1 In the eiythe monethe, in the secounde yeer of Darius, the word of the Lord was maad to Sacarie, the sone of Barachie, the sone of Addo,
1 No oitavo mês, no segundo ano de Dario, veio a palavra do SENHOR a Zacarias, filho de Baraquias, filho de Ido, o profeta, dizendo:
2 profete, and seide, The Lord is wrooth on youre fadris with wrathfulnesse.
2 O SENHOR se irou fortemente contra vossos pais.
3 And thou schalt seie to hem, The Lord of oostis seith these thingis. Be ye conuertid to me, seith the Lord of oostis, and Y schal be conuertid to you, seith the Lord of oostis.
3 Portanto, dize-lhes: Assim diz o SENHOR dos Exércitos: Tornai-vos para mim, diz o SENHOR dos Exércitos, e tornarei para vós, diz o SENHOR dos Exércitos.
4 Be ye not as youre fadris, to whiche the formere profetis crieden, seiynge, The Lord of oostis seith these thingis, Be ye conuertid fro youre yuel weies, and youre worste thouytis; and thei herden not, nether token tent to me, seith the Lord of oostis.
4 Não sejais como vossos pais, aos quais os primeiros profetas clamavam, dizendo: Assim diz o SENHOR dos Exércitos: Desviai-vos agora dos vossos maus caminhos, e das vossas más obras; mas eles não ouviram, nem me escutaram, diz o SENHOR.
5 Where ben youre fadris and profetis? whether thei schulen lyue with outen ende?
5 Vossos pais, onde estão eles? E os profetas, vivem eles para sempre?
6 Netheles my wordis and my lawful thingis, whiche Y comaundide to my seruauntis profetis, whether thei tauyten not youre fadris? And thei weren conuertid, and seiden, As the Lord of oostys thouyte for to do to vs bi oure weies, and bi oure fyndingis he dide to vs.
6 Mas as minhas palavras e os meus estatutos, os quais ordenei aos meus servos, os profetas, não alcançaram os vossos pais? E eles voltaram e disseram: Assim como o SENHOR dos Exércitos pensou em fazer a nós, de acordo com os nossos caminhos, e segundo as nossas obras, assim ele tratou conosco.
7 In the foure and twentithe dai of the enleuenthe monethe Sabath, in the secounde yeer of Darius, the word of the Lord was maad to Sacarie, sone of Barachie, sone of Addo,
7 Aos vinte e quatro dias do décimo primeiro mês, que é o mês de Sebate, no segundo ano de Dario, veio a palavra do SENHOR a Zacarias, filho de Baraquias, filho de Ido, o profeta, dizendo:
8 profete, and seide, Y saiy bi niyt, and lo! a man stiynge on a reed hors; and he stood bitwixe places where mirtis wexen, that weren in the depthe, and aftir hym weren horsis reede, dyuerse, and white.
8 Eu vi à noite, e eis que vi um homem que cavalgava sobre um cavalo vermelho, e ele se pôs entre as murtas que estavam abaixo; e atrás dele havia cavalos vermelhos, salpicados e brancos.
9 And Y seide, My lord, who ben these? And an aungel of the Lord seide to me, that spak in me, Y schal schewe to thee what these ben.
9 Então eu disse: Ó meu senhor, o que são estes? E o anjo que falava comigo me disse: Eu te mostrarei o que estes são.
10 And the man that stood bitwix places where mirtis wexen, answeride, and seide, These it ben, whiche the Lord sente, that thei walke thorouy erthe.
10 E o homem que estava entre as murtas respondeu e disse: Estes são os que o SENHOR enviou para percorrerem a terra para lá e para cá.
11 And thei answeriden to the aungel of the Lord, that stood bitwixe places where mirtis wexen, and seiden, We han walkid thorouy erthe, and lo! al erthe is enhabitid, and restith.
11 E eles responderam ao anjo do SENHOR, que estava entre as murtas, e disseram: Nós já percorremos a terra, para lá e para cá, e eis que toda a terra está tranquila e em descanso.
12 And the aungel of the Lord answeride, and seide, Lord of oostis, hou long schalt thou not haue merci on Jerusalem, and citees of Juda, to whiche thou art wrooth? This now is the seuentithe yeer.
12 Então o anjo do SENHOR respondeu e disse: Ó SENHOR dos Exércitos, até quando não terás misericórdia de Jerusalém e das cidades de Judá, contra as quais estiveste indignado estes setenta anos?
13 And the Lord answeride to the aungel, that spak in me, goode wordis, and wordis of coumfort.
13 E o SENHOR respondeu ao anjo que falava comigo com palavras boas e palavras consoladoras.
14 And the aungel that spak in me, seide to me, Crie thou, seiynge, The Lord of oostis seith these thingis, Y louyde Jerusalem and Sion in greet feruour;
14 Então o anjo que falava comigo disse-me: Clama, dizendo: Assim diz o SENHOR dos Exércitos: Eu zelo por Jerusalém e por Sião com mui grande zelo.
15 and in greet wraththe Y schal be wroth on riche folkis; for Y was wrooth a litil, forsothe thei helpiden in to yuel.
15 E estou muito descontente com os pagãos que estão em descanso; porque eu estava um pouco descontente, mas eles ajudaram a espalhar a aflição.
16 Therfor the Lord seith these thingis, Y schal turne ayen to Jerusalem in mercies. Myn hous schal be bildid in it, seith the Lord of oostis; and a plomet schal be streiyt out on Jerusalem.
16 Portanto, assim diz o SENHOR: Eu voltei a Jerusalém com misericórdias; minha casa será edificada nela, diz o SENHOR dos Exércitos, e um cordel será estendido sobre Jerusalém;
17 Yit crie thou, seiynge, The Lord of oostis seith these thingis, Yit my citees schulen flete with goodis, and yit the Lord schal coumforte Sion, and yit he schal chese Jerusalem.
17 clama outra vez, dizendo: Assim diz o SENHOR dos Exércitos: As minhas cidades, através da prosperidade, ainda se espalharão; e o SENHOR ainda consolará Sião e ainda escolherá Jerusalém.
18 And Y reiside myn iyen, and Y saiy, and lo! foure hornes.
18 Então eu levantei os meus olhos, e eis que vi quatro chifres.
19 And Y seide to the aungel that spak in me, What ben these? And he seide to me, These ben hornes, that wyndewiden Juda, and Israel, and Jerusalem.
19 E disse ao anjo que falava comigo: Que são estes? E ele me respondeu: Estes são os chifres que dispersaram a Judá, a Israel e a Jerusalém.
20 And the Lord schewide to me foure smythis.
20 E o SENHOR me mostrou quatro carpinteiros.
21 And Y seide, What comen these for to do? Which spak, seiynge, These ben the hornes, that wyndewiden Juda bi alle men, and no man of hem reiside his heed; and these camen for to make hem aferd, that thei caste doun the hornes of hethene men, which reisiden horn on the lond of Juda, for to scatere it.
21 Então eu disse: Que vêm estes fazer? E ele falou, dizendo: Estes são os chifres que dispersaram Judá, de modo que nenhum homem ergueu a sua cabeça; estes, pois, vieram para amedrontá-los, para derrubar os chifres dos gentios, que levantaram o seu chifre sobre a terra de Judá para dispersá-la.
