1 I² la⁴ne³ jon³ tei⁴³ hnei³ la⁴jeg³⁴ i⁴hlagh³², jian³ i⁴ma³co³i³, jian³ i⁴júan³i³ teun³⁴ nei², jian³ i⁴eu⁴³ tsei⁴³i³ jian³ la⁴jeg³⁴ i⁴hleh²i³ hlagh³² nei² quieh¹ a³sang²³.
1 Deponde, pois, toda malícia, toda astúcia, fingimentos, invejas e toda espécie de maledicência.
2 Júan² hnei³ i⁴hnoh³ˉ³ o¹jeh² quieh¹ m⁴tyi⁴ i⁴sa⁴ni²conh² liah⁴i² lang⁴³ si³yein³ a³can¹ cuan³⁴, canh⁴a² con⁴juah⁴ i⁴jon³ si⁵cúanh³ˉ³ i⁴lionh⁴ˉ³,
2 as newborn babes desire earnestly the pure mental milk of the word, that by it ye may grow up to salvation,
3 juah⁴ne³ i⁴chie⁴³ ma³ra⁵ñih¹ˉ³ liah⁴ tsein³⁴ Se³ño²³.
3 if indeed ye have tasted that the Lord {is} good.
4 Cua³ hnei³ ta⁵hlonh² a³lang⁴³ a²caun² sian³, i⁴ma²a⁴ton³⁴ chie³; i² i²con²³ Jon⁴dai¹ ne⁵, leg⁴³ con³ i⁴tyein² quein⁴³ i⁴a⁴hnoh³i³.

5 yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 Quie¹ ra³juah⁴ ra³sag² Ma²jyi³:
6 Because it is contained in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be put to shame.
7 Jian³ i²conh² hnei³ tionh²ˉ³ a³ti²hainh⁴ˉ³, lang⁴³i³ a³tyein² quein⁴³; i² i²con²³ a³sa⁴hain⁴ ne⁵, liah⁴i² ra³juah⁴ ra³sag² Ma²jyi³:
7 To you therefore who believe {is} the preciousness; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders cast away as worthless, this is become head of {the} corner,
8 Jian³ ra³juah⁴ liah⁴:
8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offence; {who} stumble at the word, being disobedient to which also they have been appointed.
9 Jian³ hnei³ tionh²ˉ³ liah⁴, langh⁴³ˉ³ jeun³ a³quianh², jeun³ m³chie³ a³tain⁴³ Re¹, a³jeu³ cúanh¹, a³jeu³ quian¹ Jon⁴dai¹ jian³ a³tain⁴³ jñeih³ la⁴jeg³⁴ i⁴tsei³⁴ júan³ a³hain⁴ a³a⁴te⁴ hnei³ i⁴a⁴jauh³ˉ³ i²naih³ i⁴a⁴heuh³ˉ³ i²joh¹ i²co³ jnia⁴ quieh¹i³.
9 But *ye* {are} a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
10 Quie¹ liah⁴ma²jia⁴³ sa⁴ma²langh⁴³ˉ³ a³jeu³, i² tieh²la³pa² ma³langh⁴³ˉ³ a³jeu³ quian¹ Jon⁴dai¹; jian³ liah⁴ma²jia⁴³ jon³, a⁵sia³ a⁴tangh⁴ˉ³ i⁴joh³ ñei⁴ tsei⁴³ Jon⁴dai¹ i²conh²ˉ³, i² tieh²la³ pi¹ a⁴tangh⁴ˉ³ tionh²ˉ³ i⁴joh³ ñei⁴ tsei⁴³i³ jon³.
10 who once {were} not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.
11 Hnei³ tionh²ˉ³ a³hno⁵ˉ⁵, mh⁵ˉ⁵ hnei³ tionh²ˉ³ i⁴langh⁴³ˉ³ liah⁴i² lang⁴³ a³sian³ ta⁵seg³⁴, a³sa⁴leg⁴³ jeu³ co²³ m⁵cu³ la³, i⁴teih³²ˉ³ la⁴jeg³⁴ i⁴si³hyonh³ heh³²ˉ³ i⁴si³tang⁴ jian²³ m⁴tyi⁴ quianh³ˉ³.
11 Beloved, I exhort {you}, as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 Re³ ŋeng² hnei³ tionh²ˉ³ jen² la⁴jang³⁴ chie³ sang²³, canh⁴a² la⁴jang³⁴ a³hleh² hlagh³² nei² quianh³ˉ³ i⁴la⁴jan³ a³ti²ren³ chie³², júan³⁴i³ i⁴júanh⁴³ Jon⁴dai¹ jm² i⁴jionh⁴i³, i⁴je²³i³ la⁴jeg³⁴ i⁴tsei³⁴ i⁴júanh³ˉ³ tieh²la³.
12 having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that {as to that} in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through {your} good works, {themselves} witnessing {them}, glorify God in {the} day of visitation.
13 Jian³ nei² quieh¹ Se³ño²³, hniah³ ma²coh³²ˉ³ heih⁴³ quieh¹ la⁴jang³⁴ si³ta¹, o⁴ gobierno tyein² a³quian³ heih⁴³ pain⁴,

14 jian³ o⁴ si²mah⁴ tyein² a³sain³i³ a³heh² ma²eu⁴³ a³ti²ren³ chie³², jian³ a³hleh² re³ nei² quieh¹ a³júan³ i⁴tsei³⁴.
