5 Estes foram os filhos de Jafé: Gômer, Magogue, Madai, Javã, Tubal, Meseque e Tirás.
6 And sons of Gomer: Ashchenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.
6 Estes foram os filhos de Gômer: Asquenaz, Rifate e Togarma.
7 And sons of Javan: Elisha, and Tarshishah, Kittim, and Dodanim.
7 Estes foram os filhos de Javã: Elisá, Társis, Quitim e Rodanim.
8 Sons of Ham: Cush, and Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.
8 Estes foram os filhos de Cam: Cuxe, Mizraim, Fute e Canaã.
9 And sons of Cush: Seba and Havilah, and Sabta, and Raamah, and Sabtecka. And sons of Raamah: Sheba and Dedan.
9 Estes foram os filhos de Cuxe: Sebá, Havilá, Sabtá, Raamá e Sabtecá. Estes foram os filhos de Raamá: Sabá e Dedã.
10 And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the land.
10 Cuxe gerou Ninrode, o primeiro homem poderoso na terra.
11 And Mizraim begat the Ludim, and the Anamim, and the Lehabim, and the Naphtuhim,
11 Mizraim gerou os luditas, os anamitas, os leabitas, os naftuítas,
12 and the Pathrusim, and the Casluhim (from whom came out the Philistim), and the Caphtorim.
12 os patrusitas, os casluítas, dos quais se originaram os filisteus, e os caftoritas.
13 And Canaan begat Zidon his first born, and Heth,
13 Canaã gerou Sidom, seu filho mais velho, e Hete,
14 and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,
14 como também os jebuseus, os amorreus, os girgaseus,
15 and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,
15 os heveus, os arqueus, os sineus,
16 and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.
16 os arvadeus, os zemareus e os hamateus.
17 Sons of Shem: Elam and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.
17 Estes foram os filhos de Sem: Elão, Assur, Arfaxade, Lude e Arã. Estes foram os filhos de Arã: Uz, Hul, Géter e Meseque.
18 And Arphaxad begat Shelah, and Shelah begat Eber.
18 Arfaxade gerou Salá, e este gerou Héber.
19 And to Eber have been born two sons, the name of the one [is] Peleg, for in his days hath the land been divided, and the name of his brother is Joktan.
19 A Héber nasceram dois filhos: Um deles se chamou Pelegue, porque em sua época a terra foi dividida; seu irmão chamou-se Joctã.
20 And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,
20 Joctã gerou Almodá, Salefe, Hazarmavé, Jerá,
21 and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,
21 Hadorão, Uzal, Dicla,
22 and Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
22 Obal, Abimael, Sabá,
23 and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab; all these [are] sons of Joktan.
23 Ofir, Havilá e Jobabe. Todos esses foram filhos de Joctã.
24 Shem, Arphaxad, Shelah,
24 Sem, Arfaxade, Salá,
25 Eber, Peleg, Reu,
25 Héber, Pelegue, Reú,
26 Serug, Nahor, Terah,

27 Abram -- he [is] Abraham.
27 e Abrão, que é Abraão.
28 Sons of Abraham: Isaac and Ishmael.
28 Estes foram os filhos de Abraão: Isaque e Ismael.
29 These [are] their generations: first-born of Ishmael, Nebaioth, and Kedar, and Adheel, and Mibsam,
29 Foram estes os seus descendentes: Nebaiote, o filho mais velho de Ismael, Quedar, Adbeel, Mibsão,
30 Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema,
30 Misma, Dumá, Massá, Hadade, Temá,
31 Jetur, Naphish, and Kedema. These are sons of Ishmael.
31 Jetur, Nafis e Quedemá. Esses foram os filhos de Ismael.
32 And sons of Keturah, Abraham`s concubine: she bare Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah. And sons of Jokshan: Sheba and Dedan.
32 Estes foram os filhos de Abraão com sua concubina Quetura: Zinrã, Jocsã, Medã, Midiã, Isbaque e Suá. Foram estes os filhos de Jocsã: Sabá e Dedã.
