1 And I|strong="G2504", brethren|strong="G0080", when I came|strong="G2064" to|strong="G4314" you|strong="G5209", came|strong="G2064" not|strong="G3756" with|strong="G2596" excellency|strong="G5247" of speech|strong="G3056" or|strong="G2228" of wisdom|strong="G4678", declaring|strong="G2605" unto you|strong="G5213" the testimony|strong="G3142" of God|strong="G2316".
2 For|strong="G1063" I determined|strong="G2919" not|strong="G3756" to know|strong="G1492" any thing|strong="G5100" among|strong="G1722" you|strong="G5213", save|strong="G1487" Jesus|strong="G2424" Christ|strong="G5547", and|strong="G2532" him|strong="G5126" crucified|strong="G4717".
3 And|strong="G2532" I|strong="G1473" was|strong="G1096" with|strong="G4314" you|strong="G5209" in|strong="G1722" weakness|strong="G0769", and|strong="G2532" in|strong="G1722" fear|strong="G5401", and|strong="G2532" in|strong="G1722" much|strong="G4183" trembling|strong="G5156".
4 And|strong="G2532" my|strong="G3450" speech|strong="G3056" and|strong="G2532" my|strong="G3450" preaching|strong="G2782" was not|strong="G3756" with|strong="G1722" enticing|strong="G3981" words|strong="G3056" of man’s|strong="G0442" wisdom|strong="G4678", but|strong="G0235" in|strong="G1722" demonstration|strong="G0585" of the Spirit|strong="G4151" and|strong="G2532" of power|strong="G1411":
5 That|strong="G2443" your|strong="G5216" faith|strong="G4102" should not|strong="G3361" stand|strong="G5600" in|strong="G1722" the wisdom|strong="G4678" of men|strong="G0444", but|strong="G0235" in|strong="G1722" the power|strong="G1411" of God|strong="G2316".
6 Howbeit|strong="G1161" we speak|strong="G2980" wisdom|strong="G4678" among|strong="G1722" them|strong="G3588" that are perfect|strong="G5046": yet|strong="G1161" not|strong="G3756" the wisdom|strong="G4678" of this|strong="G5127" world|strong="G0165", nor|strong="G3761" of the princes|strong="G0758" of this|strong="G5127" world|strong="G0165", that|strong="G3588" come to nought|strong="G2673":
7 But|strong="G0235" we speak|strong="G2980" the wisdom|strong="G4678" of God|strong="G2316" in|strong="G1722" a mystery|strong="G3466", even the hidden|strong="G0613" wisdom, which|strong="G3739" God|strong="G2316" ordained|strong="G4309" before|strong="G4253" the world|strong="G0165" unto|strong="G1519" our|strong="G2257" glory|strong="G1391":
8 Which|strong="G3739" none|strong="G3762" of the princes|strong="G0758" of this|strong="G5127" world|strong="G0165" knew|strong="G1097": for|strong="G1063" had|strong="G1487" they known|strong="G1097" it, they would|strong="G4717" not|strong="G3756" have|strong="G0302" crucified|strong="G4717" the Lord|strong="G2962" of glory|strong="G1391".
9 But|strong="G0235" as|strong="G2531" it is written|strong="G1125", Eye|strong="G3788" hath|strong="G1492" not|strong="G3756" seen|strong="G1492", nor|strong="G2532" ear|strong="G3775" heard|strong="G0191", neither|strong="G2532" have entered|strong="G0305" into|strong="G1909" the heart|strong="G2588" of man|strong="G0444", the things which|strong="G3739" God|strong="G2316" hath prepared|strong="G2090" for them|strong="G3588" that love|strong="G0025" him|strong="G0846".
10 But|strong="G1161" God|strong="G2316" hath revealed|strong="G0601" them unto us|strong="G2254" by|strong="G1223" his|strong="G0846" Spirit|strong="G4151": for|strong="G1063" the Spirit|strong="G4151" searcheth|strong="G2045" all things|strong="G3956", yea|strong="G2532", the deep things|strong="G0899" of God|strong="G2316".
11 For|strong="G1063" what|strong="G5101" man|strong="G0444" knoweth|strong="G1492" the things|strong="G3588" of a man|strong="G0444", save|strong="G1487" the spirit|strong="G4151" of man|strong="G0444" which is|strong="G3588" in|strong="G1722" him|strong="G0846"? even|strong="G2532" so|strong="G3779" the things|strong="G3588" of God|strong="G2316" knoweth|strong="G1492" no man|strong="G3762", but|strong="G1487" the Spirit|strong="G4151" of God|strong="G2316".
12 Now|strong="G1161" we|strong="G2249" have received|strong="G2983", not|strong="G3756" the spirit|strong="G4151" of the world|strong="G2889", but|strong="G0235" the spirit|strong="G4151" which is|strong="G3588" of|strong="G1537" God|strong="G2316"; that|strong="G2443" we might know|strong="G1492" the things that|strong="G3588" are freely given|strong="G5483" to us|strong="G2254" of|strong="G5259" God|strong="G2316".
13 Which things|strong="G3739" also|strong="G2532" we speak|strong="G2980", not|strong="G3756" in|strong="G1722" the words|strong="G3056" which man’s|strong="G0442" wisdom|strong="G4678" teacheth|strong="G1318", but|strong="G0235" which|strong="G1722" the Holy|strong="G0040" Ghost|strong="G4151" teacheth|strong="G1318"; comparing|strong="G4793" spiritual things|strong="G4152" with spiritual|strong="G4152".
14 But|strong="G1161" the natural|strong="G5591" man|strong="G0444" receiveth|strong="G1209" not|strong="G3756" the things|strong="G3588" of the Spirit|strong="G4151" of God|strong="G2316": for|strong="G1063" they are|strong="G2076" foolishness|strong="G3472" unto him|strong="G0846": neither|strong="G3756" can|strong="G1410" he know|strong="G1097" them, because|strong="G3754" they are spiritually|strong="G4153" discerned|strong="G0350".
15 But|strong="G1161" he that|strong="G3588" is spiritual|strong="G4152" judgeth|strong="G0350" all things|strong="G3956", yet|strong="G1161" he himself|strong="G0846" is judged|strong="G0350" of|strong="G5259" no man|strong="G3762".
16 For|strong="G1063" who|strong="G5101" hath known|strong="G1097" the mind|strong="G3563" of the Lord|strong="G2962", that|strong="G3739" he may instruct|strong="G4822" him|strong="G0846"? But|strong="G1161" we|strong="G2249" have|strong="G2192" the mind|strong="G3563" of Christ|strong="G5547".
