1 Yesu akagombeka nao vituhu wada wantu kwa misimo.
1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:
2 “Useuta wa uwanga kwa Muungu waigana na zumbe yumwe mwekumgosoeya mwanawe ntafuno ya ndoza.
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 Akawaagiiya wandima na kuwetanga wekugonekwao weze kwe ndoza, iya wekugonekwao khawakukunda kweza.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 Naho akawaagiiya wandima vituhu wawambe wada wekugonekwao, ‘Isasa ntafuno iikwa kae khande. Na nyama za njeku na wesao kudahaa vitana kia kintu kiikwa kae!’
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 Iya wowo khawekupatiiza, wakahauka, yumwe kaita tanga kwakwe na mtuhu kwe biashaa zakwe,
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 na watuhu wakawagwiiya wakawatoa na kuwakoma.
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.
7 Yuda Seuta akakimwa, akawaagiiya maasikai wakwe wakawadagamize wada wakomaji na kuubananga mzi wao kwa moto.
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8 Aho akawamba wandima wakwe, ‘Ntafuno ya ndoza itayali, iya wekugonekwao wakaemea kweza.
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
9 Hitani mwe baabaa na wowose wendao muwabwiiye wetangani weze kwe ndoza,’
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
10 wada wandima wakalawa na kuita mwe baabaa, wakawaika hamwe wantu wose, wafyaimi na wedi. Nyumba ya ndoza ikamema wageni.
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 “Seuta ekwengiaho kuwakauwa wageni akamwona mntu yumwe ambae khekuvaa gwanda da ndoza.
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 Seuta akamuuza, ‘Mmbuya, kwengia viivihi uku khuna gwanda da ndoza?’ Yuda mntu khekuwa na dakugombeka.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 Ahoaho Seuta akawamba wandima, ‘Mzengetezeni sigi za mwe miundi na mwe mikono mkamwase chongoi kwe kiza, uko endaaiye na kuuma meno.’ ”
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 Yesu akabindiizia kwa kugombeka, “Wantu wekwetangwao ni wangi, iya wekusagulwao niwacheche.”
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
15 Nee Mafalisayo wakahauka na kuita sia ya kuteganya wendavyo wamgwiye Yesu kwa ntamwiizi zakwe.

16 Aho wakawaagiiya wahina wao hamwe na wahina wa kizumwezumwe cha Mahelode. Wakamuuza, “Mhinyi, tamanya wee ni mntu yedi na wahinya sia ya Muungu ya wantu kugosoa yekuwayo yedi, khumwogoha mntu yoyose kwamana ya ukuu wakwe na ukuu wakwe kwako khio kintu.
16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
17 Haya tambie wee waona viivihi? Ni vyedi kumuiha ushuu kwa seuta mkuu wa Lumi hambu tisekumuiha?”
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
18 Yesu akamanya nteganyi zao za ufyaimi akawagombeka, “Nywie ni wahokho, kwambwai mwanigeeza kwa kunihega?
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
19 Nionyeshani iyo sensi iihayo ushuu.” Nawo wakamwekha sensi mwenga.
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
20 Ahoaho, Yesu akamuuza, “Cheni na magondo aya ni ya ndai?”
20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?
21 Wakatambaisa, “Ni seuta mkuu wa lumi.” Aho Yesu akawamba, “Ya seuta mkuu wa lumi mwekheni seuta mkuu wa lumi na ya Muungu mwekheni Muungu.”
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
22 Wekusikiavyo ivyo nee wahondomaa, wakambada wakaita.
22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.
23 Msi uwouwo wamwe wa Masadukayo wagombekao wekufao khawayuyuka vituhu wakamtimia Yesu.

24 Na kumwamba, “Mhinyi, Musa kagombeka mntu inga akategua na akauya na nyuma na khekubada mwana, yakundigwa nduguye amtegue uyo mvyee mwekufiiwa ni mgosi, ili ampatie wana.
24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 Hanu hetu nee kuwa na wandugu mfungate. Wabosi kategua nee auya na nyuma na khekujaiwa mwana, akadoigwa ni nduguye uyo mvyee mwekufiiwa ni mgosi.
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 Vikagosoka ivyoivyo kwa ndugu wakaidi na wantatu, adi wose mfungate.
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 Bada ya ndugu ao wose kuuya na nyuma na yuda mvyee nae akauya na nyuma.
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 Wendaho ubue uwo msi wa uyuyuko wendaho wayuyuke mvyee uyo endaawe ni mkaza ndai wamwe wa wada wandugu mfungate? Kwaviya wose mfungate nee wamtegua.”
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 Yesu akawatambaisa, “Nywie mwaga kwaajii khammanya Maandiko ya Muungu wala udaho wa Muungu.
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 Kisingi wantu wendaho wayuyuke khawana wategulwe wala kutegua, iya wendawawe inga wandima wa uwanga kwa Muungu.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.
31 Iya kwa ida mbui ya wantu kuyuyuka tambe khamzati kusoma yada ekuwagombekayo Muungu?
31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:
32 ‘Miye ni Muungu wa Iblahimu na Muungu wa Isaka na Muungu wa Yakobo!’ Yee khie Muungu wa wekuuyao na nyuma, iya ni Muungu waugima.”
32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.
33 Yada mazumwezumwe ya wantu yekutegeezaho mahinyo yakwe wakahondomazwa muno.
33 E, ouvindo esta doutrina, as turbas se enchiam de grande admiração.
34 Mafalisayo wekusikiaho kuwa Yesu kawatwiiza Masadukayo, na wakakintana hamwe.
34 Sabendo os fariseus que Jesus reduzira ao silêncio os saduceus, reuniram-se
35 Yumwe wa Mafalisayo ambae amanya miko, akamuuza Yesu kwa kumgeeza.
35 e um deles, doutor da lei, fez-lhe esta pergunta para pô-lo à prova:
36 “Mhinyi mwe miko ni amli ihi yekuwayo khuu?”
36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?
37 Yesu akamtambaisa, “ ‘Mkundise Zumbe Muungu yako kwa moyo wako wose na muye wako wose na kwa akii zako zose.’
37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.
38 Inu nee amli khuu na ya bosi.
38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.
39 Yakaidi yaigana na inu, ‘Mkundise mntu yoyose inga wekundisavyo wee mwenye.’
39 E o segundo, semelhante a este, é: Amarás teu próximo como a ti mesmo {Lv 19,18}.
40 Miko yose ya Musa na mahinyizo ya Waoni zizengwa na amli izi mbii.”
40 Nesses dois mandamentos se resumem toda a lei e os profetas.
41 Kisingi Mafalisayo wekukintanaho hamwe, Yesu akawauza.
41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:
42 “Nywie mwaona viivihi kuusu klistu mwohozi? Yee ni mwana wa ndai?”
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 Yesu akawauza, “Yadahika viivihi Daudi akaongweewa na Muye wa Muungu amwetange Klistu ni ‘Zumbe?’ Kwaviya kagombeka,
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 ‘Zumbe kamwamba Zumbe yangu,
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 Akawa Daudi amwetanga Klistu ‘Zumbe’, yadahika viivihi Daudi kuwa mwanawe?”
45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?
46 Khahana mntu yoyose mwekudaha kumtambaisa Yesu mbui iyo, na kuvokea msi uwo khahana mwekudaha kugeeza kumuuza vituhu dodose.
46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
