1 But of the gaderyngis of money that ben maad in to seyntis, as Y ordeynede in the chirchis of Galathie, so also do ye o dai of the wouke.
1 Quanto à pergunta sobre o dinheiro que vocês estão coletando para o povo santo, sigam as mesmas instruções que dei às igrejas na Galácia.
2 Ech of you kepe at hym silf, kepynge that that plesith to him, that whanne Y come, the gaderyngis ben not maad.
2 No primeiro dia de cada semana, separem uma parte de sua renda. Não esperem até que eu chegue para então coletar tudo de uma vez.
3 And whanne Y schal be present, whiche men ye preuen, Y schal sende hem bi epistlis to bere youre grace in to Jerusalem.
3 Quando eu chegar, entregarei cartas de recomendação aos mensageiros que vocês escolherem para levar sua oferta a Jerusalém.
4 That if it be worthi that also Y go, thei schulen go with me.
4 E, se for conveniente que eu também vá, eles viajarão comigo.
5 But Y schal come to you, whanne Y schal passe bi Macedonye; for whi Y schal passe bi Macedonye.
5 Eu os visitarei depois de ir à Macedônia, pois devo passar por lá.
6 But perauenture Y schal dwelle at you, or also dwelle the wynter, that and ye lede me whidir euere Y schal go.
6 Talvez permaneça um tempo com vocês, quem sabe todo o inverno. Depois vocês poderão me encaminhar para meu próximo destino.
7 And Y wole not now se you in my passyng, for Y hope to dwelle with you awhile, if the Lord schal suffre.
7 Desta vez, não quero visitá-los apenas de passagem; quero ficar algum tempo, se o Senhor o permitir.
8 But Y schal dwelle at Efesi, `til to Witsuntide.
8 Por enquanto, permanecerei em Éfeso até a festa de Pentecostes.
9 For a grete dore and an opyn is openyd to me, and many aduersaries.
9 Há uma porta inteiramente aberta para realizar um grande trabalho aqui, ainda que muitos se oponham a mim.
10 And if Thimothe come, se ye that he be with out drede with you, for he worcheth the werk of the Lord, as Y.
10 Quando Timóteo chegar, não deve se sentir intimidado por vocês. Ele está realizando a obra do Senhor, assim como eu.
11 Therfor no man dispise hym; but lede ye hym forth in pees, that he come to me; for Y abide hym with britheren.
11 Não deixem que ninguém o trate com desprezo. Enviem-no de volta para mim com sua bênção. Espero que ele venha junto com os demais irmãos.
12 But, britheren, Y make knowun to you of Apollo, that Y preiede him myche, that he schulde come to you, with britheren. But it was not his wille to come now; but he schal come, whanne he schal haue leiser.
12 Quanto a nosso irmão Apolo, insisti que ele os visitasse com os outros irmãos, mas ele não estava disposto a ir agora. Ele o fará mais tarde, quando tiver oportunidade.
13 Walke ye, and stonde ye in the feith; do ye manli, and be ye coumfortid in the Lord,
13 Estejam vigilantes. Permaneçam firmes na fé. Sejam corajosos. Sejam fortes.
14 and be alle youre thingis don in charite.
14 Façam tudo com amor.
15 And, britheren, Y biseche you, ye knowen the hous of Stephan, and of Fortunati, and Acaicy, for thei ben the firste fruytis of Acaie, and in to mynystrie of seyntis thei han ordeyned hem silf;
15 Vocês sabem que Estéfanas e sua família foram os primeiros convertidos na Acaia e têm dedicado a vida ao serviço do povo de Deus. Peço, irmãos,
16 that also ye be sugetis to suche, and to ech worchynge togidere and trauelynge.
16 que se sujeitem a eles e a outros que, como eles, servem com tanta devoção.
17 For Y haue ioie in the presence of Stephan, and of Fortunate, and Acaici;
17 Estou muito contente com a vinda de Estéfanas, Fortunato e Acaico. Eles proveram a ajuda que vocês, por não estarem aqui, não puderam me dar.
18 for thei filliden that thing that failide to you; for thei han refreischid bothe my spirit and youre. Therfor knowe ye hem, that ben suche maner men.
18 Eles têm sido um grande estímulo para mim, como foram para vocês. Valorizem todos que servem tão bem.
19 Alle the chirchis of Asie greten you wel. Aquila and Prisca, with her homeli chirche, greten you myche in the Lord, at the whiche also Y am herborid.
19 As igrejas aqui na província da Ásia enviam saudações no Senhor. Também os saúdam Áquila e Priscila e todos da igreja que se reúne na casa deles.
20 Alle bretheren greten you wel. Grete ye wel togidere in hooli cos.
20 Todos os irmãos daqui lhes enviam saudações. Saúdem uns aos outros com beijo santo.
21 My gretyng bi Poulis hoond.
21 Esta é minha saudação de próprio punho: Paulo.
22 If ony man loueth not oure Lord Jhesu Crist, be he cursid, Maranatha.
22 Se alguém não ama o Senhor, essa pessoa é maldita. Vem, nosso Senhor!
23 The grace of oure Lord Jhesu Crist be with you.
23 Que a graça do Senhor Jesus esteja com vocês.
24 My charite be with you alle in Crist Jhesu oure Lord. Amen.
