1 Deponde, pois, toda malícia, toda astúcia, fingimentos, invejas e toda espécie de maledicência.
2 Bloh mơhau-duah bĕ ia tơsơu goh-sơc̆ih la Pơnuaĭ Yàng, yơu du anà mơnga pơrpa đih apui, tô gơnừm tơ nư̆n buơl adơi-ai hũ prŏng tơgồ bloh đồ-mă pơnuaĭ anĭt dŏng-pơklàh,
2 as newborn babes desire earnestly the pure mental milk of the word, that by it ye may grow up to salvation,
3 yah buơl adơi-ai hũ tiăm thơu Yàng la jơmàn-siàm.
3 if indeed ye have tasted that the Lord {is} good.

5 yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

6 Because it is contained in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Zion a corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be put to shame.

7 To you therefore who believe {is} the preciousness; but to the disobedient, the stone which the builders cast away as worthless, this is become head of {the} corner,

8 and a stone of stumbling and rock of offence; {who} stumble at the word, being disobedient to which also they have been appointed.

9 But *ye* {are} a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye might set forth the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness to his wonderful light;
10 Dơlhơu thrơi buơl adơi-ai 'buh iơŭ la sa buơl làng, bloh tŭ ni la buơl làng Yàng Pô Lơngì; dơlhơu thrơi 'buh hũ anĭt-rơnăm, bloh tŭ ni hũ anĭt-rơnăm.
10 who once {were} not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.
11 Ơ buơl adơi-ai uơ̆n-rơnăm, buơl adơi-ai yơu mơnih thuai c̆rih, mơnih dò sơdăng, dơlhă pơto-kơkơi buơl adơi-ai păl pleh atàh mư̆ng tơgrơ̆ pơnuaĭ hàm-khiăng gah rùp-phàp drah-rơlo, la pơnuaĭ tămdră-wơ̆ sơ̆ng bơngă-joa.
11 Beloved, I exhort {you}, as strangers and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 Păl hơdiŭ tơpă-siàm tơkrah buơl làng agàh, tô yah buơl guñu hũ đờm bơrlơi-sơdia buơl adơi-ai yơu la du mơnih mơsak-jơhà, hũ 'buh tơgrơ̆ bruă siàm buơl adơi-ai ngă, nư̆n truh hơrơi Yàng c̆uă-rơwăng, buơl guñu rơŭ mơyòm-pơglòng Yàng Pô Lơngì.
12 having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that {as to that} in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may through {your} good works, {themselves} witnessing {them}, glorify God in {the} day of visitation.
13 Kơyoa Yàng, păng-duh bĕ tơgrơ̆ gơnuăr-adăt kơyoa jơi anà mơnih ngă tơbiă, halài sơ̆ng pơtau yơu la mơnih hũ gơnuăr glòng rơlau abih,

14 or to rulers as sent by him, for vengeance on evildoers, and praise to them that do well.
15 Kơyoa hơtai-khiăng Yàng Pô Lơngì la buơl adơi-ai ngă bĕ pơnuaĭ siàm tô kơdrơ̆ kơđơ̆ng kàng du mơnih bơrngư̆l-gơla 'buh tơ̆l pơnuaĭ wờng thơu.
15 Because so is the will of God, that by well-doing ye put to silence the ignorance of senseless men;
16 La du hơlŭn-hơlă Yàng Pô Lơngì, buơl adơi-ai hơdiŭ bĕ yơu du mơnih akŏ-lơhuai tơkai-lơnàng, bloh juơi angui pơnuaĭ akŏ-lơhuai tơkai-lơnàng nư̆n ngă khăn dơrnìng ac̆ĭng du bruă mơsak-jơhà.
16 as free, and not as having liberty as a cloak of malice, but as God's bondmen.
17 C̆ơ prŏng-màng bĕ tơ tơgrơ̆ mơnih, uơ̆n-rơnăm tơ buơl adơi-ai lăm pơnuaĭ păng-tui, duh-huơĭ Yàng Pô Lơngì, c̆ơ prŏng-màng tơ pơtau.
17 Shew honour to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honour the king.
18 Ơ du mơnih la hơlŭn-hơlă, buơl adơi-ai păng-bơbah ngă tui bĕ mơnih pô drơi sơ̆ng abih hơtai-hơtiàn duh-huơĭ, 'buh iơŭ mĭn sơ̆ng du mơnih pô lơnguh-lơngui, siàm hơtai-hơtiàn, bloh kŭng găm sơ̆ng du mơnih pô kơđơ̆ng-mơsak rơi.
18 Servants, {be} subject with all fear to your masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the ill-tempered.
19 Yah kơyoa kràn-thơu Yàng Pô Lơngì bloh buơl adơi-ai păl kŏng-ơnòng pơnuaĭ pơđì-pơđoa gleh-glăr lăm pơnuaĭ 'buh rĭng-tơpă, nư̆n la sa pơnuaĭ lơngai-pơtuah.
19 For this {is} acceptable, if one, for conscience sake towards God, endure griefs, suffering unjustly.
20 Kơyoa yah buơl adơi-ai ngă pơnuaĭ mơsak-jơhà bloh kơđòng aràng glih-pờng sơ̆ng buơl adơi-ai kŏng ă-ư̆n, nư̆n hũ hơgĕ păl yeh-drơi rơi? Bloh yah buơl adơi-ai ngă bruă siàm bloh păl kŏng pơnuaĭ pơđì-pơđoa gleh-glăr, nư̆n la sa pơnuaĭ anĭt tơ anaŭ Yàng Pô Lơngì.
20 For what glory {is it}, if sinning and being buffeted ye shall bear {it}? but if, doing good and suffering, ye shall bear {it}, this is acceptable with God.
21 Buơl adơi-ai hũ iơu rơwah tô hơdiŭ yơu nư̆n. Kơyoa Pô Krist kŭng hũ kŏng pơđì-pơđoa gleh-glăr tơ buơl adơi-ai, luơi wơ̆ tơ buơl adơi-ai sa krơh sơrdah, tô buơl adơi-ai đòm tui nàl tơkai Pô.
21 For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
22 “Pô 'buh tŭ lơi ngă glài sŭng,
22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth;
23 Tŭ kơđòng pơc̆ĕ-pơtrah, Pô 'buh pơc̆ĕ-pơtrah wơ̆; tŭ kŏng pơđì-pơđoa gleh-glăr, Pô 'buh khơ̆m-pơhuơĭ, bloh kừ jào rùp-phŭn drơi tơ Pô c̆ahrơña rĭng-tơpă.
23 who, {when} reviled, reviled not again; {when} suffering, threatened not; but gave {himself} over into the hands of him who judges righteously;
24 Pô gui-anòng glài-sơnoh buơl gudrơi lăm rùp-phàp Pô tơ ngŏ kơyơu pơkăl, tô buơl gudrơi mơtai sơ̆ng gah glài-sơnoh bloh hơdiŭ tơ pơnuaĭ rĭng-tơpă. Gơnừm tơ du nàm-lơka Pô kŏng bloh buơl adơi-ai hũ pơsồ-pơsaih.
24 who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, in order that, being dead to sins, we may live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye have been healed.
25 Kơyoa buơl adơi-ai mơhiơ̆ yơu abo nau asŭ ơ-nrah, bloh ni hũ gài mơrai wơ̆ sơ̆ng Pô Glăng Abo, Pô c̆ơ-gàr bơngă-joa buơl adơi-ai.
25 For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.
