1 Davi convocou todos os oficiais de Israel para irem a Jerusalém: os líderes das tribos, os comandantes das divisões do exército, os generais e os capitães, os administradores das propriedades e dos rebanhos do rei, os oficiais do palácio, os guerreiros valentes, e todos os outros soldados do reino.
2 Then David|strong="H1732" the king|strong="H4428" stood up|strong="H6965" upon his feet|strong="H7272", and said|strong="H0559", Hear|strong="H8085" me, my brethren|strong="H0251", and my people|strong="H5971": As for me, I had in mine heart|strong="H3824" to build|strong="H1129" an house|strong="H1004" of rest|strong="H4496" for the ark|strong="H0727" of the covenant|strong="H1285" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, and for the footstool|strong="H1916" of our God|strong="H0430", and had made ready|strong="H3559" for the building|strong="H1129":
2 Davi se pôs em pé e disse: “Meus irmãos e meu povo! Era meu desejo construir um templo onde a arca da aliança do S enhor , o lugar de descanso dos pés de nosso Deus, repousasse para sempre. Fiz os preparativos necessários para construí-lo,
3 But God|strong="H0430" said|strong="H0559" unto me, Thou shalt not build|strong="H1129" an house|strong="H1004" for my name|strong="H8034", because thou hast been a man|strong="H0376" of war|strong="H4421", and hast shed|strong="H8210" blood|strong="H1818".
3 mas Deus me disse: ‘Você não construirá um templo em honra ao meu nome, pois é homem de guerra e derramou muito sangue’.
4 Howbeit the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* God|strong="H0430" of Israel|strong="H3478" chose|strong="H0977" me before all the house|strong="H1004" of my father|strong="H0001" to be king|strong="H4428" over Israel|strong="H3478" for ever|strong="H5769": for he hath chosen|strong="H0977" Judah|strong="H3063" to be the ruler|strong="H5057"; and of the house|strong="H1004" of Judah|strong="H3063", the house|strong="H1004" of my father|strong="H0001"; and among the sons|strong="H1121" of my father|strong="H0001" he liked|strong="H7521" me to make me king|strong="H4427" over all Israel|strong="H3478":
4 “Contudo, o S enhor , o Deus de Israel, me escolheu dentre toda a família de meu pai para ser rei em Israel, para sempre. Escolheu a tribo de Judá para governar e, dentre as famílias de Judá, escolheu a de meu pai. Dentre os filhos de meu pai, agradou-se de me fazer rei sobre todo o Israel.
5 And of all my sons|strong="H1121", (for the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* hath given|strong="H5414" me many|strong="H7227" sons|strong="H1121",) he hath chosen|strong="H0977" Solomon|strong="H8010" my son|strong="H1121" to sit|strong="H3427" upon the throne|strong="H3678" of the kingdom|strong="H4438" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* over Israel|strong="H3478".
5 E, dentre os muitos filhos que o S enhor me deu, escolheu Salomão para ser meu sucessor no trono de Israel e para governar o reino do S enhor .
6 And he said|strong="H0559" unto me, Solomon|strong="H8010" thy son|strong="H1121", he shall build|strong="H1129" my house|strong="H1004" and my courts|strong="H2691": for I have chosen|strong="H0977" him to be my son|strong="H1121", and I will be his father|strong="H0001".
6 Ele me disse: ‘Seu filho Salomão construirá meu templo e meus pátios, pois eu o escolhi para ser meu filho, e eu serei seu pai.
7 Moreover I will establish|strong="H3559" his kingdom|strong="H4438" for ever|strong="H5769", if he be constant|strong="H2388" to do|strong="H6213" my commandments|strong="H4687" and my judgments|strong="H4941", as at this day|strong="H3117".
7 E, se ele continuar a obedecer a meus mandamentos e estatutos, como obedece hoje, farei seu reino durar para sempre’.
8 Now therefore in the sight|strong="H5869" of all Israel|strong="H3478" the congregation|strong="H6951" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, and in the audience|strong="H0241" of our God|strong="H0430", keep|strong="H8104" and seek|strong="H1875" for all the commandments|strong="H4687" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* your God|strong="H0430": that ye may possess|strong="H3423" this good|strong="H2896" land|strong="H0776", and leave it for an inheritance|strong="H5157" for your children|strong="H1121" after|strong="H0310" you for|strong="H5704" ever|strong="H5769".