33 And sons of Midian: Ephah and Epher, and Henoch, and Abida, and Eldaah; all these [are] sons of Keturah.
33 Foram estes os filhos de Midiã: Efá, Éfer, Enoque, Abida e Elda. Todos esses foram descendentes de Quetura.
34 And Abraham begetteth Isaac. Sons of Isaac: Esau and Israel.
34 Abraão gerou Isaque. Estes foram os filhos de Isaque: Esaú e Israel.
35 Sons of Esau: Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah.
35 Estes foram os filhos de Esaú: Elifaz, Reuel, Jeús, Jalão e Corá.
36 Sons of Eliphaz: Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.
36 Estes foram os filhos de Elifaz: Temã, Omar, Zefô, Gaetã e Quenaz; e Amaleque, de Timna, sua concumbina.
37 Sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.
37 Estes foram os filhos de Reuel: Naate, Zerá, Samá e Mizá.
38 And sons of Seir: Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezar, and Dishan.
38 Estes foram os filhos de Seir: Lotã, Sobal, Zibeão, Aná, Disom, Eser e Disã. Lotã tinha uma irmã chamada Timna.
39 And sons of Lotan: Hori and Homam, and sister of Lotan [is] Timna.
39 Estes foram os filhos de Lotã: Hori e Homã.
40 Sons of Shobal: Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And sons of Zideon: Aiah and Anah.
40 Estes foram os filhos de Sobal: Alvã, Manaate, Ebal, Sefô e Onã. Estes foram os filhos de Zibeão: Aiá e Aná.
41 The sons of Anah: Dishon. and sons of Dishon: Amram, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
41 Este foi o filho de Aná: Disom. Estes foram os filhos de Disom: Hendã, Esbã, Itrã e Querã.
42 Sons of Ezer: Bilhan, and Zavan, Jakan. Sons of Dishan: Uz and Aran.
42 Estes foram os filhos de Eser: Bilã, Zaavã e Acã. Estes foram os filhos de Disã: Uz e Arã.
43 And these [are] the kings who reigned in the land of Edom before the reigning of a king of the sons of Israel: Bela son of Beor, and the name of his city [is] Dinhabah.
43 Estes foram os reis que reinaram no território de Edom antes que os israelitas tivessem um rei: Belá, filho de Beor. Sua cidade chamava-se Dinabá.
44 And Bela dieth, and reign in his stead doth Jobab son of Zerah from Bozrali;
44 Belá morreu, e Jobabe, filho de Zerá, de Bozra, foi o seu sucessor.
45 and Jobab dieth, and reign in his stead doth Husham from the land of the Temanite;
45 Jobabe morreu, e Husã, da terra dos temanitas, foi o seu sucessor.
46 and Husham dieth, and reign in his stead doth Hadad, son of Bedad (who smiteth Midian in the field of Moab) and the name of his city [is] Avith;
46 Husã morreu, e Hadade, filho de Bedade, que tinha derrotado os midianitas na terra de Moabe, foi o seu sucessor. Sua cidade chamava-se Avite.
47 and Hadad dieth, and reign in his stead doth Samlah from Masrekah;
47 Hadade morreu, e Samlá de Masreca foi o seu sucessor.
48 and Samlah dieth, and reign in his stead doth Shaul from Rehoboth of the River;
48 Samlá morreu, e Saul, de Reobote, próxima ao Eufrates, foi o seu sucessor.
49 and Shaul dieth, and reign in his stead doth Baal-Hanan son of Achbor;
49 Saul morreu, e Baal-Hanã, filho de Acbor, foi o seu sucessor.
50 and Baal-Hanan dieth, and reign in his stead doth Hadad, and the name of his city [is] Pai, and the name of his wife [is] Mehetabel daughter of Matred, daughter of Me-Zahab; Hadad also dieth.
50 Baal-Hanã morreu, e Hadade foi o seu sucessor. Sua cidade chamava-se Paú, e o nome de sua mulher era Meetabel, filha de Matrede e neta de Mezaabe.
51 And chiefs of Edom are: chief Timnah, chief Aliah, chief Jetheth,
51 Após a morte de Hadade, Edom foi governada pelos seguintes chefes: Timna, Alva, Jetete,
52 chief Aholibamah, chief Elah, chief Pinon,
52 Oolibama, Elá, Pinom,
53 chief Kenaz, chief Teman, chief Mibzar,
53 Quenaz, Temã, Mibzar,
54 chief Magdiel, chief Iram. These [are] chiefs of Edom.
