1 Come, and let us return to Jehovah. For He has torn, and He will heal us. He has stricken, and He will bind us up.
1 “Venham e voltemos para o Porque ele nos despedaçou, mas vai nos curar; ele nos feriu, mas vai atar as feridas.
2 After two days He will restore us to life. In the third day He will raise us up, and we shall live in His presence.
2 Depois de dois dias, nos dará vida; ao terceiro dia, nos ressuscitará, e viveremos diante dele.
3 Then we shall know, we who follow on to know Jehovah. His going forth is established as the dawn. And He shall come to us as the rain, as the latter and former rain to the earth.
3 Conheçamos e prossigamos em conhecer o Como o amanhecer, a sua vinda é certa; ele descerá sobre nós como a chuva, como chuva fora de época que rega a terra.”
4 O Ephraim, what shall I do to you? O Judah, what shall I do to you? For your goodness is like a morning cloud, and it goes away like the early dew.
4 “Que farei com você, Efraim? Que farei com você, Judá? Porque o amor de vocês é como a névoa da manhã e como o orvalho da madrugada, que logo desaparece.
5 Therefore I have hewn them by the prophets; I have slain them by the Words of My mouth; and your judgments are as the light that goes forth.
5 Por isso, os abati por meio dos profetas; pela palavra da minha boca, os matei; e os meus juízos sairão como a luz.
6 For I desire mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.
6 Pois quero misericórdia, e não sacrifício; conhecimento de Deus, mais do que holocaustos.”
7 But, like Adam, they have transgressed the covenant; they have dealt treacherously against Me there.
7 “Mas eles transgrediram a aliança, como Adão; eles foram infiéis a mim.
8 Gilead is a city of those who work iniquity, foot-tracked with blood.
8 Gileade é a cidade dos que praticam a injustiça, manchada de sangue.
9 And as bands of robbers lie in wait for a man, so the company of priests murder in the way, getting an early start at it; for they plot wickedness.
9 Como bandos de assaltantes que espreitam alguém, assim é a companhia dos sacerdotes, pois matam no caminho para Siquém; praticam perversidades.
10 I have seen a horrible thing in the house of Israel: there is the harlotry of Ephraim; Israel is defiled.
10 Vejo uma coisa horrenda na casa de Israel: ali está a prostituição de Efraim; Israel se contaminou.”
11 Also, O Judah, a harvest is appointed for you, when I return the captives of My people.
11 “Também você, Judá, será ceifado, quando eu remover o cativeiro do meu povo.
