1 A Psalm of David. Ascribe to Jehovah, ye sons of the mighty, Ascribe to Jehovah honour and strength.
1 Dai ao Senhor , ó filhos dos poderosos, dai ao Senhor glória e força.
2 Ascribe to Jehovah the honour of His name, Bow yourselves to Jehovah, In the beauty of holiness.
2 Dai ao Senhor a glória devida ao seu nome; adorai o Senhor na beleza da sua santidade.
3 The voice of Jehovah [is] on the waters, The God of glory hath thundered, Jehovah [is] on many waters.
3 A voz do Senhor ouve-se sobre as águas; o Deus da glória troveja; o Senhor está sobre as muitas águas.
4 The voice of Jehovah [is] with power, The voice of Jehovah [is] with majesty,
4 A voz do Senhor é poderosa; a voz do Senhor é cheia de majestade.
5 The voice of Jehovah [is] shivering cedars, Yea, Jehovah shivers the cedars of Lebanon.
5 A voz do Senhor quebra os cedros; sim, o Senhor quebra os cedros do Líbano.
6 And He causeth them to skip as a calf, Lebanon and Sirion as a son of Reems,
6 Ele os faz saltar como a um bezerro; ao Líbano e Siriom, como novos unicórnios.
7 The voice of Jehovah is hewing fiery flames,
7 A voz do Senhor separa as labaredas do fogo.
8 The voice of Jehovah paineth a wilderness, Jehovah paineth the wilderness of Kadesh.
8 A voz do Senhor faz tremer o deserto; o Senhor faz tremer o deserto de Cades.
9 The voice of Jehovah paineth the oaks, And maketh bare the forests, And in His temple every one saith, `Glory.`
9 A voz do Senhor faz parir as cervas e desnuda as brenhas. E no seu templo cada um diz: Glória!
10 Jehovah on the deluge hath sat, And Jehovah sitteth king -- to the age,
10 O Senhor se assentou sobre o dilúvio; o Senhor se assenta como Rei perpetuamente.
11 Jehovah strength to his people giveth, Jehovah blesseth His people with peace!
11 O Senhor dará força ao seu povo; o Senhor abençoará o seu povo com paz.