8 “Agora, portanto, com Deus como nossa testemunha, e diante de todo o Israel, a comunidade do S enhor , eu lhes digo: tenham o cuidado de obedecer a todos os mandamentos do S enhor , seu Deus, para que continuem a possuir esta boa terra e a deixem para seus filhos como herança permanente.
9 And thou, Solomon|strong="H8010" my son|strong="H1121", know|strong="H3045" thou the God|strong="H0430" of thy father|strong="H0001", and serve|strong="H5647" him with a perfect|strong="H8003" heart|strong="H3820" and with a willing|strong="H2655" mind|strong="H5315": for the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* searcheth|strong="H1875" all hearts|strong="H3824", and understandeth|strong="H0995" all the imaginations|strong="H3336" of the thoughts|strong="H4284": if thou seek|strong="H1875" him, he will be found|strong="H4672" of thee; but if thou forsake|strong="H5800" him, he will cast thee off|strong="H2186" for ever|strong="H5703".
9 “E você, meu filho Salomão, aprenda a conhecer o Deus de seus antepassados. Sirva-o de todo o coração e com a alma alegre. Pois o S enhor vê todos os corações e conhece todos os planos e pensamentos. Se você o buscar, o encontrará. Mas, se você o abandonar, ele o rejeitará para sempre.
10 Take heed|strong="H7200" now; for the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* hath chosen|strong="H0977" thee to build|strong="H1129" an house|strong="H1004" for the sanctuary|strong="H4720": be strong|strong="H2388", and do|strong="H6213" it.
10 Portanto, leve isto a sério. O S enhor o escolheu para construir um templo que sirva de santuário. Seja forte e faça o trabalho”.
11 Then David|strong="H1732" gave|strong="H5414" to Solomon|strong="H8010" his son|strong="H1121" the pattern|strong="H8403" of the porch|strong="H0197", and of the houses|strong="H1004" thereof, and of the treasuries|strong="H1597" thereof, and of the upper chambers|strong="H5944" thereof, and of the inner|strong="H6442" parlours|strong="H2315" thereof, and of the place|strong="H1004" of the mercy seat|strong="H3727",
11 Então Davi entregou a seu filho Salomão as plantas do templo e de tudo que ficava ao redor, incluindo a sala de entrada, os depósitos, as salas dos andares superiores, as salas internas e o lugar de expiação.
12 And the pattern|strong="H8403" of all that he had by the spirit|strong="H7307", of the courts|strong="H2691" of the house|strong="H1004" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, and of all the chambers|strong="H3957" round about|strong="H5439", of the treasuries|strong="H0214" of the house|strong="H1004" of God|strong="H0430", and of the treasuries|strong="H0214" of the dedicated things|strong="H6944":
12 Davi também entregou a Salomão as plantas de tudo que havia planejado para os pátios do templo do S enhor , das salas externas, dos tesouros e dos depósitos para as ofertas dedicadas ao S enhor .
13 Also for the courses|strong="H4256" of the priests|strong="H3548" and the Levites|strong="H3881", and for all the work|strong="H4399" of the service|strong="H5656" of the house|strong="H1004" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, and for all the vessels|strong="H3627" of service|strong="H5656" in the house|strong="H1004" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
13 Deu, ainda, instruções a respeito das divisões dos sacerdotes e dos levitas, além das responsabilidades no templo do S enhor e das especificações para os objetos usados no serviço do templo.
14 He gave of gold|strong="H2091" by weight|strong="H4948" for things of gold|strong="H2091", for all instruments|strong="H3627" of all manner of service|strong="H5656"; silver also for all instruments|strong="H3627" of silver|strong="H3701" by weight|strong="H4948", for all instruments|strong="H3627" of every kind of service|strong="H5656":
14 Davi deu instruções a respeito de quanto ouro e quanta prata deviam ser usados para confeccionar esses objetos para o serviço.
