The Book of Mormon (BOM) vs BKJ
1 [Revelation given through Joseph Smith the Prophet to his brother Hyrum Smith, at Harmony, Pennsylvania, May 1829. HC 1: 39-46. This revelation was received through the Urim and Thummim in answer to Joseph's supplication and inquiry. "History of the Church" suggests that this revelation was received after the restoration of the Aaronic Priesthood.] A GREAT and marvelous work is about to come forth among the children of men.
1 E os governantes do povo habitaram em Jerusalém; o restante do povo também lançou sorte, para tirar um de dez para habitar em Jerusalém, a cidade santa, e nove partes para habitar em outras cidades.
2 Behold, I am God; give heed to my word, which is quick and powerful, sharper than a two-edged sword, to the dividing asunder of both joints and marrow; therefore give heed unto my word.
2 E o povo abençoou todos os homens que, voluntariamente, ofereceram-se para habitar em Jerusalém.
3 Behold, the field is white already to harvest; therefore, whoso desireth to reap let him thrust in his sickle with his might, and reap while the day lasts, that he may treasure up for his soul everlasting salvation in the kingdom of God.
3 Ora, estes são os chefes da província que habitaram em Jerusalém; porém nas cidades de Judá habitou cada um na sua possessão, nas suas cidades, a saber, Israel, os sacerdotes, e os levitas, e os netineus, e os filhos dos servos de Salomão.
4 Yea, whosoever will thrust in his sickle and reap, the same is called of God.
4 E, em Jerusalém, habitaram alguns dos filhos de Judá, e dos filhos de Benjamim. Dos filhos de Judá: Ataías, o filho de Uzias, o filho de Zacarias, o filho de Amarias, o filho de Sefatias, o filho de Maalalel, dos filhos de Perez;
5 Therefore, if you will ask of me you shall receive; if you will knock it shall be opened unto you.
5 e Maaseias, o filho de Baruque, o filho de Col-Hozé, o filho de Hazaías, o filho de Adaías, o filho de Joiaribe, o filho de Zacarias, o filho do silonita.
6 Now, as you have asked, behold, I say unto you, keep my commandments, and seek to bring forth and establish the cause of Zion.
6 Todos os filhos de Perez que habitaram em Jerusalém foram, quatrocentos e sessenta e oito homens valentes.
7 Seek not for riches but for wisdom; and, behold, the mysteries of God shall be unfolded unto you, and then shall you be made rich. Behold, he that hath eternal life is rich.
7 E estes são os filhos de Benjamim: Salu, o filho de Mesulão, o filho de Joede, o filho de Pedaías, o filho de Colaías, o filho de Maaseias, o filho de Itiel, o filho de Jesaías.
8 Verily, verily, I say unto you, even as you desire of me so it shall be done unto you; and, if you desire, you shall be the means of doing much good in this generation.
8 E depois dele Gabai e Salai, novecentos e vinte e oito.
9 Say nothing but repentance unto this generation. Keep my commandments, and assist to bring forth my work, according to my commandments, and you shall be blessed.
9 E Joel, o filho de Zicri, foi o seu supervisor; e Judá, o filho de Senua foi o segundo sobre a cidade.
10 Behold, thou hast a gift, or thou shalt have a gift if thou wilt desire of me in faith, with an honest heart, believing in the power of Jesus Christ, or in my power which speaketh unto thee;
10 Dos sacerdotes: Jedaías, filho de Joiaribe, Jaquim.
11 For, behold, it is I that speak; behold, I am the light which shineth in darkness, and by my power I give these words unto thee.
11 Seraías, o filho de Hilquias, o filho de Mesulão, o filho de Zadoque, o filho de Meraiote, o filho de Aitube, foi o governante da casa de Deus.
12 And now, verily, verily, I say unto thee, put your trust in that Spirit which leadeth to do good-yea, to do justly, to walk humbly, to judge righteously; and this is my Spirit.
12 E os seus irmãos que faziam a obra da casa, foram oitocentos e vinte e dois; e Adaías, o filho de Jeroão, o filho de Pelalias, o filho de Anzi, o filho de Zacarias, o filho de Pasur, o filho de Malquias,
13 Verily, verily, I say unto you, I will impart unto you of my Spirit, which shall enlighten your mind, which shall fill your soul with joy;
13 e seus irmãos, chefes de famílias, duzentos e quarenta e dois; e Amasai, o filho de Azarel, o filho de Azai, o filho de Mesilemote, o filho de Imer,
14 And then shall ye know, or by this shall you know, all things whatsoever you desire of me, which are pertaining unto things of righteousness, in faith believing in me that you shall receive.
