2 Ye know|strong="G1492" that|strong="G3754" ye were|strong="G2258" Gentiles|strong="G1484", carried away|strong="G0071" unto|strong="G4314" these|strong="G3588" dumb|strong="G0880" idols|strong="G1497", even as|strong="G5613" ye were led|strong="G0520".
3 Wherefore|strong="G1352" I give|strong="G1107" you|strong="G5213" to understand|strong="G1107", that|strong="G3754" no man|strong="G3762" speaking|strong="G2980" by|strong="G1722" the Spirit|strong="G4151" of God|strong="G2316" calleth|strong="G3004" Jesus|strong="G2424" accursed|strong="G0331": and|strong="G2532" that no man|strong="G3762" can|strong="G1410" say|strong="G2036" that Jesus|strong="G2424" is the Lord|strong="G2962", but|strong="G1487" by|strong="G1722" the Holy|strong="G0040" Ghost|strong="G4151".
4 Now|strong="G1161" there are|strong="G1526" diversities|strong="G1243" of gifts|strong="G5486", but|strong="G1161" the same|strong="G0846" Spirit|strong="G4151".
5 And|strong="G2532" there are|strong="G1526" differences|strong="G1243" of administrations|strong="G1248", but|strong="G2532" the same|strong="G0846" Lord|strong="G2962".
6 And|strong="G2532" there are|strong="G1526" diversities|strong="G1243" of operations|strong="G1755", but|strong="G1161" it is|strong="G2076" the same|strong="G0846" God|strong="G2316" which|strong="G3588" worketh|strong="G1754" all|strong="G3956" in|strong="G1722" all|strong="G3956".
7 But|strong="G1161" the manifestation|strong="G5321" of the Spirit|strong="G4151" is given|strong="G1325" to|strong="G4314" every man|strong="G1538" to profit withal|strong="G4851".
8 For|strong="G1063" to one|strong="G3739" is given|strong="G1325" by|strong="G1223" the Spirit|strong="G4151" the word|strong="G3056" of wisdom|strong="G4678"; to another|strong="G0243" the word|strong="G3056" of knowledge|strong="G1108" by|strong="G2596" the same|strong="G0846" Spirit|strong="G4151";
9 To|strong="G1161" another|strong="G2087" faith|strong="G4102" by|strong="G1722" the same|strong="G0846" Spirit|strong="G4151"; to|strong="G1161" another|strong="G0243" the gifts|strong="G5486" of healing|strong="G2386" by|strong="G1722" the same|strong="G0846" Spirit|strong="G4151";
10 To|strong="G1161" another|strong="G0243" the working|strong="G1755" of miracles|strong="G1411"; to|strong="G1161" another|strong="G0243" prophecy|strong="G4394"; to|strong="G1161" another|strong="G0243" discerning|strong="G1253" of spirits|strong="G4151"; to|strong="G1161" another|strong="G2087" divers kinds|strong="G1085" of tongues|strong="G1100"; to|strong="G1161" another|strong="G0243" the interpretation|strong="G2058" of tongues|strong="G1100":
11 But|strong="G1161" all|strong="G3956" these|strong="G5023" worketh|strong="G1754" that one|strong="G1520" and|strong="G2532" the selfsame|strong="G0846" Spirit|strong="G4151", dividing|strong="G1244" to every man|strong="G1538" severally|strong="G2398" as|strong="G2531" he will|strong="G1014".
12 For|strong="G1063" as|strong="G2509" the body|strong="G4983" is|strong="G2076" one|strong="G1520", and|strong="G2532" hath|strong="G2192" many|strong="G4183" members|strong="G3196", and|strong="G1161" all|strong="G3956" the members|strong="G3196" of that one|strong="G1520" body|strong="G4983", being|strong="G5607" many|strong="G4183", are|strong="G2076" one|strong="G1520" body|strong="G4983": so|strong="G3779" also|strong="G2532" is Christ|strong="G5547".
13 For|strong="G1063" by|strong="G1722" one|strong="G1520" Spirit|strong="G4151" are|strong="G0907" we|strong="G2249" all|strong="G3956" baptized|strong="G0907" into|strong="G1519" one|strong="G1520" body|strong="G4983", whether|strong="G1535" we be Jews|strong="G2453" or|strong="G1535" Gentiles|strong="G1672", whether|strong="G1535" we be bond|strong="G1401" or|strong="G1535" free|strong="G1658"; and|strong="G2532" have been|strong="G4222" all|strong="G3956" made to drink|strong="G4222" into|strong="G1519" one|strong="G1520" Spirit|strong="G4151".
14 For|strong="G1063" the body|strong="G4983" is|strong="G2076" not|strong="G3756" one|strong="G1520" member|strong="G3196", but|strong="G0235" many|strong="G4183".
15 If|strong="G1437" the foot|strong="G4228" shall say|strong="G2036", Because|strong="G3754" I am|strong="G1510" not|strong="G3756" the hand|strong="G5495", I am|strong="G1510" not|strong="G3756" of|strong="G1537" the body|strong="G4983"; is|strong="G2076" it|strong="G5124" therefore|strong="G3844" not|strong="G3756" of|strong="G1537" the body|strong="G4983"?
