1 ⲠⲀⲖⲒⲚ ⲞⲚ ⲀϤⲞⲨⲰϢⲂ ⲚϬⲒ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ⲚⲀⲨ ϨⲒⲦⲚ ϨⲈⲚⲠⲀⲢⲀⲂⲞⲖⲎ ⲈϤϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ.
1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:
2 ϪⲈ ⲈⲤⲦⲚⲦⲰⲚ ⲚϬⲒ ⲦⲘⲚⲦⲢⲢⲞ ⲚⲘⲠⲎⲨⲈ ⲈⲨⲢⲰⲘⲈ ⲚⲢⲢⲞ. ⲠⲀⲒ ⲚⲦⲀϤⲈⲒⲢⲈ ⲚⲞⲨϢⲈⲖⲈⲈⲦ ⲘⲠⲈϤϢⲎⲢⲈ.
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 ⲀϤϪⲞⲞⲨ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚⲚⲈϤϨⲘϨⲀⲖ ⲈⲦⲰϨⲘ ⲈⲚⲈⲦⲦⲀϨⲘ ⲈⲦϢⲈⲖⲈⲈⲦ. ⲚⲦⲞⲞⲨ ⲆⲈ ⲘⲠⲞⲨⲞⲨⲰϢ ⲈⲈⲒ.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 ⲠⲀⲖⲒⲚ ⲞⲚ ⲀϤϪⲞⲞⲨ ⲚϨⲈⲚⲔⲈϨⲘϨⲀⲖ ⲈⲚⲀϢⲰⲞⲨ ⲈϤϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲀϪⲒⲤ ⲚⲚⲈⲦⲦⲀϨⲘ ϪⲈ ⲈⲒⲤ ϨⲎⲎⲦⲈ ⲈⲒⲤⲠⲀⲀⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲚ ⲀⲒⲤⲂⲦⲰⲦϤ ⲚⲀⲘⲀⲤⲈ ⲘⲚ ⲚⲈⲦⲤⲀⲚⲀϢⲦ ⲤⲈϢⲀⲀⲦ ⲀⲨⲰ ⲚⲔⲀ ⲚⲒⲘ ⲤⲂⲦⲰⲦ ⲀⲘⲎⲒⲦⲚ ⲈⲦϢⲈⲖⲈⲈⲦ.
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 ⲚⲦⲞⲞⲨ ⲆⲈ ⲀⲨⲀⲘⲈⲖⲈⲒ ⲀⲨⲂⲰⲔ. ϨⲞⲒⲚⲈ ⲘⲈⲚ ⲈⲚⲈⲨϬⲞⲞⲘ. ⲔⲈⲞⲨⲀ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲦⲈϤⲈⲒⲈⲠϢⲰⲦ.
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 ⲠⲔⲈⲤⲈⲈⲠⲈ ⲆⲈ ⲀⲨⲀⲘⲀϨⲦⲈ ⲚⲚⲈϤϨⲘϨⲀⲖ ⲀⲨⲤⲞⲤⲞⲨ ⲀⲨⲰ ⲀⲨⲘⲞⲞⲨⲦⲞⲨ.
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 ⲠⲢⲢⲞ ⲆⲈ ⲀϤⲚⲞⲨϬⲤ. ⲀⲨⲰ ⲀϤϪⲞⲞⲨ ⲚⲚⲈϤⲤⲦⲢⲀⲦⲈⲨⲘⲀ ⲀϤⲦⲀⲔⲞ ⲚⲚⲢⲈϤϨⲰⲦⲂ ⲈⲦⲘⲘⲀⲨ. ⲀⲨⲰ ⲀϤⲢⲰⲔϨ ⲚⲦⲈⲨⲠⲞⲖⲒⲤ.
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 ⲦⲞⲦⲈ ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ⲚⲚⲈϤϨⲘϨⲀⲖ. ϪⲈ ⲠⲘⲀ ⲚϢⲈⲖⲈⲈⲦ ⲘⲈⲚ ⲤⲂⲦⲰⲦ ⲚⲈⲦⲦⲀϨⲘ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲈⲨⲘⲠϢⲀ ⲀⲚ.
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 ⲂⲰⲔ ϬⲈ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲈⲘⲘⲀ ⲚⲘⲞⲞϢⲈ ⲚⲚⲈϨⲒⲞⲞⲨⲈ ⲚⲦⲈⲦⲚ ⲦⲰϨⲘ ⲚⲚⲈⲦⲈⲦⲚⲚⲀϨⲈ ⲈⲢⲞⲞⲨ ⲈⲠⲘⲀ ⲚϢⲈⲖⲈⲈⲦ.