15 Even the weight|strong="H4948" for the candlesticks|strong="H4501" of gold|strong="H2091", and for their lamps|strong="H5216" of gold|strong="H2091", by weight|strong="H4948" for every candlestick|strong="H4501", and for the lamps|strong="H5216" thereof: and for the candlesticks|strong="H4501" of silver|strong="H3701" by weight|strong="H4948", both for the candlestick|strong="H4501", and also for the lamps|strong="H5216" thereof, according to the use|strong="H5656" of every candlestick|strong="H4501".
15 Informou a quantidade de ouro necessária para os candelabros e as lâmpadas de ouro, e a quantidade de prata necessária para os candelabros e as lâmpadas de prata, de acordo com o uso de cada um.
16 And by weight|strong="H4948" he gave gold|strong="H2091" for the tables|strong="H7979" of shewbread|strong="H4635", for every table|strong="H7979"; and likewise silver|strong="H3701" for the tables|strong="H7979" of silver|strong="H3701":
16 Especificou a quantidade de ouro para a mesa sobre a qual seriam colocados os pães da presença, e a quantidade de prata para as outras mesas.
17 Also pure|strong="H2889" gold|strong="H2091" for the fleshhooks|strong="H4207", and the bowls|strong="H4219", and the cups|strong="H7184": and for the golden|strong="H2091" basons|strong="H3713" he gave gold by weight|strong="H4948" for every bason|strong="H3713"; and likewise silver by weight|strong="H4948" for every bason|strong="H3713" of silver|strong="H3701":
17 Davi também especificou a quantidade de ouro puro para os garfos, as bacias, os jarros e as tigelas, bem como a quantidade de prata para as tigelas.
18 And for the altar|strong="H4196" of incense|strong="H7004" refined|strong="H2212" gold|strong="H2091" by weight|strong="H4948"; and gold|strong="H2091" for the pattern|strong="H8403" of the chariot|strong="H4818" of the cherubims|strong="H3742", that spread out|strong="H6566" their wings, and covered|strong="H5526" the ark|strong="H0727" of the covenant|strong="H1285" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
18 Especificou, ainda, a quantidade de ouro refinado para o altar de incenso. E, por fim, entregou-lhe o projeto para o trono do S enhor , os querubins de ouro cujas asas se estendiam sobre a arca da aliança do S enhor .
19 All this, said David, the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* made me understand|strong="H7919" in writing|strong="H3791" by his hand|strong="H3027" upon me, even all the works|strong="H4399" of this pattern|strong="H8403".
19 Davi disse a Salomão: “Todos os detalhes dessas plantas me foram escritos sob a direção do S enhor ”.
20 And David|strong="H1732" said|strong="H0559" to Solomon|strong="H8010" his son|strong="H1121", Be strong|strong="H2388" and of good courage|strong="H0553", and do|strong="H6213" it: fear|strong="H3372" not, nor be dismayed|strong="H2865": for the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* God|strong="H0430", even my God|strong="H0430", will be with thee; he will not fail|strong="H7503" thee, nor forsake|strong="H5800" thee, until thou hast finished|strong="H3615" all the work|strong="H4399" for the service|strong="H5656" of the house|strong="H1004" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
20 E continuou: “Seja forte e corajoso e faça o trabalho. Não tenha medo nem desanime, pois o S enhor Deus, meu Deus, está com você. Ele não o deixará nem o abandonará durante toda a construção do templo do S enhor .
21 And, behold, the courses|strong="H4256" of the priests|strong="H3548" and the Levites|strong="H3881", even they shall be with thee for all the service|strong="H5656" of the house|strong="H1004" of God|strong="H0430": and there shall be with thee for all manner of workmanship|strong="H4399" every willing|strong="H5081" skilful man|strong="H2451", for any manner of service|strong="H5656": also the princes|strong="H8269" and all the people|strong="H5971" will be wholly at thy commandment|strong="H1697".
21 As divisões dos sacerdotes e dos levitas servirão no templo do S enhor . Outros, com todo tipo de habilidade, se oferecerão para ajudar, e os oficiais e todo o povo estarão às suas ordens”.
