1 To the Overseer, `Concerning the Inheritances.` -- A Psalm of David. My sayings hear, O Jehovah, Consider my meditation.
1 Dá ouvidos às minhas palavras, ó Senhor ; atende à minha meditação.
2 Be attentive to the voice of my cry, My king and my God, For unto Thee I pray habitually.
2 Atende à voz do meu clamor, Rei meu e Deus meu, pois a ti orarei.
3 Jehovah, [at] morning Thou hearest my voice, [At] morning I set in array for Thee, And I look out.
3 Pela manhã, ouvirás a minha voz, ó Senhor ; pela manhã, me apresentarei a ti, e vigiarei.
4 For not a God desiring wickedness [art] Thou, Evil inhabiteth Thee not.
4 Porque tu não és um Deus que tenha prazer na iniquidade, nem contigo habitará o mal.
5 The boastful station not themselves before Thine eyes: Thou hast hated all working iniquity.
5 Os loucos não pararão à tua vista; aborreces a todos os que praticam a maldade.
6 Thou destroyest those speaking lies, A man of blood and deceit Jehovah doth abominate.
6 Destruirás aqueles que proferem a mentira; o Senhor aborrecerá o homem sanguinário e fraudulento.
7 And I, in the abundance of Thy kindness, I enter Thy house, I bow myself toward Thy holy temple in Thy fear.
7 Mas eu entrarei em tua casa pela grandeza da tua benignidade; e em teu temor me inclinarei para o teu santo templo.
8 O Jehovah, lead me in Thy righteousness, Because of those observing me, Make straight before me Thy way,
8 Senhor , guia-me na tua justiça, por causa dos meus inimigos; aplana diante de mim o teu caminho.
9 For there is no stability in their mouth. Their heart [is] mischiefs, An open grave [is] their throat, Their tongue they make smooth.
9 Porque não há retidão na boca deles; o seu íntimo são verdadeiras maldades; a sua garganta é um sepulcro aberto; lisonjeiam com a sua língua.
10 Declare them guilty, O God, Let them fall from their own counsels, In the abundance of their transgressions Drive them away, Because they have rebelled against Thee.
10 Declara-os culpados, ó Deus; caiam por seus próprios conselhos; lança-os fora por causa da multidão de suas transgressões, pois se revoltaram contra ti.
11 And rejoice do all trusting in Thee, To the age they sing, and Thou coverest them over, And those loving Thy name exult in Thee.
11 Mas alegrem-se todos os que confiam em ti; exultem eternamente, porquanto tu os defendes; e em ti se gloriem os que amam o teu nome.
12 For Thou blessest the righteous, O Jehovah, As a buckler with favour dost compass him!
12 Pois tu, Senhor , abençoarás ao justo; circundá-lo-ás da tua benevolência como de um escudo.
