1 Deponde, pois, toda malícia, toda astúcia, fingimentos, invejas e toda espécie de maledicência.
2 Siataꞌaj aꞌyan huárɨnyij matɨꞌɨj ɨ tɨꞌríij, ɨ maj jahuoo mej mij huátzeꞌnyij ɨ junáanaj jitze, mej mij aꞌɨ́jna jɨn huahuóseꞌen, ajta jeꞌen huóꞌhuɨɨreꞌen,
2 as newborn babes desire earnestly the pure mental milk of the word, that by it ye may grow up to salvation,
3 jiꞌnye muaꞌaj xu seríj jáamuaꞌreeriꞌ tɨ ɨ tavástaraꞌ tyámuaꞌ tyajaꞌmuachaꞌɨj.
3 if indeed ye have tasted that the Lord {is} good.
4 Siataꞌaj ajtyáxɨɨrej ɨ tavástaraꞌ jimi, ɨ tɨ aꞌɨ́ɨn puéꞌeen ɨ tyetyéj tɨ júurij ɨ maj ɨ tyétyacaa majuuhuáꞌxɨj, ajta ɨ Dios pu aꞌyan tyeꞌentyíhuo tɨꞌij jéehua huápuɨꞌɨj tyuꞌtyáhuɨɨreꞌen.

5 yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 Aꞌɨ́j pu jɨn ajta aꞌyan tyáꞌxaj ɨ yuꞌxarij jitze tɨjɨn:
6 Because it is contained in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be put to shame.
7 Ajta jaꞌmua jimi mu siaj tyáꞌtzaahuatyeꞌ, aꞌɨ́jna ɨ tyetyéj jéehua pu tyáꞌnajchij, ajta aꞌɨ́ɨmaj jimi ɨ maj quee tyáꞌtzaahuatyeꞌ, aꞌyaa pu tyeꞌmej jeꞌej tɨ tyéꞌyuꞌsiꞌ ɨ yuꞌxarij jitze aꞌyan tɨjɨn:
7 To you therefore who believe {is} the preciousness; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders cast away as worthless, this is become head of {the} corner,
8 Ajta ɨ tɨ aꞌyan tyáꞌxaj tɨjɨn:
8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offence; {who} stumble at the word, being disobedient to which also they have been appointed.
9 Siajta muaꞌaj xu tyeɨ́tyeeraꞌ puéꞌeen ɨ Dios tɨ huaꞌantyíhuoj, siaj sij jamuán tyuꞌtaꞌíjtaj, siajta séej chuéj japua jáꞌmaꞌcan tɨ naa een, séej xu chájtaꞌnaj puéꞌeen Dios tɨ jitze ajtyámaꞌcan. Aꞌyaa puꞌij tyíꞌeen siaj sij muaꞌaj tyihuoꞌtéꞌexaatyeꞌen aꞌɨ́jna jitze maꞌcan ɨ Dios, ɨ tɨ jamuaatajé siaj sij quee cheꞌ tɨ́caꞌristeꞌ séjreꞌej, sulu siaj sij aꞌáa joꞌtyáꞌɨtzeereꞌen joꞌtɨj tyámuaꞌ naa tyojóꞌnyeeriꞌij.
9 But *ye* {are} a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
10 Jájcuaj ɨmuáj caxu tyeɨ́tyeristyamuaꞌmeꞌen puéꞌeenyeꞌej ɨ Dios, siajta ijíij xu seríj tyeɨ́tyeristyamuaꞌmeꞌen puéꞌeen ɨ Dios, ajta aꞌájna ɨmuáj capu jamuáꞌcuꞌvajcaꞌaj ɨ Dios, ajta ijíij pu arí jamuáꞌcuꞌvej.
10 who once {were} not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.
11 Nyeꞌihuáamuaꞌ mu nyaj jáꞌmuaxɨeꞌveꞌ, aꞌyaa nu tyajaꞌmuahuaviij siaj aꞌyan séjreꞌej matɨꞌɨj aꞌɨ́ɨmaj ɨ maj séej chuéj japua jáꞌmaꞌcan, caxu tyiꞌtáꞌcareꞌen siaj sij jaꞌráꞌastijreꞌen aꞌɨ́jcɨ ɨ tɨ jeꞌej puaꞌaj een, ɨ tɨ ajta jɨn nyoꞌseꞌ ɨ jáꞌmuajuuricamej.
