1 Paul, an apostle not from men nor through a man, but through Jesus Anointed and God a Father of the having raised him out of dead ones;
1 Eu, Paulo, escrevo esta carta — eu que fui chamado para ser apóstolo , não por pessoas ou por meio de uma pessoa, mas por Jesus Cristo e por Deus, o Pai, que ressuscitou Jesus da morte.
2 and those with me all brethren, to be congregations of the Galatia;
2 Todos os irmãos que estão aqui comigo mandam saudações às igrejas da Galácia.
3 favor to you and peace from God a Father, and Lord of us Jesus Anointed,
3 Que a graça e a paz de Deus, o nosso Pai, e do Senhor Jesus Cristo estejam com vocês!
4 of the having given himself concerning the sins of us, in order that he might rescue us out of the having been present an age of evil, according to the will of the God and Father of us,
4 Em obediência à vontade do nosso Deus e Pai, Cristo se entregou para ser morto a fim de tirar os nossos pecados e assim nos livrar deste mundo mau.
5 to whom the glory for the ages of the ages: So be it.
5 A Deus seja a glória para todo o sempre! Amém !
6 I wonder, because so quickly you are being changed from the one having called you by favor of Anointed to other glad tidings;
6 Estou muito admirado com vocês, pois estão abandonando tão depressa aquele que os chamou por meio da graça de Cristo e estão aceitando outro evangelho.
7 which not is other; if not some are who are troubling you, and wishing to turn about the glad tidings to you,
7 Na verdade não existe outro evangelho, porém eu falo assim porque há algumas pessoas que estão perturbando vocês, querendo mudar o evangelho de Cristo.
8 contrary to what we announced a messenger from heaven should announce glad tidings to you, contrary to what we announced to you, accursed let him be.
8 Mas, se alguém, mesmo que sejamos nós ou um anjo do céu, anunciar a vocês um evangelho diferente daquele que temos anunciado, que seja amaldiçoado!
9 As we before said, even now again I say: If any one you addresses with good tidings contrary to what you received, accursed let him be.
9 Pois já dissemos antes e repetimos: se alguém anunciar um evangelho diferente daquele que vocês aceitaram, que essa pessoa seja amaldiçoada!
10 Now for men do I obey, or the God? or do I seek men to please? if for still men I pleased, of Anointed a slave not I should be.
10 Por acaso eu procuro a aprovação das pessoas? Não! O que eu quero é a aprovação de Deus. Será que agora estou querendo agradar as pessoas? Se estivesse, eu não seria servo de Cristo.
11 I make known but to you, brethren, the glad tidings the having been announced by me, that not is according to man;
11 Meus irmãos, eu afirmo a vocês que o evangelho que eu anuncio não é uma invenção humana.
12 neither for I from man received it nor was I taught, but through a revelation of Jesus Anointed.
12 Eu não o recebi de ninguém, e ninguém o ensinou a mim, mas foi o próprio Jesus Cristo que o revelou para mim.
13 You heard for the my conduct formerly when in the Jewish religion, that exceedingly I persecuted the congregation of the God, and ravaged her;
13 Vocês ouviram falar de como eu costumava agir quando praticava a religião dos judeus. Sabem como eu perseguia sem dó nem piedade a Igreja de Deus e fazia tudo para destruí-la.
14 and made progress in the Jewish religion beyond many of the same age among the race of me more earnestly a zealot being of the fathers of me traditions.
14 Quando praticava essa religião, eu estava mais adiantado do que a maioria dos meus patrícios da minha idade e seguia com mais zelo do que eles as tradições dos meus antepassados.
15 When but it pleased the God, that having set apart me from womb of mother of me, and having called through the favor of himself,
15 Porém Deus, na sua graça , me escolheu antes mesmo de eu nascer e me chamou para servi-lo. E, quando ele resolveu
16 to reveal the son of himself to me, so that I might announce him to the nations; immediately, not I consulted with flesh and blood,
16 revelar para mim o seu Filho a fim de que eu anunciasse aos não judeus a boa notícia a respeito dele, eu não fui pedir conselhos a ninguém.
17 nor I went up to Jerusalem to those before me apostles, but I went into Arabia, and again returned to Damascus.
17 E também não fui até Jerusalém para falar com aqueles que eram apóstolos antes de mim. Pelo contrário, fui para a região da Arábia e depois voltei para Damasco.
18 Then after years three I went up to Jerusalem, to visit Peter, and I remained with him days fifteen;
18 Três anos depois, fui até Jerusalém para pedir informações a Pedro e fiquei duas semanas com ele.
19 other but of the apostles not I saw, if not James the brother of the Lord.
19 E não falei com nenhum outro apóstolo, a não ser com Tiago, irmão do Senhor.
20 (What now I write to you, lo in presence of the God, that not I am speaking falsely.)
20 O que estou escrevendo a vocês é verdade. Deus sabe que não estou mentindo.
21 Then I went into the regions of the Syria and of the Cilicia;
21 Depois fui para as regiões da Síria e da Cilícia.
22 I was but being unknown by the face to the congregation of the Judea those in Anointed;
22 Durante esse tempo as pessoas das igrejas da Judeia não me conheciam pessoalmente.
23 only but hearing they were: That the one persecuting us once, now proclaims as glad tidings the faith which once he was laying waste;
23 Elas somente tinham ouvido o que outros diziam: “Aquele que antes nos perseguia está anunciando agora a fé que no passado tentava destruir!”
24 and they were glorifying in me the God.
24 E louvavam a Deus por minha causa.
