1 Unto the end, for the winepresses, a psalm for the sons of Core.
1 Quão amáveis são os teus tabernáculos, Senhor dos Exércitos!
2 How lovely are thy tabernacles, O Lord of host!
2 A minha alma está anelante e desfalece pelos átrios do Senhor ; o meu coração e a minha carne clamam pelo Deus vivo.
3 my soul longeth and fainteth for the courts of the Lord. My heart and my flesh have rejoiced in the living God.
3 Até o pardal encontrou casa, e a andorinha, ninho para si e para a sua prole, junto dos teus altares, Senhor dos Exércitos, Rei meu e Deus meu.
4 For the sparrow hath found herself a house, and the turtle a nest for herself where she may lay her young ones: Thy altars, O Lord of hosts, my king and my God.
4 Bem-aventurados os que habitam em tua casa; louvar-te-ão continuamente. (Selá)
5 Blessed are they that dwell in thy house, O Lord: they shall praise thee for ever and ever.
5 Bem-aventurado o homem cuja força está em ti, em cujo coração estão os caminhos aplanados,
6 Blessed is the man whose help is from thee: in his heart he hath disposed to ascend by steps,
6 o qual, passando pelo vale de Baca, faz dele uma fonte; a chuva também enche os tanques.
7 in the vale of tears, in the place which be hath set.
7 Vão indo de força em força; cada um deles em Sião aparece perante Deus.
8 For the lawgiver shall give a blessing, they shall go from virtue to virtue: the God of gods shall be seen in Sion.
8 Senhor , Deus dos Exércitos, escuta a minha oração; inclina os ouvidos, ó Deus de Jacó! (Selá)
9 O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob.
9 Olha, ó Deus, escudo nosso, e contempla o rosto do teu ungido.
10 Behold, O God our protector: and look on the face of thy Christ.
10 Porque vale mais um dia nos teus átrios do que, em outra parte, mil. Preferiria estar à porta da Casa do meu Deus, a habitar nas tendas da impiedade.
11 For better is one day in thy courts above thousands. I have chosen to be an abject in the house of my God, rather than to dwell in the tabernacles of sinners.
11 Porque o Senhor Deus é um sol e escudo; o Senhor dará graça e glória; não negará bem algum aos que andam na retidão.
12 For God loveth mercy and truth: the Lord will give grace and glory.
12 Senhor dos Exércitos, bem-aventurado o homem que em ti põe a sua confiança.
13 He will not deprive of good things them that walk in innocence : O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.
