1 Quando já era bem velho, Davi constituiu o seu filho Salomão rei sobre Israel.
2 And he gathered together|strong="H0622" all the princes|strong="H8269" of Israel|strong="H3478", with the priests|strong="H3548" and the Levites|strong="H3881".
2 Davi reuniu todos os chefes de Israel, bem como os sacerdotes e levitas.

3 Foram contados os levitas de trinta anos para cima, e seu número, contados um por um, foi de trinta e oito mil homens.

4 Destes, havia vinte e quatro mil para supervisionarem a obra da Casa do Senhor , seis mil oficiais e juízes,
5 Moreover four|strong="H0702" thousand|strong="H0505" were porters|strong="H7778"; and four|strong="H0702" thousand|strong="H0505" praised|strong="H1984" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* with the instruments|strong="H3627" which I made|strong="H6213", said David, to praise|strong="H1984" therewith.
5 quatro mil porteiros e quatro mil para louvarem o Senhor com os instrumentos que Davi fez para esse fim.
6 And David|strong="H1732" divided|strong="H2505" them into courses|strong="H4256" among the sons|strong="H1121" of Levi|strong="H3878", namely, Gershon|strong="H1648", Kohath|strong="H6955", and Merari|strong="H4847".
6 Davi os repartiu por turnos, segundo os filhos de Levi: Gérson, Coate e Merari.
7 Of the Gershonites|strong="H1649" were, Laadan|strong="H3936", and Shimei|strong="H8096".
7 Os filhos de Gérson foram: Ladã e Simei.
8 The sons|strong="H1121" of Laadan|strong="H3936"; the chief|strong="H7218" was Jehiel|strong="H3171", and Zetham|strong="H2241", and Joel|strong="H3100", three|strong="H7969".
8 Os filhos de Ladã foram: Jeiel, o chefe, Zetã e Joel, três ao todo.
9 The sons|strong="H1121" of Shimei|strong="H8096"; Shelomith|strong="H8019", and Haziel|strong="H2381", and Haran|strong="H2039", three|strong="H7969". These were the chief|strong="H7218" of the fathers|strong="H0001" of Laadan|strong="H3936".
9 Os filhos de Simei foram: Selomite, Haziel e Harã, três ao todo. Estes foram os chefes das famílias de Ladã.
10 And the sons|strong="H1121" of Shimei|strong="H8096" were, Jahath|strong="H3189", Zina|strong="H2126", and Jeush|strong="H3266", and Beriah|strong="H1283". These four|strong="H0702" were the sons|strong="H1121" of Shimei|strong="H8096".
10 Os filhos de Simei foram: Jaate, Ziza, Jeús e Berias. Estes foram os filhos de Simei, quatro ao todo.
11 And Jahath|strong="H3189" was the chief|strong="H7218", and Zizah|strong="H2125" the second|strong="H8145": but Jeush|strong="H3266" and Beriah|strong="H1283" had not many|strong="H7235" sons|strong="H1121"; therefore they were in one|strong="H0259" reckoning|strong="H6486", according to their father’s|strong="H0001" house|strong="H1004".
11 Jaate era o chefe e Ziza era o segundo. Jeús e Berias não tiveram muitos filhos e por isso estes dois foram contados como uma só família.
12 The sons|strong="H1121" of Kohath|strong="H6955"; Amram|strong="H6019", Izhar|strong="H3324", Hebron|strong="H2275", and Uzziel|strong="H5816", four|strong="H0702".
12 Os filhos de Coate foram: Anrão, Isar, Hebrom e Uziel, quatro ao todo.
13 The sons|strong="H1121" of Amram|strong="H6019"; Aaron|strong="H0175" and Moses|strong="H4872": and Aaron|strong="H0175" was separated|strong="H0914", that he should sanctify|strong="H6942" the most|strong="H6944" holy things|strong="H6944", he and his sons|strong="H1121" for|strong="H5704" ever|strong="H5769", to burn incense|strong="H6999" before|strong="H6440" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, to minister|strong="H8334" unto him, and to bless|strong="H1288" in his name|strong="H8034" for|strong="H5704" ever|strong="H5769".
