4 but the hidden man of the heart, in the incorruptible {ornament} of a meek and quiet spirit, which in the sight of God is of great price.

7 {Ye} husbands likewise, dwell with {them} according to knowledge, as with a weaker, {even} the female, vessel, giving {them} honour, as also fellow-heirs of {the} grace of life, that your prayers be not hindered.

Arâ ise “Xuduze urâ” kehobyry mâenmakelymo.
9 not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing; but on the contrary, blessing {others}, because ye have been called to this, that ye should inherit blessing.
10 Warâ Salmos wâgâ, Deus itaumbyry iwenibyem awyly:
10 For he that will love life and see good days, let him cause his tongue to cease from evil and his lips that they speak no guile.

11 And let him avoid evil, and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it;

12 because {the} eyes of {the} Lord {are} on {the} righteous, and his ears towards their supplications; but {the} face of {the} Lord {is} against them that do evil.

13 And who shall injure you if ye have become imitators of that which {is} good?

14 E até sereis felizes, se padecerdes alguma coisa por causa da justiça!
15 Toenzepa Cristo xyrentaungâ. Amânhetomoem aguehobyry aietaungâ, mâkâ mawânkâ âwymârymo kuru. “Âdaituoka Jesus mâinwândylymo? Âdaituoka, ‘Âigueduomo, Deusram ise mydâlymo’ kely mâinwândylymo?” keim, mâin-hoguhomoem âturudybyem lelâ itaungâ.
15 Portanto, não temais as suas ameaças e não vos turbeis. Antes santificai em vossos corações Cristo, o Senhor. Estai sempre prontos a responder para vossa defesa a todo aquele que vos pedir a razão de vossa esperança, mas fazei-o com suavidade e respeito.

16 Tende uma consciência reta a fim de que, mesmo naquilo em que dizem mal de vós, sejam confundidos os que desacreditam o vosso santo procedimento em Cristo.
17 Deuslâ mâsenagazedyze donromo watay, koendonro amânhedylymoguelâ mâsenagazedylymo nidâ, inakanhe amidylymo wâgâ inkâba.
17 Aliás, é melhor padecer, se Deus assim o quiser, por fazer o bem do que por fazer o mal.
18 Tyiguely ume, Cristo âsenagazemâ lâpylâ. Inakanhe aguitobyry xygakeze akâwâm mâkâ iguely. Tokalelâ olâ iguewâm; niguezesebyra. Mâkâ inakanhe aitânry iguely akâwâm inakanhe aini modo xurâem, tâinwânni tunwynram tiantoem. Kruz wâgâ sodo adakâjioly iguehoem; Deus Ispiritury olâ Jesus kurâem ietomâ.
18 Pois também Cristo morreu uma vez pelos nossos pecados - o Justo pelos injustos - para nos conduzir a Deus. Padeceu a morte em sua carne, mas foi vivificado quanto ao espírito.

20 quando Deus aguardava com paciência, enquanto se edificava a arca, na qual poucas pessoas, isto é, apenas oito se salvaram através da água.

21 Esta água prefigurava o batismo de agora, que vos salva também a vós, não pela purificação das impurezas do corpo, mas pela que consiste em pedir a Deus uma consciência boa, pela ressurreição de Jesus Cristo.
22 Kayam Deus eydâ atoram todopâze akâwâm mâkâ. Iwerâ Deus eapay eahoru eynynâ ekadybyem awyly, pymâem, idânârâ anju domodo, ton-honruneim modo warâ iwymâryem.
22 Esse Jesus Cristo, tendo subido ao céu, está assentado à direita de Deus, depois de ter recebido a submissão dos anjos, dos principados e das potestades.
