Isaías 54

1 Rejoice, O barren one, you who have not borne; break forth into screams of delight, you who have not writhed in pangs. For more are the children of the desolate than the children of the one who is married, says Jehovah.
1 “Cante, ó mulher sem filhos, você que nunca deu à luz! Cante alegremente, em alta voz, ó Jerusalém, você que nunca esteve em trabalho de parto! Pois a abandonada agora tem mais filhos que a mulher que vive com o marido”, diz o S
2 Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings. Do not spare, lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes;
2 “Amplie o lugar onde mora, construa mais um cômodo, aumente sua casa, e não economize nisso!
3 for you shall burst forth on the right hand and on the left. And your seed shall inherit the nations, and make the desolate cities inhabited.
3 Pois logo você transbordará para todos os lados; seus descendentes ocuparão outras nações e povoarão as cidades arruinadas.
4 Do not fear, for you shall not be ashamed; nor be humiliated, for you shall not be put to shame. For you shall forget the shame of your youth, and shall not remember the reproach of your widowhood any more.
4 “Não se assuste; você não será envergonhada. Não tenha medo; você não sofrerá humilhação. Não se lembrará mais da vergonha de sua juventude, nem da tristeza da viuvez.
5 For your Maker is your husband; Jehovah of Hosts is His name; and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel. He shall be called, GOD OF THE WHOLE EARTH.
5 Pois seu marido será aquele que a fez; o S Ele é seu Redentor, o Santo de Israel, o Deus de toda a terra.
6 For Jehovah has called you as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, like a wife of youth, when you were rejected, says your God.
6 Pois o S enhor a chamou de volta de seu lamento, você que era como uma jovem esposa abandonada”, diz o seu Deus.
7 For a brief moment I have left you; but with great mercies I will gather you.
7 “Por um breve tempo eu a abandonei, mas com grande compaixão a receberei de volta.
8 In overflowing wrath I hid My face from you for a moment; but with everlasting kindness I will have mercy upon you, says Jehovah your Redeemer.
8 Num ímpeto de fúria, escondi meu rosto de você por um momento, mas com amor eterno terei compaixão de você”, diz o S
9 For this is like the waters of Noah to Me; for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should never again overflow the earth, so I have sworn to not be angry with you, nor rebuke you.
9 “Assim como jurei no tempo de Noé que nunca mais cobriria a terra com um dilúvio, agora juro que nunca mais ficarei irado com você nem a castigarei.
10 For the mountains shall depart and the hills be removed, but My kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall My covenant of peace be removed, says Jehovah, who has mercy on you.
10 Pois, ainda que os montes se movam e as colinas desapareçam, meu amor por você permanecerá. A aliança de minha bênção jamais será quebrada”, diz o S
11 O you afflicted one, storm-tossed and not comforted, behold, I will lay your stones with colorful gems, and lay your foundations with sapphires.
11 “Ó cidade açoitada por tempestades, aflita e desolada! Eu a reconstruirei com pedras preciosas e edificarei seus alicerces com safiras.
12 And I will make your pinnacles of ruby, and your gates of sparkling stones, and all your borders of delightful stones.
12 Farei suas torres de rubis cintilantes, seus portões, de joias brilhantes, seus muros, de pedras preciosas.
13 And all your children shall be taught of Jehovah, and great shall be the peace of your children.
13 Ensinarei seus filhos, e eles terão grande paz.
14 In righteousness you shall be established; you shall be far from oppression; for you shall not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near you.
14 Você estará segura sob um governo justo e imparcial, e seus inimigos se manterão afastados. Viverá em paz, e nenhum terror se aproximará.
15 Indeed, they shall surely gather together, but not by Me; whoever shall gather against you, by you he shall fall.
15 Se alguma nação vier lutar contra você, não será porque eu a enviei; todos que a atacarem serão derrotados.
16 Behold, I have created the smith who blows the coals in the fire, and who brings out a tool for his work; and I have created the one who ruins to destroy.
16 “Eu criei o ferreiro que abana as brasas do fogo e produz armas de destruição, e criei os exércitos que destroem.
17 No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment, you shall condemn. This is the inheritance of the servants of Jehovah, and their righteousness is from Me, says Jehovah.
17 Naquele dia, porém, nenhuma arma voltada contra você prevalecerá. Você calará toda voz que se levantar para acusá-la. É assim que o S eu lhes farei justiça. Eu, o S
