1 And the lot for the tribe of the sons of Judah, for their families, is unto the border of Edom; the wilderness of Zin southward, at the extremity of the south;
1 A sorte que coube à tribo dos filhos de Judá, segundo as suas famílias, foi até ao termo de Edom, o deserto de Zim, para o sul, na extremidade do lado meridional.
2 and to them the south border is at the extremity of the salt sea, from the bay which is looking southward;
2 E foi o seu termo para o sul, desde a extremidade do Mar Salgado, desde a baía que olha para o sul;
3 and it hath gone out unto the south to Maaleh-Akrabbim, and passed over to Zin, and gone up on the south to Kadesh-Barnea, and passed over [to] Hezron, and gone up to Adar, and turned round to Karkaa,
3 E sai para o sul, até à subida de Acrabim, e passa a Zim, e sobe do sul a Cades-Barnéia, e passa por Hezrom, e sobe a Adar, e vira para Carca;
4 and passed over [to] Azmon, and gone out [at] the brook of Egypt, and the outgoings of the border have been at the sea; this is to you the south border.
4 E passa Azmom, e sai ao ribeiro do Egito, e as saídas deste termo vão até ao mar; este será o vosso termo do lado do sul.
5 And the east border [is] the salt sea, unto the extremity of the Jordan, and the border at the north quarter [is] from the bay of the sea, at the extremity of the Jordan;
5 O termo, porém, para o oriente será o Mar Salgado, até à foz do Jordão; e o termo para o norte será da baía do mar, desde a foz do Jordão.
6 and the border hath gone up [to] Beth-Hoglah, and passed over on the north of Beth-Arabah, and the border hath gone up [to] the stone of Bohan son of Reuben:
6 E este termo subirá até Bete-Hogla, e passará do norte a Bete-Arabá, e este termo subirá até à pedra de Boã, filho de Rúben.
7 and the border hath gone up towards Debir from the valley of Achor, and northward looking unto Gilgal, which [is] over-against the ascent of Adummim, which [is] on the south of the brook, and the border hath passed over unto the waters of En-Shemesh, and its outgoings have been unto En-Rogel;
7 Subirá mais este termo a Debir desde o vale de Acor, indo para o norte rumo a Gilgal, a qual está em frente da subida de Adumim, que está para o sul do ribeiro; então este termo continua até às águas de En-Semes; e as suas saídas estão do lado de En-Rogel.
8 and the border hath gone up the valley of the son of Hinnom, unto the side of the Jebusite on the south (it [is] Jerusalem), and the border hath gone up unto the top of the hill-country which [is] on the front of the valley of Hinnom westward, which [is] in the extremity of the valley of the Rephaim northward;
8 E este termo sobe pelo vale do filho de Hinom, do lado sul dos jebuseus (esta é Jerusalém) e sobe este termo até ao cume do monte que está diante do vale de Hinom para o ocidente, que está no fim do vale dos refains do lado do norte.
9 and the border hath been marked out, from the top of the hill-country unto the fountain of the waters of Nephtoah, and hath gone out unto the cities of mount Ephron, and the border hath been marked out [to] Baalah, (it [is] Kirjath-Jearim);
9 Então este termo vai desde a altura do monte até à fonte das águas de Neftoa; e sai até às cidades do monte de Efrom; vai mais este termo até Baalá (esta é Quiriate-Jearim).
10 and the border hath gone round from Baalah westward, unto mount Seir, and passed over unto the side of mount Jearim (it [is] Chesalon), on the north, and gone down [to] Beth-Shemesh, and passed over to Timnah;
10 Então volta este termo desde Baalá para o ocidente, até às montanhas de Seir, e passa ao lado do monte de Jearim do lado do norte (esta é Quesalom) e desce a Bete-Semes, e passa por Timna;
11 and the border hath gone out unto the side of Ekron northward, and the border hath been marked out [to] Shicron, and hath passed over to mount Baalah, and gone out [to] Jabneel; and the outgoings of the border have been at the sea.
11 Sai este termo mais ao lado de Ecrom, para o norte, e este termo vai a Sicrom e passa o monte de Baalá, e sai em Jabneel; e assim este termo finda no mar.
12 And the west border [is] to the great sea, and [its] border; this [is] the border of the sons of Judah round about for their families.
12 Será, porém, o termo do lado do ocidente o Mar Grande, e suas adjacências; este é o termo dos filhos de Judá ao redor, segundo as suas famílias.
