1 Let|strong="G3049" a man|strong="G0444" so|strong="G3779" account|strong="G3049" of us|strong="G2248", as|strong="G5613" of the ministers|strong="G5257" of Christ|strong="G5547", and|strong="G2532" stewards|strong="G3623" of the mysteries|strong="G3466" of God|strong="G2316".
2 Moreover|strong="G3063" it is required|strong="G2212" in|strong="G1722" stewards|strong="G3623", that|strong="G2443" a man|strong="G5100" be found|strong="G2147" faithful|strong="G4103".
3 But|strong="G1161" with me|strong="G1698" it|strong="G1519" is|strong="G2076" a very small thing|strong="G1646" that|strong="G2443" I should be judged|strong="G0350" of|strong="G5259" you|strong="G5216", or|strong="G2228" of|strong="G5259" man’s|strong="G0442" judgment|strong="G2250": yea|strong="G0235", I judge|strong="G0350" not|strong="G3761" mine own self|strong="G1683".
4 For|strong="G1063" I know|strong="G4894" nothing|strong="G3762" by myself|strong="G1683"; yet|strong="G0235" am I|strong="G1344" not|strong="G3756" hereby|strong="G5129" justified|strong="G1344": but|strong="G1161" he|strong="G3588" that judgeth|strong="G0350" me|strong="G3165" is|strong="G2076" the Lord|strong="G2962".
5 Therefore|strong="G5620" judge|strong="G2919" nothing|strong="G3361" before|strong="G4253" the time|strong="G2540", until|strong="G2193" the Lord|strong="G2962" come|strong="G2064", who|strong="G3739" both|strong="G2532" will bring to light|strong="G5461" the hidden things|strong="G2927" of darkness|strong="G4655", and|strong="G2532" will make manifest|strong="G5319" the counsels|strong="G1012" of the hearts|strong="G2588": and|strong="G2532" then|strong="G5119" shall|strong="G1096" every man|strong="G1538" have|strong="G1096" praise|strong="G1868" of|strong="G0575" God|strong="G2316".
6 And|strong="G1161" these things|strong="G5023", brethren|strong="G0080", I have in a figure transferred|strong="G3345" to|strong="G1519" myself|strong="G1683" and|strong="G2532" to Apollos|strong="G0625" for|strong="G1223" your sakes|strong="G5209"; that|strong="G2443" ye might learn|strong="G3129" in|strong="G1722" us|strong="G2254" not|strong="G3361" to think|strong="G5426" of men above|strong="G5228" that which|strong="G3739" is written|strong="G1125", that|strong="G2443" no|strong="G3361" one|strong="G1520" of you be puffed up|strong="G5448" for|strong="G5228" one|strong="G1520" against|strong="G2596" another|strong="G2087".
7 For|strong="G1063" who|strong="G5101" maketh|strong="G1252" thee|strong="G4571" to differ|strong="G1252" from another? and|strong="G1161" what|strong="G5101" hast thou|strong="G2192" that|strong="G3739" thou didst|strong="G2983" not|strong="G3756" receive|strong="G2983"? now|strong="G1161" if|strong="G1487" thou didst receive|strong="G2983" it, why|strong="G5101" dost thou glory|strong="G2744", as if|strong="G5613" thou hadst|strong="G2983" not|strong="G3361" received|strong="G2983" it?
8 Now|strong="G2235" ye are|strong="G2075" full|strong="G2880", now|strong="G2235" ye are rich|strong="G4147", ye have reigned as kings|strong="G0936" without|strong="G5565" us|strong="G2257": and|strong="G2532" I would to God|strong="G3785" ye did reign|strong="G0936", that|strong="G2443" we|strong="G2249" also|strong="G2532" might reign|strong="G4821" with you|strong="G5213".
9 For|strong="G1063" I think|strong="G1380" that|strong="G3754" God|strong="G2316" hath set forth|strong="G0584" us|strong="G2248" the apostles|strong="G0652" last|strong="G2078", as it were|strong="G5613" appointed to death|strong="G1935": for|strong="G3754" we are made|strong="G1096" a spectacle|strong="G2302" unto the world|strong="G2889", and|strong="G2532" to angels|strong="G0032", and|strong="G2532" to men|strong="G0444".
