1 It is reported|strong="G0191" commonly|strong="G3654" that there is fornication|strong="G4202" among|strong="G1722" you|strong="G5213", and|strong="G2532" such|strong="G5108" fornication|strong="G4202" as is|strong="G3748" not so much as|strong="G3761" named|strong="G3687" among|strong="G1722" the Gentiles|strong="G1484", that|strong="G5620" one|strong="G5100" should have|strong="G2192" his|strong="G3588" father’s|strong="G3962" wife|strong="G1135".
2 And|strong="G2532" ye|strong="G5210" are|strong="G2075" puffed up|strong="G5448", and|strong="G2532" have|strong="G3996" not|strong="G3780" rather|strong="G3123" mourned|strong="G3996", that|strong="G2443" he that hath done|strong="G4160" this|strong="G5124" deed|strong="G2041" might be taken away|strong="G1808" from|strong="G1537" among|strong="G3319" you|strong="G5216".
3 For|strong="G1063" I|strong="G1473" verily|strong="G3303", as|strong="G5613" absent|strong="G0548" in body|strong="G4983", but|strong="G1161" present|strong="G3918" in spirit|strong="G4151", have judged|strong="G2919" already|strong="G2235", as though|strong="G5613" I were present|strong="G3918", concerning him that|strong="G3588" hath so|strong="G3779" done|strong="G2716" this|strong="G5124" deed|strong="G2716",
4 In|strong="G1722" the name|strong="G3686" of our|strong="G2257" Lord|strong="G2962" Jesus|strong="G2424" Christ|strong="G5547", when|strong="G4863" ye|strong="G5216" are gathered together|strong="G4863", and|strong="G2532" my|strong="G1700" spirit|strong="G4151", with|strong="G4862" the power|strong="G1411" of our|strong="G2257" Lord|strong="G2962" Jesus|strong="G2424" Christ|strong="G5547",
5 To deliver|strong="G3860" such an one|strong="G5108" unto Satan|strong="G4567" for|strong="G1519" the destruction|strong="G3639" of the flesh|strong="G4561", that|strong="G2443" the spirit|strong="G4151" may be saved|strong="G4982" in|strong="G1722" the day|strong="G2250" of the Lord|strong="G2962" Jesus|strong="G2424".
6 Your|strong="G5216" glorying|strong="G2745" is not|strong="G3756" good|strong="G2570". Know ye|strong="G1492" not|strong="G3756" that|strong="G3754" a little|strong="G3398" leaven|strong="G2219" leaveneth|strong="G2220" the whole|strong="G3650" lump|strong="G5445"?
7 Purge out|strong="G1571" therefore|strong="G3767" the old|strong="G3820" leaven|strong="G2219", that|strong="G2443" ye may be|strong="G5600" a new|strong="G3501" lump|strong="G5445", as|strong="G2531" ye are|strong="G2075" unleavened|strong="G0106". For|strong="G1063" even|strong="G2532" Christ|strong="G5547" our|strong="G2257" passover|strong="G3957" is sacrificed|strong="G2380" for|strong="G5228" us|strong="G2257":
8 Therefore|strong="G5620" let us keep the feast|strong="G1858", not|strong="G3361" with|strong="G1722" old|strong="G3820" leaven|strong="G2219", neither|strong="G3366" with|strong="G1722" the leaven|strong="G2219" of malice|strong="G2549" and|strong="G2532" wickedness|strong="G4189"; but|strong="G0235" with|strong="G1722" the unleavened|strong="G0106" bread of sincerity|strong="G1505" and|strong="G2532" truth|strong="G0225".
9 I wrote|strong="G1125" unto you|strong="G5213" in|strong="G1722" an epistle|strong="G1992" not|strong="G3361" to company|strong="G4874" with fornicators|strong="G4205":
10 Yet|strong="G2532" not|strong="G3756" altogether|strong="G3843" with the fornicators|strong="G4205" of this|strong="G5127" world|strong="G2889", or|strong="G2228" with the covetous|strong="G4123", or|strong="G2228" extortioners|strong="G0727", or|strong="G2228" with idolaters|strong="G1496"; for|strong="G1893" then|strong="G0686" must ye needs|strong="G3784" go out|strong="G1831" of|strong="G1537" the world|strong="G2889".
11 But|strong="G1161" now|strong="G3570" I have written|strong="G1125" unto you|strong="G5213" not|strong="G3361" to keep company|strong="G4874", if|strong="G1437" any man|strong="G5100" that is called|strong="G3687" a brother|strong="G0080" be|strong="G1510" a fornicator|strong="G4205", or|strong="G2228" covetous|strong="G4123", or|strong="G2228" an idolater|strong="G1496", or|strong="G2228" a railer|strong="G3060", or|strong="G2228" a drunkard|strong="G3183", or|strong="G2228" an extortioner|strong="G0727"; with such an one|strong="G5108" no not|strong="G3366" to eat|strong="G4906".
12 For|strong="G1063" what|strong="G5101" have I|strong="G3427" to do to judge|strong="G2919" them|strong="G3588" also|strong="G2532" that are|strong="G2532" without|strong="G1854"? do|strong="G2919" not|strong="G3780" ye|strong="G5210" judge|strong="G2919" them that are|strong="G3588" within|strong="G2080"?
13 But|strong="G1161" them that are|strong="G3588" without|strong="G1854" God|strong="G2316" judgeth|strong="G2919". Therefore|strong="G2532" put away|strong="G1808" from|strong="G1537" among yourselves|strong="G5216" that|strong="G0846" wicked person|strong="G4190".
