1 Sing to Yahweh a new song! Sing to Yahweh, all the earth.
1 Cantai ao Senhor um cântico novo, cantai ao
2 Sing to Yahweh! Bless his name! Proclaim his salvation from day to day!
2 Cantai ao Senhor , bendizei o seu nome; proclamai a sua salvação, dia após dia.
3 Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples.
3 Anunciai entre as nações a sua glória, entre todos os povos, as suas maravilhas.
4 For Yahweh is great, and greatly to be praised! He is to be feared above all gods.
4 Porque grande é o Senhor e mui digno de ser louvado, temível mais que todos os deuses.
5 For all the gods of the peoples are idols, but Yahweh made the heavens.
5 Porque todos os deuses dos povos não passam de ídolos; o
6 Honor and majesty are before him. Strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.
6 Glória e majestade estão diante dele, força e formosura, no seu santuário.
7 Ascribe to Yahweh, you families of nations, ascribe to Yahweh glory and strength.
7 Tributai ao Senhor , ó famílias dos povos, tributai ao
8 Ascribe to Yahweh the glory due to his name. Bring an offering, and come into his courts.
8 Tributai ao Senhor a glória devida ao seu nome; trazei oferendas e entrai nos seus átrios.
9 Worship Yahweh in holy array. Tremble before him, all the earth.
9 Adorai o Senhor na beleza da sua santidade; tremei diante dele, todas as terras.
10 Say among the nations, “Yahweh reigns.” The world is also established. It can’t be moved. He will judge the peoples with equity.
10 Dizei entre as nações: Reina o Senhor . Ele firmou o mundo para que não se abale e julga os povos com equidade.
11 Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice. Let the sea roar, and its fullness!
11 Alegrem-se os céus, e a terra exulte; ruja o mar e a sua plenitude.
12 Let the field and all that is in it exult! Then all the trees of the woods shall sing for joy
12 Folgue o campo e tudo o que nele há; regozijem-se todas as árvores do bosque,
13 before Yahweh; for he comes, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness, the peoples with his truth.
13 na presença do Senhor , porque vem, vem julgar a terra; julgará o mundo com justiça e os povos, consoante a sua fidelidade.