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 ⲀⲨⲈⲒ ϬⲈ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚϬⲒ ⲚϨⲘϨⲀⲖ ⲈⲦⲘⲘⲀⲨ ⲈⲚⲈϨⲒⲞⲞⲨⲈ ⲀⲨϪⲒ ⲈϨⲞⲨⲚ ⲚⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲚⲒⲘ ⲚⲦⲀⲨϨⲈ ⲈⲢⲞⲞⲨ ⲠⲞⲚⲎⲢⲞⲤ ϨⲒⲀⲄⲀⲐⲞⲤ. ⲀϤⲘⲞⲨϨ ⲚϬⲒ ⲠⲘⲀ ⲚϢⲈⲖⲈⲈⲦ ⲚⲚⲈⲦⲚⲎϪ.
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 ⲀϤⲂⲰⲔ ⲆⲈ ⲈϨⲞⲨⲚ ⲚϬⲒ ⲠⲢⲢⲞ ⲈⲚⲀⲨ ⲈⲚⲈⲦⲚⲎϪ. ⲀϤⲚⲀⲨ ⲈⲨⲢⲰⲘⲈ ⲘⲠⲘⲀ ⲈⲦⲘⲘⲀⲨ ⲈⲘⲚϨⲂⲤⲰ ϨⲒⲰⲰϤ ⲘⲘⲀ ⲚϢⲈⲖⲈⲈⲦ.
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ⲚⲀϤ ϪⲈ ⲠⲈϢⲂⲎⲢ ⲚⲀϢ ⲚϨⲈ ⲀⲔⲈⲒ ⲈϨⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲠⲈⲒⲘⲀ ⲈⲘⲚϨⲂⲤⲰ ϨⲒⲰⲰⲔ ⲘⲘⲀ ⲚϢⲈⲖⲈⲈⲦ. ⲚⲦⲞϤ ⲆⲈ ⲀⲢⲰϤ ⲦⲰⲘ.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ⲚϬⲒ ⲠⲢⲢⲞ ⲚⲚⲈⲦⲆⲒⲀⲔⲞⲚⲈⲒ ϪⲈ ⲘⲞⲨⲢ ⲚⲚⲈϤϬⲒϪ ⲘⲚ ⲚⲈϤⲞⲨⲈⲢⲎⲦⲈ ⲚⲦⲈⲦⲚ ⲚⲞⲨϪⲈ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲈⲠⲔⲀⲔⲈ ⲈⲦϨⲒⲂⲞⲖ. ⲈϤⲚⲀϢⲰⲠⲈ ⲘⲘⲀⲨ ⲚϬⲒ ⲠⲢⲒⲘⲈ. ⲀⲨⲰ ⲠϬⲀϨϬϨ ⲚⲚⲞⲂϨⲈ.
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 ϨⲀϨ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲚⲈⲦⲦⲀϨⲘ ϨⲈⲚⲔⲞⲨⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲈⲦⲤⲞⲦⲠ.
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 ⲦⲞⲦⲈ ⲀⲨⲂⲰⲔ ⲚϬⲒ ⲚⲈⲪⲀⲢⲒⲤⲤⲀⲒⲞⲤ ⲀⲨϪⲒ ⲚⲞⲨϢⲞϪⲚⲈ ϪⲈⲔⲀⲀⲤ ⲈⲨⲈϬⲞⲠϤ ϨⲚ ⲞⲨϢⲀϪⲈ.

16 ⲀⲨϪⲞⲞⲨ ⲚⲀϤ ⲚⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲐⲎⲦⲎⲤ ⲘⲚ ⲚϨⲎⲢⲰⲆⲒⲀⲚⲞⲤ ⲈⲨϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲠⲤⲀϨ ⲦⲚⲤⲞⲞⲨⲚ ϪⲈ ⲚⲦⲔⲞⲨⲘⲈ ⲀⲨⲰ ⲦⲈϨⲒⲎ ⲘⲠⲚⲞⲨⲦⲈ ⲈⲔϮⲤⲂⲰ ⲚϨⲎⲦⲤ ϨⲚ ⲞⲨⲘⲈ ⲀⲨⲰ ⲘⲠⲈⲔⲢⲞⲞⲨϢ ⲀⲚ ⲠⲈ ϨⲀⲖⲀⲀⲨ ⲚⲈⲔϬⲰϢⲦ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲀⲚ ⲠⲈ ⲈϨⲞ ⲚⲢⲰⲘⲈ.
