1 A Psalm of David. Ascribe to Jehovah, ye sons of the mighty, Ascribe to Jehovah honour and strength.
1 Atribuam ao Senhor, ó seres celestiais, atribuam ao Senhor glória e força.
2 Ascribe to Jehovah the honour of His name, Bow yourselves to Jehovah, In the beauty of holiness.
2 Atribuam ao Senhor a glória que o seu nome merece; adorem o Senhor no esplendor do seu santuário.
3 The voice of Jehovah [is] on the waters, The God of glory hath thundered, Jehovah [is] on many waters.
3 A voz do Senhor ressoa sobre as águas; o Deus da glória troveja, o Senhor troveja sobre as muitas águas.
4 The voice of Jehovah [is] with power, The voice of Jehovah [is] with majesty,
4 A voz do Senhor é poderosa; a voz do Senhor é majestosa.
5 The voice of Jehovah [is] shivering cedars, Yea, Jehovah shivers the cedars of Lebanon.
5 A voz do Senhor quebra os cedros; o Senhor despedaça os cedros do Líbano.
6 And He causeth them to skip as a calf, Lebanon and Sirion as a son of Reems,
6 Ele faz o Líbano saltar como bezerro, o Siriom como novilho selvagem.
7 The voice of Jehovah is hewing fiery flames,
7 A voz do Senhor corta os céus com raios flamejantes.
8 The voice of Jehovah paineth a wilderness, Jehovah paineth the wilderness of Kadesh.
8 A voz do Senhor faz tremer o deserto; o Senhor faz tremer o deserto de Cades.
9 The voice of Jehovah paineth the oaks, And maketh bare the forests, And in His temple every one saith, `Glory.`
9 A voz do Senhor retorce os carvalhos e despe as florestas. E no seu templo todos clamam: "Glória! "
10 Jehovah on the deluge hath sat, And Jehovah sitteth king -- to the age,
10 O Senhor assentou-se soberano sobre o dilúvio; o Senhor reina soberano para sempre.
11 Jehovah strength to his people giveth, Jehovah blesseth His people with peace!
11 O Senhor dá força ao seu povo; o Senhor dá a seu povo a bênção da paz.