16 And|strong="G2532" if|strong="G1437" the ear|strong="G3775" shall say|strong="G2036", Because|strong="G3754" I am|strong="G1510" not|strong="G3756" the eye|strong="G3788", I am|strong="G1510" not|strong="G3756" of|strong="G1537" the body|strong="G4983"; is|strong="G2076" it|strong="G5124" therefore|strong="G3844" not|strong="G3756" of|strong="G1537" the body|strong="G4983"?
17 If|strong="G1487" the whole|strong="G3650" body|strong="G4983" were an eye|strong="G3788", where|strong="G4226" were the hearing|strong="G0189"? If|strong="G1487" the whole|strong="G3650" were hearing|strong="G0189", where|strong="G4226" were the smelling|strong="G3750"?
18 But|strong="G1161" now|strong="G3570" hath|strong="G5087" God|strong="G2316" set|strong="G5087" the members|strong="G3196" every|strong="G1538" one|strong="G1520" of them|strong="G0846" in|strong="G1722" the body|strong="G4983", as|strong="G2531" it hath pleased him|strong="G2309".
19 And|strong="G1161" if|strong="G1487" they were|strong="G2258" all|strong="G3956" one|strong="G1520" member|strong="G3196", where|strong="G4226" were the body|strong="G4983"?
20 But|strong="G1161" now|strong="G3568" are they many|strong="G4183" members|strong="G3196", yet|strong="G3303" but|strong="G1161" one|strong="G1520" body|strong="G4983".
21 And|strong="G1161" the eye|strong="G3788" cannot|strong="G1410" say|strong="G2036" unto the hand|strong="G5495", I have|strong="G2192" no|strong="G3756" need|strong="G5532" of thee|strong="G4675": nor|strong="G2228" again|strong="G3825" the head|strong="G2776" to the feet|strong="G4228", I have|strong="G2192" no|strong="G3756" need|strong="G5532" of you|strong="G5216".
22 Nay|strong="G0235", much|strong="G4183" more|strong="G3123" those members|strong="G3196" of the body|strong="G4983", which|strong="G3588" seem|strong="G1380" to be|strong="G5225" more feeble|strong="G0772", are|strong="G2076" necessary|strong="G0316":
23 And|strong="G2532" those|strong="G3588" members of the body|strong="G4983", which|strong="G3739" we think|strong="G1380" to be|strong="G1511" less honourable|strong="G0820", upon these|strong="G5125" we bestow|strong="G4060" more abundant|strong="G4053" honour|strong="G5092"; and|strong="G2532" our|strong="G2257" uncomely|strong="G0809" parts have|strong="G2192" more abundant|strong="G4053" comeliness|strong="G2157".
24 For|strong="G1161" our|strong="G2257" comely|strong="G2158" parts have|strong="G2192" no|strong="G3756" need|strong="G5532": but|strong="G0235" God|strong="G2316" hath tempered|strong="G4786" the body|strong="G4983" together|strong="G4786", having given|strong="G1325" more abundant|strong="G4053" honour|strong="G5092" to that|strong="G3588" part which lacked|strong="G5302":
25 That|strong="G2443" there should be|strong="G5600" no|strong="G3361" schism|strong="G4978" in|strong="G1722" the body|strong="G4983"; but|strong="G0235" that the members|strong="G3196" should have|strong="G3309" the same|strong="G0846" care|strong="G3309" one|strong="G0240" for|strong="G5228" another|strong="G0240".
26 And|strong="G2532" whether|strong="G1535" one|strong="G1520" member|strong="G3196" suffer|strong="G3958", all|strong="G3956" the members|strong="G3196" suffer with it|strong="G4841"; or|strong="G1535" one|strong="G1520" member|strong="G3196" be honoured|strong="G1392", all|strong="G3956" the members|strong="G3196" rejoice with it|strong="G4796".
27 Now|strong="G1161" ye|strong="G5210" are|strong="G2075" the body|strong="G4983" of Christ|strong="G5547", and|strong="G2532" members|strong="G3196" in|strong="G1537" particular|strong="G3313".
28 And|strong="G2532" God|strong="G2316" hath set|strong="G5087" some|strong="G3739" in|strong="G1722" the church|strong="G1577", first|strong="G4412" apostles|strong="G0652", secondarily|strong="G1208" prophets|strong="G4396", thirdly|strong="G5154" teachers|strong="G1320", after that|strong="G1899" miracles|strong="G1411", then|strong="G1534" gifts|strong="G5486" of healings|strong="G2386", helps|strong="G0484", governments|strong="G2941", diversities|strong="G1085" of tongues|strong="G1100".
29 Are all|strong="G3956" apostles|strong="G0652"? are all|strong="G3956" prophets|strong="G4396"? are all|strong="G3956" teachers|strong="G1320"? are all|strong="G3956" workers of miracles|strong="G1411"?
30 Have|strong="G2192" all|strong="G3956" the gifts|strong="G5486" of healing|strong="G2386"? do|strong="G3361" all|strong="G3956" speak|strong="G2980" with tongues|strong="G1100"? do|strong="G3361" all|strong="G3956" interpret|strong="G1329"?
31 But|strong="G1161" covet earnestly|strong="G2206" the best|strong="G2909" gifts|strong="G5486": and|strong="G2532" yet|strong="G2089" shew I|strong="G1166" unto you|strong="G5213" a more excellent|strong="G5236" way|strong="G3598".