16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 ⲀϪⲒⲤ ϬⲈ ⲚⲀⲚ ϪⲈ ⲞⲨ ⲠⲈⲦⲤⲆⲞⲔⲈⲒ ⲚⲀⲔ. ⲈⲜⲈⲤⲦⲈⲒ ⲈϮⲔⲨⲚⲤⲞⲤ ⲘⲠⲢⲢⲞ ϪⲚⲞⲨⲔ ⲈⲜⲈⲤⲦⲈⲒ.
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 ⲚⲦⲈⲢⲈϤⲈⲒⲘⲈ ⲆⲈ ⲚϬⲒ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲈⲦⲈⲨⲠⲞⲚⲎⲢⲒⲀ ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ⲚⲀⲨ. ϪⲈ ⲀϨⲢⲰⲦⲚ ⲦⲈⲦⲚⲠⲈⲒⲢⲀⲌⲈ ⲘⲘⲞⲒ ⲚϨⲨⲠⲞⲔⲢⲒⲦⲎⲤ.
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 ⲘⲀⲦⲞⲨⲞⲒ ⲈⲠⲚⲞⲘⲒⲤⲘⲀ ⲘⲠⲔⲨⲚⲤⲞⲤ. ⲚⲦⲞⲞⲨ ⲆⲈ ⲀⲨⲈⲒⲚⲈ ⲚⲀϤ ⲚⲞⲨⲤⲀⲦⲈⲈⲢⲈ.
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ⲚⲀⲨ. ϪⲈ ⲦⲀⲚⲒⲘ ⲦⲈ ⲦⲈⲒϨⲒⲔⲰⲚ ⲘⲚ ⲦⲈⲒⲈⲠⲈⲒⲄⲢⲀⲪⲎ.
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 ⲠⲈϪⲀⲨ ⲚⲀϤ ϪⲈ ⲦⲀⲠⲢⲢⲞ ⲦⲈ. ⲦⲞⲦⲈ ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ⲚⲀⲨ ϪⲈ Ϯ ϬⲈ ⲚⲚⲀⲠⲢⲢⲞ ⲘⲠⲢⲢⲞ. ⲀⲨⲰ ⲚⲀⲠⲚⲞⲨⲦⲈ ⲘⲠⲚⲞⲨⲦⲈ.
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 ⲀⲨⲤⲰⲦⲘ ⲆⲈ ⲀⲨⲢϢⲠⲎⲢⲈ. ⲀⲨⲰ ⲀⲨⲔⲰ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲀⲨⲂⲰⲔ.
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 ϨⲘⲠⲈϨⲞⲞⲨ ⲈⲦⲘⲘⲀⲨ ⲀⲨϮⲠⲈⲨⲞⲨⲞⲒ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ⲚϬⲒ ⲚⲤⲀⲆⲆⲞⲨⲔⲀⲒⲞⲤ. ⲚⲀⲒ ⲈⲦϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲘⲚ ⲀⲚⲀⲤⲦⲀⲤⲒⲤ ⲚⲀϢⲰⲠⲈ. ⲀⲨϪⲚⲞⲨϤ ⲆⲈ.

24 ⲈⲨϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲠⲤⲀϨ. ⲀϤϪⲞⲞⲤ ⲚϬⲒ ⲘⲰⲨⲤⲎⲤ ϪⲈ ⲈϢⲰⲠⲈ ⲈⲢϢⲀⲚⲞⲨⲀ ⲘⲞⲨ ⲈⲘⲚⲦϤϢⲎⲢⲈ ⲘⲘⲀⲨ ⲈⲢⲈⲠⲈϤⲤⲞⲚ ϪⲒ ⲚⲦⲈϤⲤϨⲒⲘⲈ ⲚϤⲦⲞⲨⲚⲞⲤ ⲚⲞⲨⲤⲠⲈⲢⲘⲀ ⲘⲠⲈϤⲤⲞⲚ.
24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 ⲈⲚⲈⲨϢⲞⲞⲠ ⲆⲈ ϨⲀⲦⲎⲚ ⲠⲈ ⲚϬⲒ ⲤⲀϢϤ ⲚⲤⲞⲚ. ⲀⲨⲰ ⲠϢⲞⲢⲠ ⲀϤϪⲒϨⲒⲘⲈ ⲀϤⲘⲞⲨ ⲀⲨⲰ ⲈⲘⲚⲦϤϢⲎⲢⲈ ⲘⲘⲀⲨ ⲀϤⲔⲰ ⲚⲦⲈϤⲤϨⲒⲘⲈ ⲘⲠⲈϤⲤⲞⲚ.