13 And to Caleb son of Jephunneh hath he given a portion in the midst of the sons of Judah, according to the command of Jehovah to Joshua, [even] the city of Arba, father of Anak -- it [is] Hebron.
13 Mas a Calebe, filho de Jefoné, deu uma parte no meio dos filhos de Judá, conforme a ordem do Senhor a Josué; a saber, a cidade de Arba, que é Hebrom; este Arba era pai de Anaque.
14 And Caleb is dispossessing thence the three sons of Anak, Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai, children of Anak,
14 E Calebe expulsou dali os três filhos de Anaque: Sesai, e Aimã, e Talmai, gerados de Anaque.
15 and he goeth up thence unto the inhabitants of Debir; and the name of Debir formerly is Kirjath-Sepher.
15 E dali subiu aos habitantes de Debir; e fora antes o nome de Debir, Quiriate-Sefer.
16 And Caleb saith, `He who smiteth Kirjath-Sephar, and hath captured it -- I have given to him Achsah my daughter for a wife.`
16 E disse Calebe: Quem ferir a Quiriate-Sefer, e a tomar, lhe darei a minha filha Acsa por mulher.
17 And Othniel son of Kenaz, brother of Caleb, doth capture it, and he giveth to him Achsah his daughter for a wife.
17 Tomou-a, pois, Otniel, filho de Quenaz, irmão de Calebe; e deu-lhe a sua filha Acsa por mulher.
18 And it cometh to pass, in her coming in, that she persuadeth him to ask from her father a field, and she lighteth from off the ass, and Caleb saith to her, `What -- to thee?`
18 E sucedeu que, vindo ela a ele, o persuadiu que pedisse um campo a seu pai; e ela desceu do seu jumento; então Calebe lhe disse: Que é que tens?
19 And she saith, `Give to me a blessing; when the land of the south thou hast given me, then thou hast given to me springs of waters;` and he giveth to her the upper springs and the lower springs.
19 E ela disse: Dá-me uma bênção; pois me deste terra seca, dá-me também fontes de águas. Então lhe deu as fontes superiores e as fontes inferiores.
20 This [is] the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Judah, for their families.
20 Esta é a herança da tribo dos filhos de Judá, segundo as suas famílias.
21 And the cities at the extremity of the tribe of the sons of Judah are unto the border of Edom in the south, Kabzeel, and Eder, and Jagur,
21 São, pois, as cidades da tribo dos filhos de Judá, até ao termo de Edom, no extremo sul: Cabzeel, e Eder, e Jagur.
22 and Kinah, and Dimonah, and Adadah,
22 E Quiná, e Dimona, e Adada,
23 and Kedesh, and Hazor, and Ithnan,
23 E Quedes, e Hazor, e Itnã,
24 Ziph, and Telem, and Bealoth,
24 Zife, e Telem, e Bealote,
25 and Hazor, Hadattah, and Kerioth, Hezron, (it [is] Hazor,)
25 E Hazor-Hadata, e Queriote-Hezrom (que é Hazor),
26 Amam, and Shema, and Moladah,
26 Amã e Sema, e Moladá,
27 and Hazar-Gaddah, and Heshmon, and Beth-Palet,
27 E Hazar-Gada, e Hesmom, e Bete-Palete,
28 and Hazar-Shual, and Beer-Sheba, and Bizjothjah,

29 Baalah, and Iim, and Azem,

30 And Eltolad, and Chesil, and Hormah,

31 and Ziklag, and Madmannah, and Sansannah,
31 E Ziclague, e Madmana, e Sansana,
32 and Lebaoth, and Shilhim, and Ain, and Rimmon; all the cities [are] twenty and nine, and their villages.
32 E Lebaote, e Silim, e Aim, e Rimom; todas as cidades e as suas aldeias, vinte e nove.
33 In the low country: Eshtaol, and Zoreah, and Ashnah,
33 Nas planícies: Estaol, e Zorá, e Asná,
34 and Zanoah, and En-Gannim, Tappuah, and Enam,
34 E Zanoa, e En-Ganim, Tapua, e Enã.
35 Jarmuth, and Adullam, Socoh, and Azekah,

36 and Sharaim, and Adithaim, and Gederah, and Gederothaim; fourteen cities and their villages.