14 or to rulers as sent by him, for vengeance on evildoers, and praise to them that do well.
15 Quie¹ Jon⁴dai¹ hnie³⁴ i⁴júanh²ˉ³ i⁴tsei³⁴, canh⁴a² cauh³ lau² la⁴jang³⁴ a³sa⁴ŋang⁴, a³can³ tsei⁴³ tionh².
15 Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;
16 Ma⁴jnia³² hnei³ tionh²ˉ³ i⁴si¹ja⁵ jeu³ quianh³ˉ³, a⁵jon⁴³ liah⁴i² júan³ a³si¹ja⁵ jeu³ quieh¹ a³hnie³⁴ júan³⁴ i⁴hlagh³²; a⁵sia³, quie¹ liah⁴i² júan³ a³cúa²³ cúa³tag³² i²con²³ Jon⁴dai¹pa².
16 as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.
17 Jian³ ma⁴con³² hnei³ la⁴jang³⁴. Ma⁴hno³² hnei³ si³reunh⁴ˉ¹, júan² hnei³ canh⁴³ Jon⁴dai¹, ma⁴con³² hnei³ gobierno liah⁴.
17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.
18 Hnei³ tionh²ˉ³ a³júan³ ta¹ quieh¹ chie³, júan² hnei³ naih¹ˉ³ la⁴jeg³⁴ heih⁴³ quieh¹ jeuh³²ˉ³ i⁴re³ ma⁵conh³²i³ hnei³, a⁵jon⁴³ jmah³ i²con²³ a³tsei³⁴ tsei⁴³ jian³ o⁴ a³huan³², quie¹ i²con²³ a³m³tsainh² liah⁴.
18 Servants, {be} subject with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the ill-tempered.
19 Quie¹ juah⁴ne³ can²³ jan³ ma²eu⁴³ i⁴sa⁴sia³ nei² i¹con³, i⁴cúah²i³ tsei⁴³, i⁴hnie³⁴i³ ma⁴tei⁵i³ i²con²³ Jon⁴dai¹, jon³ je³ Jon⁴dai¹ quieh¹i³ i⁴tsein³⁴i³.
19 For this {is} acceptable, if one, for conscience sake towards God, endure griefs, suffering unjustly.
20 Quie¹ ¿henh⁴ quein⁴³ i⁴cúah⁵ˉ³ hoh⁴³ i⁴canh³ˉ³ ma²eu⁴³ i⁴ta⁵canh¹ˉ³ chie³²? I² juah⁴ne³ cúah⁵ˉ³ hoh⁴³ i⁴canh³ˉ³ ma²eu⁴³ i⁴júanh³ˉ³ i⁴tsei³⁴ ne⁵, i⁴ne³pa² teg³ tsei⁴³ Jon⁴dai¹.
20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
21 Quie¹ nei² ne³pa² a⁴te⁴i³ hnei³ tionh²ˉ³; quie¹ a⁴can³⁴ Cristo ma²eu⁴³ nei² quian⁴ˉ¹, con³ i⁴a⁴he⁴i³ i²con²³ˉ¹, canh⁴a² li⁴chie³²ˉ¹ jeu³ jon³ liah⁴.
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 Jian³ hei⁴i³ i¹con³ chie³² sa⁴ta⁴canh¹i³, jian³ i¹con³ jau²³ ma³co³ sa⁴a⁴hleh⁴i³.
22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
23 Jian³ con³ma²a⁴sag⁴³ chie³ jau²hlagh³² quieh¹i³, a⁵sia³ jau²hlagh³² a⁴jainh³i³; i² con³ma²a⁴heh³i³ ma²eu⁴³, a⁵sia³ a⁴jainh³i³ jau²³ juah⁴ i⁴hniah³ heh³i³ ma²eu⁴³ a³hain⁴ tionh², a⁵sia³, quie¹ a⁴cúanh³i³ joh⁴³ cúa³ Jon⁴dai¹ a³can²³ jau²chie⁴³ la⁴conh⁴ ni²tei⁴³.
23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
24 Quie¹ a⁴can³⁴ he³²i³ chie³² quian⁴ˉ¹, con³ ma²a⁴jaun³⁴i³ nei² crau¹, canh⁴a² li⁴jaun⁴ˉ¹ i²con²³ chie³², jian³ li⁴sian³ˉ¹ i⁴júan³²ˉ¹ i⁴tsei³⁴. Jian³ con⁴juah⁴ i²a⁴hna⁴ quieh¹i³ ma³a⁴huan⁴ quianh³ˉ³ liah⁴ tionh²ˉ³.
24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.
25 Quie¹ ma²langh⁴³ˉ³ liah⁴i² lang⁴³ a⁵a³siah³ a³ua⁴han² conh², i² tieh²la³ ma³a⁴cuanh³ˉ³ i²con²³ Jeuh³², a³hain⁴ A³hion⁴³ m⁴tyi⁴ quianh³ˉ³.
25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
