And|strong="G2532" if|strong="G1437" any man|strong="G5100" sin|strong="G0264", we have|strong="G2192" an advocate|strong="G3875" with|strong="G4314" the Father|strong="G3962", Jesus|strong="G2424" Christ|strong="G5547" the righteous|strong="G1342":
2 And|strong="G2532" he|strong="G0846" is|strong="G2076" the propitiation|strong="G2434" for|strong="G4012" our|strong="G2257" sins|strong="G0266": and|strong="G1161" not|strong="G3756" for|strong="G4012" ours|strong="G2251" only|strong="G3440", but|strong="G0235" also|strong="G2532" for|strong="G4012" the sins of the|strong="G2889" whole|strong="G3650" world|strong="G2889".
3 And|strong="G2532" hereby|strong="G5129" we|strong="G1097" do|strong="G1722" know|strong="G1097" that|strong="G3754" we know|strong="G1097" him|strong="G0846", if|strong="G1437" we keep|strong="G5083" his|strong="G0846" commandments|strong="G1785".

19 They went|strong="G1831" out from|strong="G1537" us|strong="G2257", but|strong="G0235" they were|strong="G2258" not|strong="G3756" of|strong="G1537" us|strong="G2257"; for|strong="G1063" if|strong="G1487" they had been|strong="G2258" of|strong="G1537" us|strong="G2257", they would|strong="G0302" no doubt have continued|strong="G3306" with|strong="G3326" us|strong="G2257": but|strong="G0235" they went out, that|strong="G2443" they might be made manifest|strong="G5319" that|strong="G3754" they were|strong="G1526" not|strong="G3756" all|strong="G3956" of|strong="G1537" us|strong="G2257".

21 I have|strong="G1125" not|strong="G3756" written|strong="G1125" unto you|strong="G5213" because|strong="G3754" ye know|strong="G1492" not|strong="G3756" the truth|strong="G0225", but|strong="G0235" because|strong="G3754" ye know|strong="G1492" it|strong="G0846", and|strong="G2532" that|strong="G3754" no|strong="G3756" lie|strong="G5579" is|strong="G2076" of|strong="G1537" the truth|strong="G0225".
22 Who|strong="G5101" is|strong="G2076" a liar|strong="G5583" but|strong="G1487" he that denieth|strong="G0720" that|strong="G3754" Jesus|strong="G2424" is|strong="G2076" the Christ|strong="G5547"? He is|strong="G2076" antichrist|strong="G0500", that|strong="G3778" denieth|strong="G0720" the Father|strong="G3962" and|strong="G2532" the Son|strong="G5207".
23 Whosoever|strong="G3956" denieth|strong="G0720" the Son|strong="G5207", the same hath|strong="G2192" not|strong="G3761" the Father|strong="G3962": [but] \+w he that acknowledgeth|strong="G3670"\+w* \+w the Son|strong="G5207"\+w* \+w hath|strong="G2192"\+w* \+w the Father|strong="G3962"\+w* \+w also|strong="G2532"\+w*.
24 Let that|strong="G3739" therefore|strong="G3767" abide|strong="G3306" in|strong="G1722" you|strong="G5213", which|strong="G3739" ye have heard|strong="G0191" from|strong="G0575" the beginning|strong="G0746". If|strong="G1437" that which|strong="G3739" ye have heard|strong="G0191" from|strong="G0575" the beginning|strong="G0746" shall remain|strong="G3306" in|strong="G1722" you|strong="G5213", ye|strong="G5210" also|strong="G2532" shall continue|strong="G3306" in|strong="G1722" the Son|strong="G5207", and|strong="G2532" in|strong="G1722" the Father|strong="G3962".

29 If|strong="G1437" ye know|strong="G1492" that|strong="G3754" he is|strong="G2076" righteous|strong="G1342", ye know|strong="G1097" that|strong="G3754" every one|strong="G3956" that|strong="G3588" doeth|strong="G4160" righteousness|strong="G1343" is born|strong="G1080" of|strong="G1537" him|strong="G0846".
