7 So that|strong="G5620" ye|strong="G5209" come behind|strong="G5302" in|strong="G1722" no|strong="G3367" gift|strong="G5486"; waiting for|strong="G0553" the coming|strong="G0602" of our|strong="G2257" Lord|strong="G2962" Jesus|strong="G2424" Christ|strong="G5547":

13 Is|strong="G3307" Christ|strong="G5547" divided|strong="G3307"? was|strong="G4717" Paul|strong="G3972" crucified|strong="G4717" for|strong="G5228" you|strong="G5216"? or|strong="G2228" were ye baptized|strong="G0907" in|strong="G1519" the name|strong="G3686" of Paul|strong="G3972"?
14 I thank|strong="G2168" God|strong="G2316" that|strong="G3754" I baptized|strong="G0907" none|strong="G3762" of you|strong="G5216", but|strong="G1487" Crispus|strong="G2921" and|strong="G2532" Gaius|strong="G1050";
15 Lest|strong="G2443" any|strong="G5100" should say|strong="G2036" that|strong="G3754" I had baptized|strong="G0907" in|strong="G1519" mine own|strong="G1699" name|strong="G3686".
16 And|strong="G1161" I baptized|strong="G0907" also|strong="G2532" the household|strong="G3624" of Stephanas|strong="G4734": besides|strong="G3063", I know|strong="G1492" not|strong="G3756" whether|strong="G1487" I baptized|strong="G0907" any|strong="G5100" other|strong="G0243".
17 For|strong="G1063" Christ|strong="G5547" sent|strong="G0649" me|strong="G3165" not|strong="G3756" to baptize|strong="G0907", but|strong="G0235" to preach the gospel|strong="G2097": not|strong="G3756" with|strong="G1722" wisdom|strong="G4678" of words|strong="G3056", lest|strong="G2443" the cross|strong="G4716" of Christ|strong="G5547" should be made of none effect|strong="G2758".
18 For|strong="G1063" the preaching|strong="G3056" of the cross|strong="G4716" is|strong="G2076" to them|strong="G3588" that perish|strong="G0622" foolishness|strong="G3472"; but|strong="G1161" unto us|strong="G2254" which are saved|strong="G4982" it is|strong="G2076" the power|strong="G1411" of God|strong="G2316".
19 For|strong="G1063" it is written|strong="G1125", I will destroy|strong="G0622" the wisdom|strong="G4678" of the wise|strong="G4680", and|strong="G2532" will bring to nothing|strong="G0114" the understanding|strong="G4907" of the prudent|strong="G4908".
20 Where|strong="G4226" is the wise|strong="G4680"? where|strong="G4226" is the scribe|strong="G1122"? where|strong="G4226" is the disputer|strong="G4804" of this|strong="G5127" world|strong="G0165"? hath not|strong="G3780" God|strong="G2316" made foolish|strong="G3471" the wisdom|strong="G4678" of this|strong="G5127" world|strong="G2889"?
21 For|strong="G1063" after that|strong="G1894" in|strong="G1722" the wisdom|strong="G4678" of God|strong="G2316" the world|strong="G2889" by|strong="G1223" wisdom|strong="G4678" knew|strong="G1097" not|strong="G3756" God|strong="G2316", it pleased|strong="G2106" God|strong="G2316" by|strong="G1223" the foolishness|strong="G3472" of preaching|strong="G2782" to save|strong="G4982" them|strong="G3588" that believe|strong="G4100".
22 For|strong="G1894" the Jews|strong="G2453" require|strong="G0154" a sign|strong="G4592", and|strong="G2532" the Greeks|strong="G1672" seek|strong="G2212" after wisdom|strong="G4678":
23 But|strong="G1161" we|strong="G2249" preach|strong="G2784" Christ|strong="G5547" crucified|strong="G4717", unto the Jews|strong="G2453" a stumblingblock|strong="G4625", and|strong="G1161" unto the Greeks|strong="G1672" foolishness|strong="G3472";
24 But|strong="G1161" unto them|strong="G0846" which|strong="G3588" are called|strong="G2822", both|strong="G5037" Jews|strong="G2453" and|strong="G2532" Greeks|strong="G1672", Christ|strong="G5547" the power|strong="G1411" of God|strong="G2316", and|strong="G2532" the wisdom|strong="G4678" of God|strong="G2316".
25 Because|strong="G3754" the foolishness|strong="G3474" of God|strong="G2316" is|strong="G2076" wiser|strong="G4680" than men|strong="G0444"; and|strong="G2532" the weakness|strong="G0772" of God|strong="G2316" is|strong="G2076" stronger|strong="G2478" than men|strong="G0444".
26 For|strong="G1063" ye see|strong="G0991" your|strong="G5216" calling|strong="G2821", brethren|strong="G0080", how that|strong="G3754" not|strong="G3756" many|strong="G4183" wise men|strong="G4680" after|strong="G2596" the flesh|strong="G4561", not|strong="G3756" many|strong="G4183" mighty|strong="G1415", not|strong="G3756" many|strong="G4183" noble|strong="G2104", are called:
27 But|strong="G0235" God|strong="G2316" hath chosen|strong="G1586" the foolish things|strong="G3474" of the world|strong="G2889" to|strong="G2443" confound|strong="G2617" the wise|strong="G4680"; and|strong="G2532" God|strong="G2316" hath chosen|strong="G1586" the weak things|strong="G0772" of the world|strong="G2889" to|strong="G2443" confound|strong="G2617" the things|strong="G3588" which are mighty|strong="G2478";
28 And|strong="G2532" base things|strong="G0036" of the world|strong="G2889", and|strong="G2532" things|strong="G3588" which are despised|strong="G1848", hath|strong="G1586" God|strong="G2316" chosen|strong="G1586", yea, and|strong="G2532" things|strong="G3588" which are|strong="G5607" not|strong="G3361", to|strong="G2443" bring to nought|strong="G2673" things|strong="G3588" that are|strong="G5607":
29 That|strong="G3704" no|strong="G3956" flesh|strong="G4561" should glory|strong="G2744" in|strong="G1799" his|strong="G0846" presence|strong="G1799".
30 But|strong="G1161" of|strong="G1537" him|strong="G0846" are|strong="G2075" ye|strong="G5210" in|strong="G1722" Christ|strong="G5547" Jesus|strong="G2424", who|strong="G3739" of|strong="G0575" God|strong="G2316" is made|strong="G1096" unto us|strong="G2254" wisdom|strong="G4678", and|strong="G5037" righteousness|strong="G1343", and|strong="G2532" sanctification|strong="G0038", and|strong="G2532" redemption|strong="G0629":
31 That|strong="G2443", according as|strong="G2531" it is written|strong="G1125", He|strong="G3588" that glorieth|strong="G2744", let him glory|strong="G2744" in|strong="G1722" the Lord|strong="G2962".
