5 yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 Õpa ãhraa Jesucristore Goãmʉ yare erã gojarapũ:
6 Because it is contained in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be put to shame.
7 Ĩgʉre umupeorãpʉ “Õatariagʉ ãhrimi,” arĩrãcoma. Ĩgʉre umupeobirãpʉ ñero warãcoma. Erãre õpa ãhraa Goãmʉ yare erã gojarapũgue:
7 To you therefore who believe {is} the preciousness; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders cast away as worthless, this is become head of {the} corner,
8 Õ sãre arãa Goãmʉ yare erã gojarapũ:
8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offence; {who} stumble at the word, being disobedient to which also they have been appointed.
9 Mʉapʉ Goãmʉ ĩgʉ beyenirã ãhraa. Ĩgʉ mari Opʉ ĩgʉ yarã pahia ĩgʉ yare itamurã ãhraa mʉa. Eropirã ĩgʉ ya curu majarã ñeri marirã Goãmʉ yarã ta ãhraa mʉa. Eropigʉ mʉare naitĩaro árĩbonirãre boyoropʉ árĩmorãre, ñerire iibirimorãre, õaripʉre iimorãre aĩdigʉ árĩmi mʉare. Eropa ta aĩdigʉ árĩmi Goãmʉ mʉa ĩgʉ õarire ĩgʉ õaro iirare gajirãre weremorãre.
9 But *ye* {are} a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
10 Ero coregue duhpimorã árĩbirimʉriribʉ mʉa. Dohpague tamerare Goãmʉ yarã ãhraa mʉa. Ero core mʉare mojomoro ĩabupʉ marinimi mʉare dohpa. Dohpaguepʉre mʉare Goãmʉ mojomoro ĩagʉ ãhrimi.
10 who once {were} not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.
11 Yʉ mahirã, mʉa i ʉmʉre wari masa iro dopa ãhraa dohpaguere. Goãmʉ pohro wamorã ta ãhraa. Mʉa eropa árĩrã árĩcʉ̃, ire turaro werea mʉare: Mʉa ñeri ʉaribejarire iibiricãque. Iri ñerire ʉaribejarã, ñerã warã iica mʉa.
11 Beloved, I exhort {you}, as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 Goãmʉre gamebirã watope árĩrã õaro iirã árĩque mʉa gʉare werewʉari arĩrã. Mʉa eropa iirã árĩcʉ̃ mʉare dohpaguere ñero werewʉadiaquererã mʉa õaro iirire masirãcoma erã. Eropa masirã erã Goãmʉre “Õagʉ, turagʉ ãhrimi,” arĩrãcoma. Õpa ta arĩrãcoma Cristo ĩgʉ i yebague ĩgʉ dujaricʉ̃.
12 having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that {as to that} in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through {your} good works, {themselves} witnessing {them}, glorify God in {the} day of visitation.
13 Mari Opʉ yare iirã árĩrã õ majarã oparã sãre yʉhrique mʉa. I yeba majagʉre mʉa árĩpehrerã tauro opʉ árĩgʉre ĩgʉ sãre yʉhrique.

14 or to rulers as sent by him, for vengeance on evildoers, and praise to them that do well.
15 Mʉa õaro iicʉ̃ ĩarã, pee masibirã erã sihajaro mʉare weresãdiaquererã ta weresãmasibeama. Eropigʉ mʉa õaro iicʉ̃ gahmemi Goãmʉ.
15 Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;
16 Mʉa ñecʉ sʉmarã árĩricʉri doca árĩnirãre Goãmʉ mʉare taudigʉ árĩmi. Eropa taunirã árĩquererã ta, “Gʉare doreri mara. Eropirã gʉa ñerire iirãca,” arĩ pepibiricãque ñerire iiri arĩrã. Eropirã “Goãmʉ pohro majarã ãhraa gʉa,” arĩ pepique mʉa. Eropa arĩ pepirã ĩgʉ dorerire iique mʉa.
16 as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.

17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.
18 Mʉa pohro majarãre weregʉ iiaa dohpaguere. Mʉa õaro umupeori mera mʉa oparãre yʉhrirã árĩque. Õarã, mʉare õaro iirã mera dihtare yʉhrirã árĩbiricãque. Mʉa mera guarã sãre yʉhrique mʉa.
18 Servants, {be} subject with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the ill-tempered.
19 Mʉa ñero iibiriquerecʉ̃, mʉare erã dipuwaja moabocoma. Erã eropa dipuwaja moarare Goãmʉ ĩgʉ gamero dopa ta irire mʉa yujuro bojecʉ̃ “Õaro iiabʉ mʉa,” arĩgʉcumi Goãmʉ mʉare.
19 For this {is} acceptable, if one, for conscience sake towards God, endure griefs, suffering unjustly.
20 Mʉa ñero iira wajapʉ erã mʉare dipuwaja moasũcʉ̃ irire mʉa yujuro bojequerecʉ̃ Goãmʉ “Õaro iiabʉ mʉa,” arĩsome. Mari õaro iiquererã erã dipuwaja moasũcʉ̃ irire mari õaro mera guaro mariro árĩcʉ̃ yujuro bojecʉ̃ Goãmʉ marire õaro ĩhasʉagʉcumi.
20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
21 Eropa iimorãre ĩgʉ yarã árĩdoremi Goãmʉ mʉare. Cristo sã mʉa ya árĩburire ñero tarimi mʉa ĩgʉre ĩhacũboro dopa.
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 Ĩgʉ ne ñero iibirimi. Eropigʉ ne gʉyabirimi.
22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
23 Ĩgʉre turicʉ̃, ĩgʉpʉ erãre ne turi gamebirimi. Ĩgʉre erã ñero iiquerecʉ̃ ta “Mʉare ñero iigʉra,” ne arĩbirimi ĩgʉ. Eropigʉ “Ahʉ queoro dipuwaja moagʉ ãhrimi. Ĩgʉgue amugʉcumi,” arĩ pepiñumi ĩgʉ. Eropirã mari sãre ĩgʉ iidiro dopa ta iiro gahmea.
23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;

24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.

25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