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 ϨⲞⲘⲞⲒⲰⲤ ⲠⲘⲈϨⲤⲚⲀⲨ ⲀⲨⲰ ⲠⲘⲈϨϢⲞⲘⲚⲦ ϢⲀⲈϨⲢⲀⲒ ⲈⲠⲘⲈϨⲤⲀϢϤ.
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 ⲘⲚⲚⲤⲰⲞⲨ ⲆⲈ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ ⲀⲤⲘⲞⲨ ⲚϬⲒ ⲦⲈⲤϨⲒⲘⲈ.
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 ϨⲢⲀⲒ ϬⲈ ϨⲚ ⲦⲀⲚⲀⲤⲦⲀⲤⲒⲤ ⲈⲤⲚⲀϢⲰⲠⲈ ⲚⲤϨⲒⲘⲈ ⲚⲚⲒⲘ ⲘⲠⲤⲀϢϤ. ⲀⲨϪⲒⲦⲤ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ.
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 ⲀϤⲞⲨⲰϢⲂ ⲆⲈ ⲚϬⲒ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ⲚⲀⲨ ϪⲈ ⲦⲈⲦⲚⲠⲖⲀⲚⲀ ⲈⲚⲦⲈⲦⲚⲤⲞⲞⲨⲚ ⲀⲚ ⲚⲚⲈⲄⲢⲀⲪⲎ. ⲞⲨⲦⲈ ⲦϬⲞⲘ ⲘⲠⲚⲞⲨⲦⲈ.
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 ϨⲢⲀⲒ ⲄⲀⲢ ϨⲚ ⲦⲀⲚⲀⲤⲦⲀⲤⲒⲤ. ⲞⲨⲦⲈ ⲘⲈⲨϪⲒⲤϨⲒⲘⲈ. ⲞⲨⲦⲈ ⲘⲈⲨϨⲘⲞⲞⲤ ⲘⲚ ϨⲀⲒ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲈⲨⲚⲀϢⲰⲠⲈ ⲚⲐⲈ ⲚⲚⲀⲄⲄⲈⲖⲞⲤ ⲈⲦϨⲚ ⲦⲠⲈ.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.
31 ⲈⲦⲂⲈ ⲦⲀⲚⲀⲤⲦⲀⲤⲒⲤ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲚⲈⲦⲘⲞⲞⲨⲦ. ⲘⲠⲈⲦⲚⲰϢ ⲘⲠⲈⲚⲦⲀⲨϪⲞⲞϤ ⲚⲎⲦⲚ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲘ ⲠⲚⲞⲨⲦⲈ ⲈϤϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ.
31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:
32 ϪⲈ ⲀⲚⲞⲔ ⲠⲈ ⲠⲚⲞⲨⲦⲈ ⲚⲀⲂⲢⲀϨⲀⲘ ⲠⲚⲞⲨⲦⲈ ⲚⲒⲤⲀⲀⲔ ⲠⲚⲞⲨⲦⲈ ⲚⲒⲀⲔⲰⲂ. ⲠⲚⲞⲨⲦⲈ ⲚⲚⲈⲦⲘⲞⲞⲨⲦ ⲀⲚ ⲠⲈ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲠⲀⲚⲈⲦⲞⲚϨ ⲠⲈ.
32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.
33 ⲀⲨⲤⲰⲦⲘ ⲆⲈ ⲚϬⲒ ⲘⲘⲎⲎϢⲈ ⲀⲨⲢϢⲠⲎⲢⲈ ⲈϨⲢⲀⲒ ⲈϪⲚ ⲦⲈϤⲤⲂⲰ.
33 E, ouvindo esta doutrina, as turbas se enchiam de grande admiração.
34 ⲚⲦⲈⲢⲞⲨⲤⲰⲦⲘ ⲆⲈ ⲚϬⲒ ⲚⲈⲪⲀⲢⲒⲤⲤⲀⲒⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲀϤϢⲦⲘⲢⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲚⲤⲀⲆⲆⲞⲨⲔⲀⲒⲞⲤ ⲀⲨⲤⲰⲞⲨϨ ⲈⲚⲈⲨⲈⲢⲎⲞⲨ.
34 Sabendo os fariseus que Jesus reduzira ao silêncio os saduceus, reuniram-se
35 ⲀϤϪⲚⲞⲨϤ ⲚϬⲒ ⲞⲨⲀ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚϨⲎⲦⲞⲨ ⲞⲨⲚⲞⲘⲰⲆⲒⲆⲀⲤⲔⲀⲖⲞⲤ ⲈϤⲠⲈⲒⲢⲀⲌⲈ ⲘⲘⲞϤ.
