1 Yesu wuɔ cor baa u gbãnɛini‑i wuɔ:
2 «*Diiloŋ-nellentesĩnni dii ŋaa nellentieŋo maŋ jãaŋ ciɛŋo duɔ hã u biɛŋo aa bĩ nuɔmba bɔi.
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 Niiwuoniŋ-huɔŋguŋ juɔ hi, u puɔr u maacembiemba‑i wuɔ ba ka waŋ baa nuɔmba jo.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 Nellentieŋo tiraa puɔr u maacembiemba namba ba wulaa wuɔ: ‹Kãaŋ na ka waŋ baa-ba wuɔ mɛi ciɛra mi hĩyãa bɔi aa ko mi balyunni‑i baa fombayaamba‑i, kɛrɛ ba jo, niiwuoni biɛ tĩ.›
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 Pɔpuɔrbiembaŋ kãa, nuɔmba saa gbuu suɔ dii wuɔ ba waŋ wɛima, ba bɔrɔ hiere kã ba muŋkãmmu: Banamba kã sonniŋ, banamba kã torguoŋ-nu.
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 Banamba bir yaŋ aa bel nellentieŋo maacembiemba‑i muo-ba da dɛi aa ko-ba.
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 Nellentieŋo huɔŋ kaa pãŋ guɔla. Wuɔ ce u sorosibaa-ba kã ka ko kutaamba‑i aa caa ba nelle‑i.
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 «Uŋ ciɛ mafamma‑i, wuɔ waŋ baa u maacembiemba‑i wuɔ: ‹Niiwuoni biɛ tĩ, ŋga miŋ ŋa naa bĩ bamaŋ, ni saa naa waa bafamba niini.
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 Kãaŋ hũŋgbɛsɛnni-na, da na ka da nɛliɛŋo nɛliɛŋo, na ce u jo.›
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 Maacembiemba taa ku yaa nuɔ‑i kã hũŋgbɛsɛnni-na ka bĩ nelbabalaamba‑i baa nelfafaamba‑i hiere ji dii nellentieŋo dũŋgu yu.
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 Wuɔ yuu-yo wuɔ: ‹Mi jĩɛ, naŋ ciɛ niɛ suur bande‑i baa joŋgorgbãŋgbãlãŋo‑i?› Naacolŋo saa da wɛima waŋ.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 Nellentieŋ wuɔ waŋ baa u maacembiemba‑i wuɔ: ‹Bilaaŋ naacolŋ daayo‑i na vaa u nammu‑i baa u gbeini‑i aa na tɛtɛŋ-yo na nanna-yuɔ fuoreŋ dii kukulma-na. Duɔ tĩɛ dii terieŋgu-na, kaaluŋgu siɛ gbuu waa dɛi.›»
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 Yesu wuɔ cira: «Na saa da, ba bĩɛ nuɔmba bɔi, ŋga baŋ fiɛlaa bamaŋ ba saa ciinu.»
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 Yesuŋ piiye dumaaŋo-na, *Farisĩɛbaa baa kã ka da ba-naa baŋ ka ce dumaa cure-yuɔ bel-o fuɔ fɛrɛŋ nuŋ-ãndaaŋgu-na.
15 — ausente —
16 Baŋ juɔ nunu ba-naa tĩ, baa puɔr ba *hãalãbiemba‑i u wulaa baa *Erɔdi baamba namba. Baa kã ka gbɛ̃-yo wuɔ: «Hãalãtie, i suyaa wuɔ ŋ waŋ ninsoŋo yaa‑i; ŋ gbu ŋ pigãaŋ nuɔmba‑i baa Diiloŋ-hũmelle yaa kelkel, ŋ sa kãalã nɛliɛŋo baa ŋ ninsoŋo‑i, ŋ sa bi ce ciɛluɔ.»
16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 Aa naa yuu-yo wuɔ: «A saa baa miɛ hũmelle‑i, ku saaya i tiɛ pã nampo‑i i hã *Oromɛ ba *jãmatigi‑i wɛi?»
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 Yesu wuɔ suɔ ba kusũŋ-maama‑i; wuɔ cira: «Huhurmantaaŋ namaa temma‑i daana‑i, na taara na cure muɔmɛi wɛi?
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 Naŋ pãŋ nampo‑i baa warbieŋa maŋ, hãa-miŋ di diei mi ne.» Baa hã-yo warbelle nande.
