1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:
2 “Godna bog megam enaig eseg, misog elni leg angwafig aflaba asa misog el kwania bu yis ofen.
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 Afa ehe elim sihinig og, ma ambe fane ahagai. Maia enena osu pugunaba asa heafna gafugag elim ningitigina og afu enaig elim sihigon, sa ma ambe. Afa el oksi ni ka mas ambe.
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
4 Afa pese minanag gafugag elim ningitigina og, ‘Elim afu sihigon ati ka faneba numwehiage fwahag. Ati ka kwania bulmakau lambag kwagig. Mungwali ati gohug asa ambe ena bu yis ahaga.’
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
5 Afa maia sihigonibi mas higini mo eheba heafna gafugag la ahkawag minefena. Ming el mo heafna aso gam ikana afa ming mo heafna ming gafugag la ikana.
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
6 Afa mingnag mo misog elni gafugag elim kikegonuginim kwaskofini.
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.

7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.

8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;

9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.

10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
11 “Afa misog el sefu ikana nangwagna. Afa nangunaba el mungu mas bu yis la lofug yimieg fatina mo.
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
12 Afa sahana, ‘Hihe, haisegba ne seaifug afa ne mas yimieg lofug fatig mo.’ Afa ehe malfwai gofena.
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
13 Afa misog el gafugag elim sihini og, ‘Ningam mungum wena kikenaginim afa afwambagam sikigieg megam fli fati. Asa ma enanai yi, el wewatinam heafgelni gog tuto ahgafife.’”
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
14 Sisas mo sihi afwaha fenaba og, “God kaksag elim unenigim afa mungu mungu elim kanog fwatig.”
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.

16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;

17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?

18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?

19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.

20 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?

21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.

22 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.

24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
25 Afa autunam elegeg la gohug nilite ka afwaihiafena. Eteg angwafig flana maia lahanaba luwal fwainig. Asa esig angwafig agafena.
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
26 Afa ehem angigieg flana afa ehem gafa luwal fwainig lahana. Asa gwenai pigifeakan sumineg atamolug nai yi puguna,
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
27 afa sumi yi enag angwafigim gafa lahana.
27 And last of all the woman also died.
28 Afa autunai la maia enanam melig pigieg buihiagafeba asa ehe amban na angwag fefe afa mungwa nilitena enag angwafig mungu flini?”
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
29 Asa Sisas wahigi sihini og, “Godna buk i afa heafna kigmog i ne mas anwenafig mo asa ne etetiagig.
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
30 Afa maia enanam melig pigieg buihiagafenam mas angwafig lambi eba ehe Godna oflanai el lofifi.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.

31 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:
32 ‘Kaba Abraham, Aisak, Jekop na God.’ Eba mango melig pigig elni God mo, eba heafa nofkena elni God.”
32 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.

36 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?

37 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.

38 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.

39 E o segundo, semelhante a este, é: Amarás teu próximo como a ti mesmo {Lv 19,18}.

40 Nesses dois mandamentos se resumem toda a lei e os profetas.

41 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:
42 “Elbi sonaba God ati Gisfu fwahag elim pese lambigim, enaba ambana simbianinga?” Afa ehengel wahigi sihini, “Eba Devitna simbianinga.”
42 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!
43 Afa Sisas sahini og, “Haiseg nasa Godna Sungwabug Devitim olug onigi la fainaba asa Devit ehena unehlagim seaflana, Ainiyag. Devit enaig esona og;
43 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:
44 — ausente —
44 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?
45 “Afa Devit ehem seaflana, Ainiyag. Haisegba enag ehe Devitna simbianinga?”
45 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?
46 Mas amban pese sihina mo afa enag osuna ikan hefum lahafe ehem sahnigim embefini.
46 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.