13 Os filhos de Anrão foram: Arão e Moisés. Arão foi separado para servir no Santo dos Santos, ele e os seus filhos, para sempre, e para queimar incenso diante do Senhor , para o servir e para dar a bênção em seu nome, para sempre.
14 Now concerning Moses|strong="H4872" the man|strong="H0376" of God|strong="H0430", his sons|strong="H1121" were named|strong="H7121" of the tribe|strong="H7626" of Levi|strong="H3878".
14 Quanto a Moisés, homem de Deus, seus filhos foram contados entre a tribo de Levi.
15 The sons|strong="H1121" of Moses|strong="H4872" were, Gershom|strong="H1647", and Eliezer|strong="H0461".
15 Os filhos de Moisés foram: Gérson e Eliézer.
16 Of the sons|strong="H1121" of Gershom|strong="H1647", Shebuel|strong="H7619" was the chief|strong="H7218".
16 O filho de Gérson foi Sebuel, o chefe.
17 And the sons|strong="H1121" of Eliezer|strong="H0461" were, Rehabiah|strong="H7345" the chief|strong="H7218". And Eliezer|strong="H0461" had none other|strong="H0312" sons|strong="H1121"; but the sons|strong="H1121" of Rehabiah|strong="H7345" were very|strong="H4605" many|strong="H7235".
17 O filho de Eliézer foi Reabias, o chefe; e ele não teve outros filhos; mas os filhos de Reabias se multiplicaram grandemente.
18 Of the sons|strong="H1121" of Izhar|strong="H3324"; Shelomith|strong="H8019" the chief|strong="H7218".
18 Os filhos de Isar foram: Selomite, o chefe.
19 Of the sons|strong="H1121" of Hebron|strong="H2275"; Jeriah|strong="H3404" the first|strong="H7218", Amariah|strong="H0568" the second|strong="H8145", Jahaziel|strong="H3166" the third|strong="H7992", and Jekameam|strong="H3360" the fourth|strong="H7243".
19 Os filhos de Hebrom foram: Jerias, o chefe, Amarias, o segundo, Jaaziel, o terceiro, e Jecameão, o quarto.
20 Of the sons|strong="H1121" of Uzziel|strong="H5816"; Michah|strong="H4318" the first|strong="H7218", and Jesiah|strong="H3449" the second|strong="H8145".
20 Os filhos de Uziel foram: Mica, o chefe, e Issias, o segundo.
21 The sons|strong="H1121" of Merari|strong="H4847"; Mahli|strong="H4249", and Mushi|strong="H4187". The sons|strong="H1121" of Mahli|strong="H4249"; Eleazar|strong="H0499", and Kish|strong="H7027".
21 Os filhos de Merari foram: Mali e Musi. Os filhos de Mali foram: Eleazar e Quis.
22 And Eleazar|strong="H0499" died|strong="H4191", and had no sons|strong="H1121", but daughters|strong="H1323": and their brethren|strong="H0251" the sons|strong="H1121" of Kish|strong="H7027" took|strong="H5375" them.
22 Eleazar morreu e não teve filhos, porém filhas; e os filhos de Quis, seus parentes, casaram com elas.
23 The sons|strong="H1121" of Mushi|strong="H4187"; Mahli|strong="H4249", and Eder|strong="H5740", and Jeremoth|strong="H3406", three|strong="H7969".
23 Os filhos de Musi foram: Mali, Éder e Jerimote, três ao todo.
24 These were the sons|strong="H1121" of Levi|strong="H3878" after the house|strong="H1004" of their fathers|strong="H0001"; even the chief|strong="H7218" of the fathers|strong="H0001", as they were counted|strong="H6485" by number|strong="H4557" of names|strong="H8034" by their polls|strong="H1538", that did|strong="H6213" the work|strong="H4399" for the service|strong="H5656" of the house|strong="H1004" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, from the age|strong="H1121" of twenty|strong="H6242" years|strong="H8141" and upward|strong="H4605".