10 We|strong="G2249" are fools|strong="G3474" for|strong="G1223" Christ’s sake|strong="G5547", but|strong="G1161" ye|strong="G5210" are wise|strong="G5429" in|strong="G1722" Christ|strong="G5547"; we|strong="G2249" are weak|strong="G0772", but|strong="G1161" ye|strong="G5210" are strong|strong="G2478"; ye|strong="G5210" are honourable|strong="G1741", but|strong="G1161" we|strong="G2249" are despised|strong="G0820".
11 Even unto|strong="G0891" this present|strong="G0737" hour|strong="G5610" we|strong="G3983" both|strong="G2532" hunger|strong="G3983", and|strong="G2532" thirst|strong="G1372", and|strong="G2532" are naked|strong="G1130", and|strong="G2532" are buffeted|strong="G2852", and|strong="G2532" have no certain dwellingplace|strong="G0790";
12 And|strong="G2532" labour|strong="G2872", working|strong="G2038" with our own|strong="G2398" hands|strong="G5495": being reviled|strong="G3058", we bless|strong="G2127"; being persecuted|strong="G1377", we suffer it|strong="G0430":
13 Being defamed|strong="G0987", we intreat|strong="G3870": we are made|strong="G1096" as|strong="G5613" the filth|strong="G4027" of the world|strong="G2889", and are the offscouring|strong="G4067" of all things|strong="G3956" unto|strong="G2193" this day|strong="G0737".
14 I write|strong="G1125" not|strong="G3756" these things|strong="G5023" to shame|strong="G1788" you|strong="G5209", but|strong="G0235" as|strong="G5613" my|strong="G3450" beloved|strong="G0027" sons|strong="G5043" I warn|strong="G3560" you.
15 For|strong="G1063" though|strong="G1437" ye have|strong="G2192" ten thousand|strong="G3463" instructers|strong="G3807" in|strong="G1722" Christ|strong="G5547", yet|strong="G0235" have ye not|strong="G3756" many|strong="G4183" fathers|strong="G3962": for|strong="G1063" in|strong="G1722" Christ|strong="G5547" Jesus|strong="G2424" I|strong="G1473" have begotten|strong="G1080" you|strong="G5209" through|strong="G1223" the gospel|strong="G2098".
16 Wherefore|strong="G3767" I beseech|strong="G3870" you|strong="G5209", be ye|strong="G1096" followers|strong="G3402" of me|strong="G3450".
17 For|strong="G1223" this cause|strong="G5124" have I sent|strong="G3992" unto you|strong="G5213" Timotheus|strong="G5095", who|strong="G3739" is|strong="G2076" my|strong="G3450" beloved|strong="G0027" son|strong="G5043", and|strong="G2532" faithful|strong="G4103" in|strong="G1722" the Lord|strong="G2962", who|strong="G3739" shall bring|strong="G0363" you|strong="G5209" into remembrance|strong="G0363" of my|strong="G3450" ways|strong="G3598" which be|strong="G3588" in|strong="G1722" Christ|strong="G5547", as|strong="G2531" I teach|strong="G1321" every where|strong="G3837" in|strong="G1722" every|strong="G3956" church|strong="G1577".
18 Now|strong="G1161" some|strong="G5100" are puffed up|strong="G5448", as though|strong="G5613" I|strong="G3450" would|strong="G2064" not|strong="G3361" come|strong="G2064" to|strong="G4314" you|strong="G5209".
19 But|strong="G1161" I will come|strong="G2064" to|strong="G4314" you|strong="G5209" shortly|strong="G5030", if|strong="G1437" the Lord|strong="G2962" will|strong="G2309", and|strong="G2532" will know|strong="G1097", not|strong="G3756" the speech|strong="G3056" of them which|strong="G3588" are puffed up|strong="G5448", but|strong="G0235" the power|strong="G1411".
20 For|strong="G1063" the kingdom|strong="G0932" of God|strong="G2316" is not|strong="G3756" in|strong="G1722" word|strong="G3056", but|strong="G0235" in|strong="G1722" power|strong="G1411".
21 What|strong="G5101" will ye|strong="G2309"? shall I come|strong="G2064" unto|strong="G4314" you|strong="G5209" with|strong="G1722" a rod|strong="G4464", or|strong="G2228" in|strong="G1722" love|strong="G0026", and|strong="G5037" in the spirit|strong="G4151" of meekness|strong="G4236"?