11 Beloved, I exhort {you}, as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 Tyámuaꞌ xuꞌuj aꞌɨ́ɨjma jimi ɨ maj quee tyáꞌtzaahuatyeꞌ. Aꞌyaa mu mij aꞌɨ́ɨmaj tyajaꞌmuaséejran siaj tyámuaꞌ rɨcɨj, tyij majta ijíij jeꞌej puaꞌaj tyajaꞌmuaxaj, aꞌɨ́ɨ mu tyaatatyójtziꞌreꞌej ɨ Dios aꞌájna xɨcáaraꞌ tɨ jitzán néijmiꞌcaa táꞌxɨjtyeꞌen.
12 having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that {as to that} in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through {your} good works, {themselves} witnessing {them}, glorify God in {the} day of visitation.
13 Aꞌɨ́jna jitze maꞌcan ɨ tavástaraꞌ xu huaꞌráꞌastijreꞌen ɨ maj tyiꞌtɨ́j jɨn antyúumuaꞌreej, aꞌɨ́jcɨ ɨ tɨ aꞌɨ́jna jɨn tyiꞌtyéjvee tɨꞌij néijmiꞌi jɨn tyuꞌtaꞌíjtaj, jiꞌnye aꞌɨ́ɨ pu aꞌɨ́ɨn puéꞌeen ɨ tɨ jéetzeꞌ vaꞌcán jɨn tyíꞌhuɨɨreꞌ,

14 tyajta aꞌɨ́ɨjma ɨ tajtúhuaanyij, ɨ maj tyíꞌijta mej mij puéjtzij huoꞌtáꞌan aꞌɨ́ɨjma ɨ maj jeꞌej puaꞌaj tyityetyúuchaꞌɨj, tɨ ajta tzáahuatyiꞌraꞌaj huaꞌ jimi tyíchaꞌɨj ɨ maj tyámuaꞌ rɨcɨj.
14 or to rulers as sent by him, for vengeance on evildoers, and praise to them that do well.
15 Jiꞌnye aꞌyaa pu ɨ Dios tyáꞌxɨeꞌveꞌ siaj tyámuaꞌ tyityetyúuchaꞌɨɨj, mataꞌaj mij quee jeꞌej tyajaꞌmuaxajtaj aꞌɨ́ɨmaj ɨ maj quee maꞌumuámuaꞌreꞌ, majta ɨ maj quee tyiꞌtɨ́j muaꞌreej.
15 Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;
16 Siataꞌaj aꞌyan tyityetyúuchaꞌɨɨj matɨꞌɨj ɨ tyeɨ́tyee ɨ maj juxáahuaj mahuacɨꞌɨj, caxu aꞌɨ́jna jɨn juxáahuaj mahuacɨꞌɨj siaj sij tyiꞌtɨ́j jɨn jeꞌej puaꞌaj huárɨnyij. Tyámuaꞌ xu tyityahuóochaꞌɨɨn, matɨꞌɨj aꞌɨ́ɨmaj ɨ maj jahuɨɨreꞌ ɨ Dios.
16 as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.
17 Siataꞌaj néijmiꞌcaa jimi tzáahuatyiꞌraꞌaj tyíchaꞌɨɨj. Siajta huoꞌxɨéꞌveꞌen ɨ taꞌihuáamuaꞌ ɨ maj majta tyáꞌtzaahuatyeꞌ, siajta jéehua tzáahuatyiꞌraꞌaj jimi tyíchaꞌɨɨj ɨ Dios, siajta aꞌɨ́jcɨ ɨ tajtúhuan ɨ tɨ néijmiꞌi jɨn tyíꞌijta.
17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.
