0259" his month|strong="H2320" in a year|strong="H8141" made provision|strong="H3557".

21 And Solomon|strong="H8010" reigned|strong="H4910" over all kingdoms|strong="H4467" from the river|strong="H5104" unto the land|strong="H0776" of the Philistines|strong="H6430", and unto the border|strong="H1366" of Egypt|strong="H4714": they brought|strong="H5066" presents|strong="H4503", and served|strong="H5647" Solomon|strong="H8010" all the days|strong="H3117" of his life|strong="H2416".
22 And Solomon’s|strong="H8010" provision|strong="H3899" for one|strong="H0259" day|strong="H3117" was thirty|strong="H7970" measures|strong="H3734" of fine flour|strong="H5560", and threescore|strong="H8346" measures|strong="H3734" of meal|strong="H7058",
23 Ten|strong="H6235" fat|strong="H1277" oxen|strong="H1241", and twenty|strong="H6242" oxen|strong="H1241" out of the pastures|strong="H7471", and an hundred|strong="H3967" sheep|strong="H6629", beside harts|strong="H0354", and roebucks|strong="H6643", and fallowdeer|strong="H3180", and fatted|strong="H0075" fowl|strong="H1257".
24 For he had dominion|strong="H7287" over all the region on this side|strong="H5676" the river|strong="H5104", from Tiphsah|strong="H8607" even to Azzah|strong="H5804", over all the kings|strong="H4428" on this side|strong="H5676" the river|strong="H5104": and he had peace|strong="H7965" on all sides|strong="H5650" round about|strong="H5439" him.
25 And Judah|strong="H3063" and Israel|strong="H3478" dwelt|strong="H3427" safely|strong="H0983", every man|strong="H0376" under his vine|strong="H1612" and under his fig tree|strong="H8384", from Dan|strong="H1835" even to Beer-sheba|strong="H0884", all the days|strong="H3117" of Solomon|strong="H8010".
26 And Solomon|strong="H8010" had forty|strong="H0705" thousand|strong="H0505" stalls|strong="H0723" of horses|strong="H5483" for his chariots|strong="H4817", and twelve|strong="H8147" thousand|strong="H0505" horsemen|strong="H6571".
27 And those officers|strong="H5324" provided victual|strong="H3557" for king|strong="H4428" Solomon|strong="H8010", and for all that came|strong="H7131" unto king|strong="H4428" Solomon’s|strong="H8010" table|strong="H7979", every man|strong="H0376" in his month|strong="H2320": they lacked|strong="H5737" nothing|strong="H1697".
28 Barley|strong="H8184" also and straw|strong="H8401" for the horses|strong="H5483" and dromedaries|strong="H7409" brought|strong="H0935" they unto the place|strong="H4725" where the officers were, every man|strong="H0376" according to his charge|strong="H4941".
29 And God|strong="H0430" gave|strong="H5414" Solomon|strong="H8010" wisdom|strong="H2451" and understanding|strong="H8394" exceeding|strong="H3966" much|strong="H7235", and largeness|strong="H7341" of heart|strong="H3820", even as the sand|strong="H2344" that is on the sea|strong="H3220" shore|strong="H8193".
30 And Solomon’s|strong="H8010" wisdom|strong="H2451" excelled|strong="H7235" the wisdom|strong="H2451" of all the children|strong="H1121" of the east country|strong="H6924", and all the wisdom|strong="H2451" of Egypt|strong="H4714".
31 For he was wiser|strong="H2449" than all men|strong="H0120"; than Ethan|strong="H0387" the Ezrahite|strong="H0250", and Heman|strong="H1968", and Chalcol|strong="H3633", and Darda|strong="H1862", the sons|strong="H1121" of Mahol|strong="H4235": and his fame|strong="H8034" was in all nations|strong="H1471" round about|strong="H5439".
32 And he spake|strong="H1696" three|strong="H7969" thousand|strong="H0505" proverbs|strong="H4912": and his songs|strong="H7892" were a thousand|strong="H0505" and five|strong="H2568".

34 And there came|strong="H0935" of all people|strong="H5971" to hear|strong="H8085" the wisdom|strong="H2451" of Solomon|strong="H8010", from all kings|strong="H4428" of the earth|strong="H0776", which had heard|strong="H8085" of his wisdom|strong="H2451".