36 E Saaraim, e Aditaim, e Gederá, e Gederotaim; catorze cidades e as suas aldeias.
37 Zenan, and Hadashah, and Migdal-Gad,
37 Zenã, e Hadasa, e Migdal-Gade,
38 and Dilean, and Mizpeh, and Joktheel,
38 E Dileã, e Mizpe, e Jocteel,
39 Lachish, and Bozkath, and Eglon,
39 Laquis, e Bozcate, e Eglom,
40 and Cabbon, and Lahmam, and Kithlish,
40 E Cabom, e Laamás, e Quitlis,
41 and Gederoth, Beth-Dagon, and Naamah, and Makkedah; sixteen cities and their villages.
41 E Gederote, Bete-Dagom, e Naamá, e Maquedá, dezesseis cidades e as suas aldeias.
42 Libnah, and Ether, and Ashan,
42 Libna, e Eter, e Asã,
43 and Jiphtah, and Ashnah, and Nezib,
43 E Iftá, e Asná, e Nezibe,
44 and Keilah, and Achzib, and Mareshah; nine cities and their villages.
44 E Queila, e Aczibe, e Maressa; nove cidades e as suas aldeias.
45 Ekron and its towns and its villages,
45 Ecrom, com suas vilas, e as suas aldeias.
46 from Ekron and westward, all that [are] by the side of Ashdod, and their villages.
46 Desde Ecrom, e até ao mar, todas as que estão do lado de Asdode, e as suas aldeias.
47 Ashdod, its towns and its villages, Gaza, its towns and its villages, unto the brook of Egypt, and the great sea, and [its] border.
47 Asdode, com as suas vilas e as suas aldeias; Gaza, com as suas vilas e as suas aldeias, até ao rio do Egito, e o Mar Grande e o seu termo.
48 And in the hill-country: Shamir, and Jattir, and Socoh,
48 E nas montanhas: Samir, Jatir, e Socó.
49 and Dannah, and Kirjath-Sannah (it [is] Debir)
49 E Daná, e Quiriate-Saná (que é Debir),
50 and Anab, and Eshtemoh, and Anim,
50 E Anabe, Estemó, e Anim,
51 and Goshen, and Holon, and Giloh; eleven cities and their villages.
51 E Gósen, e Holom, e Giló; onze cidades e as suas aldeias.
52 Arab, and Dumah, and Eshean,
52 Arabe, e Dumá e Esã,
53 and Janum, and Beth-Tappuah, and Aphekah,
53 E Janim, e Bete-Tapua e Afeca,
54 and Humtah, and Kirjath-Arba (it [is] Hebron), and Zior; nine cities and their villages.
54 E Hunta, e Quiriate-Arba (que é Hebrom), e Zior; nove cidades e as suas aldeias.
55 Maon, Carmel, and Ziph, and Juttah,
55 Maom, Carmelo, e Zife, e Jutá,
56 and Jezreel, and Jokdeam, and Zanoah,
56 E Jizreel, e Jocdeão, e Zanoa,
57 Cain, Gibeah, and Timnah; ten cities and their villages.
57 Caim, Gibeá, e Timna; dez cidades e as suas aldeias.
58 Halhul, Beth-Zur, and Gedor,
58 Halul, Bete-Zur, e Gedor,
59 and Maarath, and Beth-Anoth, and Eltekon; six cities and their villages.
59 E Maarate, e Bete-Anote, e Eltecom; seis cidades e as suas aldeias.
60 Kirjath-Baal (it [is] Kirjath-Jearim), and Rabbah; two cities and their villages.
60 Quiriate-Baal (que é Quiriate-Jearim), e Rabá; duas cidades e as suas aldeias.
61 In the wilderness: Beth-Arabah, Middin, and Secacah,
61 No deserto: Bete-Arabá, Midim, e Secacá,
62 and Nibshan, and the city of Salt, and En-Gedi; six cities and their villages.
62 E Nibsã, e a Cidade do Sal, e En-Gedi; seis cidades e as suas aldeias.
63 As to the Jebusites, inhabitants of Jerusalem, the sons of Judah have not been able to dispossess them, and the Jebusite dwelleth with the sons of Judah in Jerusalem unto this day.
63 Não puderam, porém, os filhos de Judá expulsar os jebuseus que habitavam em Jerusalém; assim habitaram os jebuseus com os filhos de Judá em Jerusalém, até ao dia de hoje.