24 Estes foram os filhos de Levi, segundo as suas famílias e chefes delas, segundo foram contados nominalmente, um por um, de vinte anos para cima, encarregados do ministério da Casa do Senhor .
25 For David|strong="H1732" said|strong="H0559", The \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* God|strong="H0430" of Israel|strong="H3478" hath given rest|strong="H5117" unto his people|strong="H5971", that they may dwell|strong="H7931" in Jerusalem|strong="H3389" for ever|strong="H5769":
25 Porque Davi disse: — O
26 And also unto the Levites|strong="H3881"; they shall no more carry|strong="H5375" the tabernacle|strong="H4908", nor any vessels|strong="H3627" of it for the service|strong="H5656" thereof.
26 Assim, os levitas já não precisarão levar o tabernáculo e nenhum dos utensílios para o seu ministério.
27 For by the last|strong="H0314" words|strong="H1697" of David|strong="H1732" the Levites|strong="H3881" were numbered|strong="H4557" from twenty|strong="H6242" years|strong="H8141" old|strong="H1121" and above|strong="H4605":
27 Porque, segundo as últimas palavras de Davi, foram contados os filhos de Levi de vinte anos para cima.
28 Because their office|strong="H4612" was to wait|strong="H3027" on the sons|strong="H1121" of Aaron|strong="H0175" for the service|strong="H5656" of the house|strong="H1004" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, in the courts|strong="H2691", and in the chambers|strong="H3957", and in the purifying|strong="H2893" of all holy things|strong="H6944", and the work|strong="H4639" of the service|strong="H5656" of the house|strong="H1004" of God|strong="H0430";
28 O serviço deles era ajudar os filhos de Arão no ministério da Casa do Senhor , nos átrios e nas câmaras, na purificação de todas as coisas sagradas e na obra do ministério da Casa de Deus,
29 Both for the shewbread|strong="H3899", and for the fine flour|strong="H5560" for meat offering|strong="H4503", and for the unleavened|strong="H4682" cakes|strong="H7550", and for that which is baked in the pan|strong="H4227", and for that which is fried|strong="H7246", and for all manner of measure|strong="H4884" and size|strong="H4060";
29 a saber, cuidar dos pães da proposição, da melhor farinha para a oferta de cereais, dos bolos sem fermento, das ofertas assadas e das misturadas com azeite, bem como dos pesos e das medidas.
30 And to stand|strong="H5975" every morning|strong="H1242" to thank|strong="H3034" and praise|strong="H1984" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*, and likewise at even|strong="H6153";
30 Deviam estar presentes todas as manhãs e todas as tardes para darem graças ao Senhor e o louvarem,
31 And to offer|strong="H5927" all burnt sacrifices|strong="H5930" unto the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w* in the sabbaths|strong="H7676", in the new moons|strong="H2320", and on the set feasts|strong="H4150", by number|strong="H4557", according to the order|strong="H4941" commanded unto them, continually|strong="H8548" before|strong="H6440" the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*:
31 e sempre que fossem oferecidos os holocaustos do Senhor , nos sábados, nas Festas da Lua Nova e nas festas fixas, diante do Senhor , segundo o número determinado.
32 And that they should keep|strong="H8104" the charge|strong="H4931" of the tabernacle|strong="H0168" of the congregation|strong="H4150", and the charge|strong="H4931" of the holy|strong="H6944" place, and the charge|strong="H4931" of the sons|strong="H1121" of Aaron|strong="H0175" their brethren|strong="H0251", in the service|strong="H5656" of the house|strong="H1004" of the \+w LORD|strong="H3068"\+w*.
32 Os filhos de Levi deviam cuidar da tenda do encontro e do santuário e deviam ajudar os filhos de Arão, seus irmãos, no ministério da Casa do Senhor .