35 e um deles, doutor da lei, fez-lhe esta pergunta para pô-lo à prova:
36 ϪⲈ ⲠⲤⲀϨ ⲀϢ ⲦⲈ ⲦⲚⲞϬ ⲚⲈⲚⲦⲞⲖⲎ ϨⲢⲀⲒ ϨⲘ ⲠⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ.
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 ⲚⲦⲞϤ ⲆⲈ ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ⲚⲀϤ ϪⲈ ⲈⲔⲈⲘⲈⲢⲈⲠϪⲞⲈⲒⲤ ⲠⲈⲔⲚⲞⲨⲦⲈ ϨⲘ ⲠⲈⲔϨⲎⲦ ⲦⲎⲢϤ ⲀⲨⲰ ϨⲢⲀⲒ ϨⲚ ⲦⲈⲔⲮⲨⲬⲎ ⲦⲎⲢⲤ ⲀⲨⲰ ϨⲢⲀⲒ ϨⲚ ⲚⲈⲔⲘⲈⲈⲨⲈ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ.
37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.
38 ⲦⲀⲒ ⲦⲈ ⲦⲚⲞϬ ⲀⲨⲰ ⲦϢⲞⲢⲠ ⲈⲚⲈⲚⲦⲞⲖⲎ.
38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.
39 ⲦⲘⲈϨⲤⲚⲦⲈ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲦⲈⲒⲚⲈ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ⲦⲈ ⲦⲀⲒ ϪⲈ ⲈⲔⲈⲘⲈⲢⲈ ⲠⲈⲦϨⲒⲦⲞⲨⲰⲔ ⲚⲦⲈⲔϨⲈ.
39 E o segundo, semelhante a este, é: Amarás teu próximo como a ti mesmo {Lv 19,18}.
40 ⲠⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ ⲘⲚ ⲚⲈⲠⲢⲞⲪⲎⲦⲎⲤ ⲈⲨⲀϢⲈ ϨⲚ ⲦⲈⲒⲈⲚⲦⲞⲖⲎ ⲤⲚⲦⲈ.
40 Nesses dois mandamentos se resumem toda a lei e os profetas.

41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:
42 ⲈϤϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲞⲨ ⲠⲈⲦⲤⲆⲞⲔⲈⲒ ⲚⲎⲦⲚ ⲈⲦⲂⲈ ⲠⲈⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ. ⲠϢⲎⲢⲈ ⲚⲚⲒⲘ ⲠⲈ. ⲠⲈϪⲀⲨ ⲚⲀϤ ϪⲈ ⲠϢⲎⲢⲈ ⲚⲆⲀⲨⲈⲒⲆ ⲠⲈ.
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ⲚⲀⲨ. ϪⲈ ⲚⲀϢ ⲚϨⲈ ⲆⲀⲨⲈⲒⲆ ⲘⲞⲨⲦⲈ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ϨⲘ ⲠⲈⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀ ϪⲈ ⲠϪⲞⲈⲒⲤ ⲈϤϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ.
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 ϪⲈ ⲠⲈϪⲈⲠϪⲞⲈⲒⲤ ⲘⲠⲀϪⲞⲈⲒⲤ ϪⲈ ϨⲘ ⲞⲞⲤ ⲚⲤⲀⲞⲨⲚⲀⲘ ⲘⲘⲞⲒ ϢⲀⲚϮⲔⲰ ⲚⲚⲈⲔϪⲒⲚϪⲈⲈⲨⲈ ϨⲀⲠⲈⲤⲎⲦ ⲚⲚⲈⲔⲞⲨⲈⲢⲎⲦⲈ.
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 ⲈϢϪⲈ ⲆⲀⲨⲈⲒⲆ ϬⲈ ⲘⲞⲨⲦⲈ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ϪⲈ ⲠϪⲞⲈⲒⲤ ⲚⲀϢ ⲚϨⲈ ⲠⲈϤϢⲎⲢⲈ ⲠⲈ.
45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?
46 ⲀⲨⲰ ⲘⲠⲈⲖⲀⲀⲨ ϬⲘϬⲞⲘ ⲈⲞⲨⲞϢⲂⲈϤ ⲚⲞⲨϢⲀϪⲈ ⲞⲨⲦⲈ ⲘⲠⲈⲖⲀⲀⲨ ⲦⲞⲖⲘⲀ ϪⲒⲚⲠⲈϨⲞⲞⲨ ⲈⲦⲘⲘⲀⲨ ⲈϪⲚⲞⲨϤ.
46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