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 — ausente —
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 — ausente —
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 Nel daama cu ba hɔmmu‑i, baa naa baa ta aa naa yaŋ-yo.
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 *Sadusĩɛbaa-ba wulaa kuomba siɛ sire. Yinduɔŋgu faŋgu-na, banamba piɛ Yesu‑i a yuu-yo wuɔ:
23 — ausente —
24 «Hãalãtie, *Moisi ciɛra wuɔ umaŋ duɔ saa da biloŋo baa u ciɛŋo‑i aa ku, u hãaŋo saaya u biɛ ciɛŋo‑i a hoŋ biloŋo hã kuloŋo‑i.
24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 u saa da biloŋo baa-yo. Siɛliŋ-wuoŋo‑i maaduɔma. Ba ciɛ dumɛi ka ku gbuo hiere niehãi‑i-na molo saa ji da biloŋo baa ciɛŋ daayo‑i.
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 Ku huoŋgu-na, ciɛ fuɔ fɛrɛ u suɔ tuɔ nyaanu-bɛi.
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 Ba hieroŋo-na, baŋ diyaa-yo ba ciɛŋo cor, kuoŋ da ba ji sire yiiŋgu maŋ nuɔ‑i, u ka ce hai wuoŋo‑i?»
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 Yesu wuɔ cira: «Na piɛra! Na saa suɔ Diiloŋ-nelma‑i, aa na saa bi suɔ u himma‑i.
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 Na saa da, kuoŋ da ba ji sire, cadiile siɛ ji waa, ba ka waa ŋaa *dɔrpɔpuɔrbiemba.»
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.
31 Aa naa cira: «Kumaŋ ŋaa kuomba siremmaŋ-kũŋgu‑i, na saa kalaŋ Diiloŋ-nelma‑i wɛi?
32 U ciɛra wuɔ: ‹*Abiramu Diiloŋo yaa muɔŋo‑i, *Isaki Diiloŋo yaa muɔŋo‑i, *Yakɔbu Diiloŋo yaa muɔŋo‑i.› Ku pigãaŋ wuɔ Diiloŋo‑i cicɛ̃lmantaaŋ-wuoŋo; bikuoŋ-wuoŋo sĩ.»
33 Bamaŋ waa terieŋgu-na nu nel daama‑i maa gbuu suurnu-bɛi.
34 *Farisĩɛbaa-baŋ juɔ nu-ma wuɔ Yesu piiye yar *Sadusĩɛbaa-ba‑i, baa ne ba-naa kã u wulaa
36 «Hãalãtie, Diiloŋ uŋ'a i tiɛ wuɔ hũmieŋa maŋ, hade‑i yuŋgu?»
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 Yesu wuɔ cira: «‹Ŋ saaya ŋ dɔl Itieŋo‑i Diiloŋo‑i baa ŋ huɔŋga‑i hiere, baa ŋ kusũŋgu‑i hiere, baa ŋ ãnjɔguɔma‑i hiere.›
38 Hũmelle fande yaa yuŋgu aa tiraa maar anaŋa‑i hiere.
38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.
39 Hãalĩŋ-diele maŋ nyaanu di-naa baa difande‑i di yaa daade: ‹Ŋ saaya ŋ dɔl ŋ nanolŋo‑i ŋaa niŋ dɔl ŋ fɛrɛ dumaa.›
40 *Moisi hũmieŋa‑i hiere a yuŋgu dii hũmieŋ daaya'i nuɔ‑i a hãi‑i-na baa *Diilopɔpuɔrbiemba nelma‑i hiere.»
42 «Namaa na'a Diiloŋ uŋ pãa nuŋgu‑i wuɔ u ka saaŋ *Koŋkortieŋo maŋ, u ka hoŋ dũŋ haku‑i nuɔ‑i?»
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 Yesu wuɔ cira: «A ma ce niɛ *Diiloŋ-Yalle ce Davidi bĩ-yo u Tieŋo? Ma sĩ Davidi fuɔ fɛrɛ ciɛra wuɔ:
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 ‹Itieŋo gbĩɛ mi Tieŋo‑i wuɔ:
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 Diiloŋ uŋ pãa nuŋgu‑i aa saaŋ Koŋkortieŋo maŋ, Davidi fuɔ fɛrɛ duɔ tuɔ bĩ-yo u Tieŋo, u ce niɛ aa ce u hãayɛ̃lŋo yoŋ?»