18 Siajta muaꞌaj mu siaj tyíꞌijtyiꞌreꞌ, siahuaꞌráꞌastijreꞌ aꞌɨ́ɨmaj ɨ maj tyajáꞌmuaꞌijtyeꞌ, caxu aꞌɨ́ɨjma sianaꞌaj ɨ maj tyámuaꞌ tyajamuájchaꞌɨj, nusu ɨ maj tyámuaꞌ tyíꞌtyetyeɨtyee, sulu siajta xu aꞌɨ́ɨjma ɨ maj jeꞌej puaꞌaj tyíꞌtyetyeɨtyee.
18 Servants, {be} subject with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the ill-tempered.
19 Jiꞌnye aꞌyaa pu tyaꞌráanajchi ɨ Dios siaj aꞌɨ́jna jɨn tyoꞌtáviicueꞌ ɨ maj puéjtzij jamuatáꞌcaa, aꞌɨ́j xu jɨn néijmiꞌi aꞌyan rɨcɨj jeꞌej tɨ tyíꞌxaꞌpuɨꞌ ɨ Dios jimi.
19 For this {is} acceptable, if one, for conscience sake towards God, endure griefs, suffering unjustly.
20 Jiꞌnye tɨpuaꞌaj muaꞌajmaj puéjtzij majamuaataꞌan aꞌɨ́jna jɨmeꞌ siaj tyiꞌtɨ́j jeꞌej puaꞌaj huarɨ́j, siajta jeꞌen aꞌɨ́jna jɨn tyoꞌtáviicueꞌ, capu jeꞌej tyajamuaatyáhuɨɨreꞌej, ajta tɨpuaꞌaj aꞌɨ́jna jɨn puéjtzij majamuaataꞌan siaj xáꞌpuɨꞌ rɨcɨj, siajta jeꞌen aꞌɨ́jna jɨn tyoꞌtáviicueꞌ, aꞌɨ́ɨ pu jaꞌráanajchi ɨ Dios.
20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
21 Aꞌyaa pu aꞌíjna jɨn tyajamuaatajé ɨ Dios, jiꞌnye ɨ Cɨríistuꞌ pu jaꞌmua jitze maꞌcan jaapuéjtzitariacaꞌ, ajta aꞌɨ́jna aꞌyan tyajáꞌmuaꞌitɨɨj siaj sij aꞌyan chaꞌtaj sianaꞌaj huárɨnyij.
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 Capu ɨ Cɨríistuꞌ tyiꞌtɨ́j jɨn ootyáꞌɨtzee, capu ajta aꞌnáj aꞌtɨ́j huácuanamuaj.
22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
23 Matɨꞌɨj jeꞌej puaꞌaj tyaatajé, capu jeꞌej puaꞌaj tyihuoꞌriáꞌhuaꞌnyijraj, ajta matɨꞌɨj puéjtzij jaatáꞌ, capu huoꞌtányeechej, sulu Dios jimi pu huatóocuꞌvej ɨ tɨ tzáahuatyiꞌraꞌaj jɨn huáꞌxɨjtyeꞌen.
23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
24 Aꞌɨ́ɨ pu tajitzé maꞌcan jaapuéjtzitariacaꞌ ɨ cúruuj jitze, ajta néijmiꞌi tyitacáaꞌriꞌriꞌ ɨ tyaj jɨn áꞌɨtzeeriaꞌcaꞌaj, tyej tyij tyámuaꞌ éenyeꞌej táꞌraꞌnyij. Cɨríistuꞌ pu tyuꞌpuéjtyiꞌhuacaꞌ tyej tyij ityáj néijmiꞌi jɨn tyúꞌhuaatyiꞌhuaj.
24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.
25 Jiꞌnye aꞌyaa xu muaꞌaj aꞌájna ɨmuáj huaséꞌrihuaꞌaj matɨꞌɨj ɨ cányaꞌxɨɨ maj joꞌvátzɨj, ajta ijíij xuꞌríj ɨ Cɨríistuꞌ jitze ajtyámaꞌcan, aꞌɨ́jna ɨ tɨ aꞌyan tyajaꞌmuachaꞌɨj tɨꞌɨj huaꞌ cújtaꞌ tɨ huaméj, tɨ ajta aꞌɨ́jna jɨn antyúumuaꞌreej tɨꞌij jaꞌmua japua huatányuunyij.
25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