14 e os seus irmãos, homens fortes e valentes, cento e vinte e oito; e o seu supervisor foi Zabdiel, o filho de um dos grandes homens.
15 Behold, I command you that you need not suppose that you are called to preach until you are called.
15 Também dos levitas: Semaías, o filho de Hassube, o filho de Azricão, o filho de Hasabias, o filho de Buni;
16 Wait a little longer, until you shall have my word, my rock, my church, and my gospel, that you may know of a surety my doctrine.
16 e Sabetai e Jozabade, dos chefes dos levitas, tinham a supervisão dos negócios externos da casa de Deus.
17 And then, behold, according to your desires, yea, even according to your faith shall it be done unto you.
17 E Matanias, o filho de Mica, o filho de Zabdi, o filho de Asafe, o chefe, que iniciava as ações de graças na oração; e Baquebuquias, o segundo entre os seus irmãos, e Abda, o filho de Samua, o filho de Galal, o filho de Jedutum.
18 Keep my commandments; hold your peace; appeal unto my Spirit;
18 Todos os levitas na cidade santa eram duzentos e oitenta e quatro.
19 Yea, cleave unto me with all your heart, that you may assist in bringing to light those things of which has been spoken-yea, the translation of my work; be patient until you shall accomplish it.
19 Além disso, os porteiros, Acube, Talmom, e os seus irmãos que guardavam os portões, eram cento e setenta e dois.
20 Behold, this is your work, to keep my commandments, yea, with all your might, mind and strength.
20 E os restantes de Israel, dos sacerdotes, e dos levitas, estavam em todas as cidades de Judá, cada um na sua herança.
21 Seek not to declare my word, but first seek to obtain my word, and then shall your tongue be loosed; then, if you desire, you shall have my Spirit and my word, yea, the power of God unto the convincing of men.
21 Porém, os netineus habitavam em Ofel; e Zia e Gispa estavam sobre os netineus.
22 But now hold your peace; study my word which hath gone forth among the children of men, and also study my word which shall come forth among the children of men, or that which is now translating, yea, until you have obtained all which I shall grant unto the children of men in this generation, and then shall all things be added thereto.
22 Também o supervisor dos levitas em Jerusalém era Uzi, o filho de Bani, o filho de Hasabias, o filho de Matanias, o filho de Mica. Dos filhos de Asafe, os cantores estavam sobre os negócios da casa de Deus.
23 Behold thou art Hyrum, my son; seek the kingdom of God, and all things shall be added according to that which is just.
23 Porque havia um mandamento do rei acerca deles, que uma certa porção deveria ser para os cantores, cada qual no seu dia.
24 Build upon my rock, which is my gospel;
24 E Petaías, o filho de Mesezabel, dos filhos de Zerá, o filho de Judá, estava à mão do rei em todas as questões concernentes ao povo.
25 Deny not the spirit of revelation, nor the spirit of prophecy, for wo unto him that denieth these things;
25 E quanto ás aldeias, com os seus campos, alguns dos filhos de Judá habitaram em Quiriate-Arba, e nas suas aldeias, e em Dibom, e nas suas aldeias, e em Jecabzeel, e nas suas aldeias,
26 Therefore, treasure up in your heart until the time which is in my wisdom that you shall go forth.
26 e em Jesuá, e em Molada, e em Bete-Palete,
27 Behold, I speak unto all who have good desires, and have thrust in their sickle to reap.
27 e em Hasar-Sual, e em Berseba, e nas suas aldeias,
28 Behold, I am Jesus Christ, the Son of God. I am the life and the light of the world.
28 e em Ziclague, e em Mecona, e nas suas aldeias,
29 I am the same who came unto mine own and mine own received me not;
29 e em En-Rimom, e em Zorá, e em Jarmute.
30 But verily, verily, I say unto you, that as many as receive me, to them will I give power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on my name. Amen.
30 em Zanoa, Adulão e nas suas aldeias; em Laquis e nos seus campos; em Azeca e nas suas aldeias. E eles habitaram desde Berseba até o vale de Hinom.

36 E dos levitas estavam divisões em Judá e em Benjamim.
